...Extras Christmas Special focuses on ex-extra Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) and his dramatic rise to fame, and the effect that has on his friends and close ones. The sitcom he has written, 'When the whistle blows' is attracting 6 million viewers a week, but Andy is concerned that he's attracting the wrong class of people to his show. Andy feels sold out and his success isn't making him happier. Throughout the first and second series he had always been accompanied by his agent Darren (Stephen Merchant) and the socially-inept, but good-hearted Maggie (Ashley Jensen). However, in his eager desire to rise to the top, he sacks Darren and finds little time to spend with Maggie. He sacrifices his friends in order to make it big. ...So after a couple of ops on totally unhealthy things, I thought I ought get back to being a healthy body beautiful! This is something I generally get during my pilgrimage to the great Asda. I find this is really useful thing to keep in the cupboard. ** What are they? ** Asda extra special Taste of New England dried fruit mix, is just that it is a packet of dried fruit, you can eat them straight from the packet (my favoured option) you can add them to your morning cereal, or you could use them in a cake mix! ** What’s the pack like? ** Incredible the product is called “Taste of New England”, which I take to be the USA, but on the back of the packet says produce of more than one country! ...Approaching my 50th review, I decided it was worth having a look for something a little different to try. Although I had several tempting suggestions for the milestone, I couldn't locate any of the yoghurts, so settled for something that sounded equally as scrumptious. Amongst the yoghurts in the dairy section of Asda, I noticed their Extra Special range, and was lured closer to the Lemon Curd flavour. Although I'd not had a Lemon Curd yoghurt before, I am quite partial to a Tart, and thought it was most certainly worth a try. This particular yoghurt comes in a circular pot like most others, but is made of tough cardboard rather than plastic. ...Well this week I went out to ASDA and while looking at there somewhat wide DVD collection I cam upon E.T and to top it all off its Special Edition. I took it to the till instantly and paid for it then left to store to go home. When arriving home I read the back of the DVD and then placed one of the two disk special edition DVD into the DVD player. From then on I was trapped into the wonder charm of E.T which still is as good as it ever was. The movie has remastered which makes it even better. E.T was released on June 11th 1982 which makes this classic now 23 years old. For those of you who do not know of E.T or have never watched it.
