...I currently have this television, and i have had it for almost a year and i have not yet found a fault with it, This television has some excellant features such as: picture in picture (this comes in handy when there is a rugby match on and you just want to check up on the scores whilst watching something else) Clear crisp sound(excellant when combined with a home theatre system) Great picture(because of the large screen size you get a better view of your favourite programmes instead of a less enjoyable experiance of watching your favourite programmes on a mere 15 inch television which doesn't make watching TV a pleasurable experiance) I found this Tv very easy to install and I was enjoying my favourite programmes within 2 hours of it arriving, The only disadvantage of installing this is that it is quite heavy to lift upon the stand... Advantages: You can watch films how they were made to be watched. Excellent picture quality.Surround Sound is great for movies like the Matrix and the Fifth Element.
Disadvantages: Only 2 scart sockets can cause aggreviation, when you have a lot of extra equipment. Although you can loop them through the video.

...The Medion 20099 television caught my eye first of all because of the price. Most High Definition televisions are very expensive twice the price of this television. I then checked out the speciforcations. I was supprised as this has everything needed and more. This television has a 180 degree angle screen which means you can watch it anywhere in the room (watch out as some more expensive televisions do not have this). The sound quality is excellent and it also has a 2 tuner PIP (which means picture in picture). It also has a hdmi socket. The pixels on this television give a very clear picture. It can also be wall mounted or left free standing. The feet make it difficult as it is hard to find a stand big enougth. But when combined with a dvd player with hdmi lead the quality is outstanding. Advantages: Easy Setup & Excellent picture quality

...manual, I found the information to allow me to maually setup the TV. This was quite a simple process as the TV automatically scanned for channels and set them in the correct order BBC1,BBC2,ITV,C4,C5 ETC. The quality of the picture is excellent as a lot of 28" widescreen TV's tend to distort the picture too much, this TV offers a polethora of Widescreen display options if the "Auto" select fnction to not to your taste but to be honest I find this the most pleasing on the eye. The remote control is layed out in a logical manner, if a bit cluttered due to it's ability to also control Samsung Video recorders and and DVD players. This is a good idea if you have other Samsung devices. A better idea would be if it was able to control other manufacturers devices but I presume this is to promote "Brand Loyalty". ...British TV is obsessed with cops and hospitals. If aliens judged us by our TV programmes, they'd conclude all earthlings are either committing crimes or on the critical list. Not since the old "Tales of the Unexpected" has British TV attempted anything in an imaginative realm. This hasn't changed, because it is the USA - who produce all the sci-fi and fantasy programmes - who have provided us with 30-minute "Ghost Stories" - which have been relegated to ITV2 in the early hours. How I wish they could shuffle aside a few police-station desks or hospital beds to show it earlier! I end up bug-eyed from staying up late to watch it. Admittedly, some stories are unsubtle, and others are predictable - the revenge of the murderee on the murderer, for example, and being American, they occasionally contain a heavy-handed moral lesson... ...I purchased this TV a short while ago. I paid £700, and for the money i have paid, i am very impressed with the quality and performance i have recieved. --Looks-- The first ting that attracted me was the style and design of the television itself. The sleek, silver look is very attractive and can become a centre piece of a living room. There are also no corners to the television, instead it is all neatly rounded off, making the shape more gentle, and less aggressive which allows it to sit comfortably without becoming an eye-sour. --Size-- As for the size of the unit, i think its reasonably small. You can place this television against a flat wall and it will not "stick out" too much. This is because the back fo the television is relativly flat, allowing easy positioning in any room. ...the opportunity to use it as a regular monitor for windows and games and to watch as a TV for films and media up closer. Don't forget your Xbox 360! after all the Xbox 360 is HD ready and can output to 720 on this TV which will give the TV more life over just being a standard TV, may I add that this TV was the launch partner of the Xbox 360 as an affordable TV that can really show off the image quality of the 360s games. The quality of the screen itself is very clear and crisp at (1280x720 - HDTV720p) but push it up to its maximum resolution of 1360x768 and the image becomes more blurry and hard for your eyes to focus on. The monitor is usable in 640x480 800x600 1024x768 1280x720 HDTV (best) 1360x768 HDTV 1280x720p is best for viewing film and moving images, such as films. ...i found the tv to be good value television set styling is very good and easy on the eye although it is not a widescreen so not as modern as i would like and i have found it to be good value for money,reliable,stylish with sensible controls and a remote control that is straight forward and easy to use the only problem is that the infra red receiver on the tv had to have asimple repair a year ago and as abudget buy i would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a television for a small room or for a bedroom....
