Epson EMP X5
Review of Epson EMP X5 by
LogitechUSAUK
Advantages: Good price
Disadvantages: Low resolution
...This is projector is affordable but still has some positive features. The resolution of 1024 x 768 allows clear projection with much detail. However if you are interested in High definition or multimedia i would not recommend this. However for business or education this is perfect. The 2200 ANSI Lumens allows the pictures to be very bright in well lit conditions. It was very easy to set this up and epson provided all the cables in needed. This epson website is also very helpful for driver and software updates. Even though this is not a DLP projector i think this projector meets its demands nicely and is a good price. Other products to consider would be the Optoma range since they also are very good....

Simply the best - DX4450
Review of Epson DX4450 by
MI9to5
Advantages: Superb print quality for an inkjet printer
Disadvantages: Can be a little noisy.
...I've only ever had a non-Epson printer once and I'll never be doing that again, so when I went out to choose a new printer Epson was my first choice. After much deliberation the printer I eventually choice was the Epson DX4450.
Once I got it home and unpacked it, I set about connecting it to me computer expecting the process to take quite a while. I was pleasantly surprised as from unpacking to printing the first document it only took about 20 minutes. Fantastic.
When the document had printed I was also exceptionally pleased with the print quality which was far better than I have ever had with my other printers in the past. Being impressed I decided to print a colour document (the first had been black and white) to see how this fared. Again the print quality was excellent and better still the paper was feeding through correctly...

Prints Charming
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R2400 by
SnowiestElf
Advantages: Super print quality, super high density inks and improved durability
Disadvantages: Very expensive, does not print well on normal paper and has no memory card slots.
...The Epson Stylus Photo R2400, has changed the world of printing forever. This printer was built to replace the Stylus Photo 2200 and is an A3 sized printer. I firmly believe that this must be one of the best quality consumer inkjet printers that has ever been manufactured. It uses a new type of ink technology, called the Ultrachrome K3 system. The printer makes full use of three different colour levels of black ink and some superb driver facilities. All this enables the Stylus Photo R2400 to produce some super-professional quality prints, in both black-and-white and colour, and upon some highly impressive printing media. I think this printer would be extremely useful, particularly for photographers or those with a keen interest in printed graphics.
The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 uses 8 colour Ultrachrome K3 technology to produce some...

reliable workhorse
Review of Epson Stylus Color 850 by
voodoo
Advantages: speed colour, pages per inkwell
Disadvantages: price age
...This epson printer is bordering on the windows workgroup highend user market and it shows, with reliable parts and a larger ink tank than most epsons.
the print quality is very good and little banding is in effect on the colour printing, the print quality on coated paper is very good only slightly as good as the epson photo printer.
The print speed on the epson 850 is very good and this beauty just streams pages out almost as fast as a lazer printer.
A good quality printer that is perfect for that little extra work....

If you have a printer read this
Review of cheaperink.co.uk. by
offy
Advantages: Very cheap ink cartridges, quick delivery, good quality
Disadvantages: Not the original brand
...to ‘returns’ explains their returns policy. The main points are that faulty goods will be replaced free of charge, incorrectly ordered goods will be refunded subject to a 25% handling charge and the customer pays the return postage.
When you click on a printer make you get two choices: compatible cartridges and refill kits. When you click on one of these you are presented with a list of the products available for that manufacturer. I have an Epson Stylus Colour 440 printer and I have the choice of a black cartridge for £5.45 or a 3 colour cartridge for £9.45. To give you an idea of the incredible price savings here, an Epson branded black cartridge will set me back £22.00 and a non-branded one from WH Smiths will cost me £10.99. I am currently using these cartridges, and I can see absolutely no difference in the quality...

AVOID EPSON STYLUS CX6600
Review of Epson Stylus CX6600 by
CUMBRIABROOKS
Advantages: sorry can not recommend any advantages for this Epson model
Disadvantages: expensive ink cartridges, stops working totally requiring service at a shop, constant paperjam
...I previously worked in admin/office work, always had HP Printers & a friend recommended Epson to me (big mistake) I purchased my Epson CX6600 18 months ago, after using the printer for approx 6 months it displayed printer error "see your documentation & call service if necessary" an Epson outlet service centre replaced the printer, the Second printer has been in my possession approx 12 months & again today it displays the same message, I have a small business & have to say BOTH printers were not used excessively (some days they are not used at all) & they constantly had paper jam, the ink is VERY expensive & overpriced by Epson & of course Epson set the printer default so you ARE UNABLE to use the printer AT ALL until it has been to their service centre! TOTAL RIP OFF & the quality of print & features are nothing startling, stick...

Buy shares in Duracell
Review of Fujifilm FinePix 2200 by
DrC
Advantages: High definition instant pictures
Disadvantages: Flattens Batteries
...I have now owned a Fuji Finepix 2200 for about 9 months and I have to say that I am very impressed. Despite the criticisms that digital cameras get over resolution this camera takes vivid, clear pictures that, on screen, are easily comparable with traditional film. There’s none of those saw-tooth edges that other cameras tend to show. On paper it’s more down to your printer but my Epson 880 does very well with glossy paper.
Yes, the camera is fixed focus and some people criticise these as being unable to take good landscape shots from a distance but I haven’t found this to be the case, it takes genuinely good pictures in all conditions.
Here’s a secret that will let you take fantastic pictures: in dim conditions don’t just leave the flash on automatic. You’ll end up with those amateurish...

Epson stylus color printer
Review of Epson Stylus Color 440 by
willsmj
Advantages: good quality
Disadvantages: few
...The Epson stylus 440 color printer is a robust, good quality printer. Having used one now for some two years I have a lot of faith in it. The quality of the print is good, and it is very easy to use. The ink cartridges are not over the top and can be bought in bulk, making them reasonably priced. It's self cleaning facilities are a premium. It is the second Epson I have had and the ongoing improvements by the company towards its printers have resulted in a very good product indeed. The printers are starting to age now and can be purchased second hand at around £40. This is a bargain if it is in good condition, worth a punt....

Epson D92
Review of Epson Stylus D92 by
Bossjock
Advantages: Cheap, Excellent reproduction of Graphics
Disadvantages: Expensive Epson Ink, fiddly, insufficient choice of settings
...As a user of Epson printers for a good number of years I was extremely disappointed with this Printer. The beauty of Epson for me has always been the low cost of Purchase as well as the ability to use compatible inks. I use mine heavily and so when it expired I could easily and cheaply replace it.
As other reviewers have said, it is probably good only for occasional use however my problem, and why I won't buy another Epson, is that Epson deny you the freedom of choice as to what Ink you use ie Compatibles (for example 'Ink-rite'), like it or not you are more or less stuck with overpriced 'Epson'. Whilst the printer will accept compatible inks the chip on the Epson D92 told me the Ink had run out on 'Black' after only a few prints. On inspecting the Cartridge it was 2/3rds full, I then had to 'trick' the Printer into thinking I...

EXPENSIVE SCRAP EQUIPMENT
Review of Epson Stylus Photo 1270 by
mikegold
Advantages: LOOKS GOOD
Disadvantages: WAST OF SPACE
...Having just recently brought my new Epson printer which is a excellent piece of equipment I am dismayed that when
Epson sell new models like my Photo 1270 that they do not put a supply of ink into the market place. MY printer
cost me just short of £400.00 is three months old and useless because there is no colour ink available, I find this
totally intolerable from such a big company the machine will not even print in black and white so I have a £400.00
piece of junk. Epson also do not publish an email address to enable contact they only have printed forms for help
which make complaining very difficult dont think I will bye Epson ever again, it also does not pay to bye the best...
