...I think the game is a wonderful piece of art. Smooth graphics adding to the slick football created in the best football game of all time! Fifa 08 is top class when it comes to player movement, realism, crowds, and player's faces. You just could not ask for a better FIFA package... or could we? We can all moan and have our negatives but in my opinion the only one that I have is the fact that the weather cannot be changed on the game and it must remain constant throughout. That is the only real concern as the online play is fantastic with 3 different modes that can be played. Fifa really is a must have game and is well worth the money. I recommend that you use with a HDTV as the picture is nothing short of stunning. A MUST HAVE GAME!!!... Read review

...Fifa 08 is the newest version of the official soccer game for all consoles. Since last year, Fifa 07 was an "average" and very below par to its rival competitors. It lacked realism and was very easy. This year, it is completely different, Fifa have gone back to basics with the tackling, dribbling, sprinting, shooting and everything. The buttons aren't to simple or to complex to master. Mostly everything seems to run so smoothly with the game. As well as that, last year's version the A.I difficulty was too easy to beat and the computer always seemed to do the same thing. This year, it is completely different, Fifa boasts about having more than 50 different A.I settings and the computer actually reacts to how well you are playing. Online is very enjoyable and it doesn't lag + achievemnts are quite challenging. Overall... Read review

...Fifa 08 Info I have bought every version of Fifa since 2004. The graphics have been getting better and better each year. When you play Fifa 07 and then play Fifa 08 it is extremely different, you have to get use to it. Fifa 08 I think is the best version so far EXCEPT there are loads of faults. When you are in game play and hit the ball way over the cross bar and into the crowd it says something like "keeper just knocked that one away". There are loads of faults with this part of the game and when you realise them they will get on your nerves. Ill come back to the rest of the faults later on in the review. Graphics The graphics are the best in Fifa 08 so far, you can tell most players who is who. The one bad thing is the crowd still looks rubbish. If you have a ps3 you should really consider buying Fifa 08 for that as the graphics... Read review

...The beautiful game - Football the deal is, as with all of the Fifa games is to make the game enjoyable, yet realistic. the question is, was this achieved here? the answer - yes and no. Although the game is amazing in graphics and fun to play, what it lacks is certain vital elements of the beautiful game. Can anyone score from anywhere, or from the half way line 90% of the time? i think not.. and if the ref lets play on can he still give a card? The goalkeeper has the worst physics i have ever seen, laying over the ball, diving unnecessarily and making the most stupid mistakes (that i believe are still present in Fifa 08) However that said, i play this game every day over our works network without interruption and it is fantastic fun and part of the beauty of the game is those mistakes. ...This is my first Fifa game for a number of years and I have to say I am very impressed. The game looks the part and the gameplay is impressive. The game has great offline modes, with the new Be a Pro offline training mode which is excellent. You can also pick a team of your choice from over 30 leagues and manage them to glory with manager mode. The online modes are great too, online play doesn't really get affected by lag, unlike other football games on the market. You can take part in the interactive leagues where you take control of your favorite team and face the same opponent your real life counterparts would be facing in their next fixture. Overall I feel Fifa has come a long way over the last few years and it added realism to gameplay is a must for people that like a tough challange. Like football, get FIFA 08!... Read review

...EA sports seem to have forgotten the basics in fifa 08 and concentraited on graphics. The game itself includes a lot more features and gaming modes including be a pro where you can control a single player throughout the game an shout commands to your other team mates in order for you to master the players position and abilities. EA have edged towards a more Proevo style of play reducing shot power and game speed which gave fifa the continious counter attacking speedy on edge play allowing for great multiplayer tournament with your friends. To push the graphic detail EA have dicarded some the the original camera angles which can make play much harder relying on the map to make trough balls and see where the rest of ur team is. The comentry in the game is the same old boring chit chat and doesnt bring any excitement to the game as EA... Read review

...FIFA 08 has evolved throughout the years and has had hard competition with its fellow main competitor "KONAMI". But this year it has exceeded all expectations and brought us a brand new game with new enhanced AI, new tricks, amazing graphics and always the most completed kits and names of players. By holding down L2 and moving around the right analog you can perform amazing tricks that can cut through defenders but its not always so easy... The new FIFA 08 has included many different things apart from physics and graphics, it has also included "BE A PRO" where you can control any team member from any team and you only control that player throughout the whole match and you earn experience points. Its very fun at first but can become quite dull after a bit. Online gameplay is very "sleek" and good but its often hard to find players to play... Read review

...The EA bigwings must have shat themselves when the wally with the brolly and his bunch of overpaid, overrated underachievers crashed out of Euro 2008 before the tournament even began. After all, which englishman would want to buy a football game without england in it? Well fear not beacause EA has 'cheated', letting you rewrite history by either playing through the qualifiers, or if you can't be arse'd to struggle against the likes of the mighty Andorra again, you can skip straight to the tournament itself and simply swap one of the teams for England. Unfortunately you still have to suffer the sight of the gnarly-looking, innefective McClaren on the sidelines. Game play The game play is the best I've seen yet from a football game, It is very smooth and there are many camera modes to chose from to make it comfortable for every sort of gamer. You get to play each of the seasons games and get presented with trophies at the end of it, This mode is extremely addictive. ...Being a very big fifa fan from my PS2, i was very excited about getting this game: the prospect of being able to play one of my favourate games wherever and whenever i wanted (as long as my battery was charged). Starting the game up threw me with familiar game logod like previous fifa editions, and then started the music. Obviously because of the storage space of the UMD discs, you would expect much less music too be included, although suprisingly, their isnt, with in fact quite a good soundtrack, whilst also allowing the option of playing all the music from the memory stick. I found however the game to be a little laggy, spending rather a large amount of time also sitting waiting for the loading screen. The graphics were just as good as my old PS2 fifa games which i find to be quite amazing given the size of the PSP itself... Read review
