The fat from what ever you are cooking, drops down through the holes in the grill and lands in the water, which means when you are finished cooking, all of the fat is sat in the water and can be disposed of easily. ...I bought this exercise DVD after reading several new year reviews in the tabloids where the reviewed new exercise DVDs and this one always came out with top marks. Also I realised the instructor was Richard Callender who did Jordan's last exercise DVD - he is very easy on the eye and was good in that DVD. So I thought what have I got to lose? But having bought the DVD I am disappointed. Richard is slightly wooden in this one. Strange seeing as Vicky is far more capable at the exercises than Jordan and has more enthusiasm. But there was just no chemistry between them and he didn't seem to be trying to make an effort and get the viewer interested in the exercise and pumped up with enthusiasm. Advantages: Looks nice
Disadvantages: Poor quality and doesn't last

...Outback BBQ's look amazing when you buy them but after a couple of years you realise they are made of impressively heavy but extremely cheap materials. Despite using a cover, regular cleaning and storage over winter rust set in and last week whilst having a BBQ the paint work around the cooking area caught fire - and we're talking major flames here - just to make it clear it wasn't fat but the paint which has now all been stripped off????? My burners have also rusted through and need replacing and the hood is also starting to rust. I thought it was just me but have subsequently spoken with friends who have had similar problems. If you want something that's nice to look at buy one - if you want one that lasts - don't bother. I'm off to buy a new BBQ and it won't be an Outback.... Read review

The Rubber tyres stop it from slipping when moving it and when cooking, it also has a brake to keep it in its chosen position. Under where the curve is cut there is a little shelf. This is where the gas bottle sits. This means when you put the BBQ away you’re also shifting the bottle. The sturdiness of the build quality means this isn’t a problem, nothing bends or moves out of shape. Advantages: Two ovens, controllable heat, brilliant gadgets
Disadvantages: hardly any but grill not being eye level can be a pain occasionally

...griddle which fits over two of the burners on the hob - allowing you to cook chops, bacon etc in quite large quantities and without the meat sitting in its own fat in a frying pan. It is quite heavy so pulling it out for occasional cleaning is not trivial but it has a knob thing on the bottom which makes it possible to do it on your own. general cleaning is fine, and there are lights in both ovens. It certainly keeps the kitchen warm when it is on - lovely in the winter,a bit much in the summer! But it is much more flexible than an aga for things like that. I get brilliant bread, cakes etc from the ovens and wouldn't part with mine for the world!... Read review

Advantages: A reasonable oven at a low price
Disadvantages: Very basic, but what you'd expect for the price

...be because I was so used to the poor performance of my previous oven. The burners for the oven are right underneath the base of the oven cavity. This means that the base gets extremely hot. Consequently, if any oil or fat drips onto the base, it burns, producing a lot of black smoke, so it always pays to put a baking sheet on a lower shelf if possible. My previous oven had the burner right at the back, so didn't suffer from this problem. The gas rings all work fine, and there are 3 different sizes with different heat output ranges. The grill is a little disappointing. The flame is a little feeble, so you really need to pre-heat the grill before you cook anything on it. The grill on my previous cooker was quite fierce, so you could start cooking things straight away. One thing to note is that if the burner of the gas rings is not quite... Read review

Added to this is a very spacious cupboard for storing sauces, tools etc. it even has a bottle holder integrated into the frame at one end to keep the gas bottle safe and facilitate easy movement of the bbq via its two wheels. The cooking plate has two parts. It comes with two standard grill frames, but a solid griddle can be purchased separately. The controls are situated on the right hand side of the main body and are clear and easy to use. Next to them is a single burner which has separate controls. This is very handy for doing beans etc, and I sometimes supplement this with a camping stove. Drainage of fat is via the bottom of the main cooking compartment which is shaped to act like a funnel, channelling the fat to drip into a replaceable tin foil tray situated in a housing underneath the bbq... ...After struggling for 3 - 5 years with a standard built in double oven, we decided it was time for a change, there are 5 of us in our family and the old cooker just wasnt big enough, nor was the halogen hob. After looking at various models in electrical shops and on the web we had narrowed the choice down to 2, the Baumatic or Indesit, both models had 5 burners, but the baumatic had 2 seperate ovens, and this was the choice we made, both were duel fuel, gas hobs and electric ovens. Our only concern was whether we would use the middle burner, which is for using with a fish kettle, as this is long and narrow We opted for the Black model of the Baumatic, which we later found out to be an Italian Import - horay for us, all that stainless steel would have been a bind to clean, although this does have a stainless steel hob. ...in one go, just call me Mrs. Wimpy!! It seems to be a healthy way of cooking as all the fat drains into the channels situated around the hot plate. A wipe over with a damp cloth after use and you can forget the greasy frying pans forever. (Eat your heart our George Forman Grill!!) THE GRILL/SMALL OVEN Now this is a new one for me. I have always cooked with gas and still declare you can’t beat a gas grill. As you might have guessed this cooker has an electric grill. Situated underneath the burners it is a compartment on it’s own. The door must be kept down when being used for grilling, which could be a little dangerous if there are toddles around.
