...When keegan went to fulham i said that both city and fulham would go up to division 1 and i was write the next season i said city would win and fulham would make the play offs an i was close. but this season can they make the play-offs? i believe so! fulham may not have all the big stars but they have great courage and ability. fulham could be the next premiership team next season. but what i think is that it is so amazing how they have come from nothing to being a team that could be a very big premiership team in a couple of years. well all the best to them an i hope everyone agrees.... ...The fans of Fulham aren’t getting enough sunshine. Why? I hear you ask. Well it’s because they live in Chelsea’s shadow. They started last season on a wave of optimism and many people tipped them to get promoted into the premiership. For a while last season it looked like they could have been right. Then things started to go wrong, results went against them and they lost league position. For all the money and optimism I think Fulham have stalled and they are going to need to work hard to get their promotion push back on track.... Read review

...Well, six wins in six games, top of the league and already ten points clear of promotion favourites. not a bad start to the season id say!!! fulham in the big time! and just a couple of seasons ago they were floundering in mid table of division two. and then along came kevin keegan and things took a dramatic turn as he put them on course for promotion before skipping merrily off to take over the reigns of england. fulham have departed services with one of the best strikers in horsfield but wouldnt it be nice to see these boys in the premier league!... ...With the great 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers, it seems that Fulham are unbeatable. With a magnificent 30 points out of 30, it begs the question, who can beat Fulham? Todays victory wasn't a great feast of football, but it showed the determination of the players to succeed, a very valuable quality in any promotion chasing side. Kevin Keegans departure to pastures new now seems like a blessing in disguise, because Jean Tigana could well be the man who leads the Craven Cottage boys to Premiership glory. Lets just hope that Adam Crozier, chief executive of the premier league doesn't feel Tigana is good enough for England! I predict that Fulham will go onto to beat Crystal Palace in their next game, and pending any injuries, could well go on to 15 wins out of 15 games. Keep it up boys! ghostwriter... Read review

...I watched Fulham receive the Division 1 Championship trophy today after their match against Wimbledon. The game ended in a 1-1 draw with each side scoring a penalty, Fulham equalising in the last five minutes. The game made me wonder how Fulham will get on in the Premiership next season, there can be no doubt that they knock the ball around well and have a system in which everyone works for each other. However, I think that they need to add a couple more players to the squad to do well against the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal. I was impressed with Boa Morte today, he is a very direct striker with pace and an eye for goal. Similarly Saha is very dangerous as shown by his 32 goals in all competitions this season. ...Fulham rank very highly on my list of clubs I dislike (mostly for non playing reasons but Terry Hurlock does feature), but I have to hand it to Jean Tigana, he has assembled a very skilful team who just outplay the opposition to death. Of course it was Mickey Adams who helped kick-start the Fulham revival not Mohammed Fayed (would he have been interested if Adams didn't manage to guide them out of division 3 in 1997 without having spent any money?) Money doesn't always buy success as Paul Bracewell showed nor does it assemble a complete team - Kevin Keegan's Fulham never looked convincing as a team, even when they won Division Two by that huge margin, they were more of a collection of talented individuals. Tigana has not deviated from the methods he used at Monaco, keeping possession is the key. Moreover, he has shown good judgement... Read review

...Tigana scored an almighty own goal this week by saying he would not field a weakened side for the Worthington Cup tie against Northampton, only to do so. That his side went and lost the first leg should be a lesson as to why to pick your strongest side. It would behove Fulham to take each match as a challenge, and play their strongest line-up. They are not guaranteed a Premiership place next season, and if they are complacent in August then come March or April, they could be out of contention in the league. Going out of the league cup would be a good reminder to Fulham that they aren't big boys yet. Despite the costly signings, they still are very much in short trousers in the playground.... ...What a good side Tigana has put together. They played well against Liverpool for 90 minutes and did a credit to themselves and their coaching staff. They play in a continental style of football, keep ball, pass it around frustrate the opposition and hit them when there heads go down. They have some excellent players who going to do so well if they come up to the Premiership, with the likes of Lee Clarke, who is a premiership player, Louis Saha who’s been excellent this year and with Chris Coleman solid as a rock at the back. Fulham will do well if they go up this season. They have the financial backing of the coach and a good following. I think Fulham have done so well, when AL Fahed said he had a five year plan, who thought it would work, they have done the Wimbledon of yesterday but in a more stylish manner. Good luck...
