...I picked up my Viewsonic G90fb just this week as a present for my game mad son. The picture is pretty good overall although focus is not perfect. However at this price its performance is excellent. The blacks are very impressive and reminiscent of sony's CRTs the colour hues are rich and easy on the eye. My only criticism is that the screen display is a little darker than some monitors I have seen. In its price range though this remains an excellent monitor possible the best in its range. The screen is very flat as advertised and the controls are easy to use. There is a little distortion but you would be hard pressed to notice it. At very high resolutions though its not so hot. I had a minor difficulty installing the drivers but this was down to my relative inexperience with XP home (being 2000 pro user ) considering the price... Read review

...stayed on my fingers all day and wafted out of the bin whenever i walked past, succeeding in making me more hungry than I was before I'd had them as I just wanted to keep eating. Rispinos are being marketed as a healthy snack, especially as an alternative to crisps. To see if this was true I compared the nutriotional values to those of a packet of Walkers Ready Salted Crisps, my poison of choice. The first thing I noticed is that, whereas most products shows the nutriotional values per 100g and per packet, Rispinos show them per 100g and per 'piece', presumably thinking you won't look closely, will think the values are per packet, and thereby come to the conclusion that they're better for you than they actually are. There is also a leg rest feature which can be set at different angles, e.g. 90 degrees when the childs legs are still too short to go over the edge of the seat, or 180 degrees when the child is a little taller and their legs can then hang over the edge. I have never been able to put the brake on and make it stay on, and it is very fiddly. Putting the buggy up and down is a very simple affair, and there is a catch on the side to hold the chassis together when folded. If a lightweight, occasional buggy is what you want, then the Mistral will do the job, however I am sure there are cheaper models on the market which will do the job just as well.... Read review

The graphics may not be brilliant but I find them perfectly playable. It looks a lot better on pc and probably even better than pc on Playstation 2. When you open the packaging you have a lolly on a stick that is shaped like 3 circles joined together. The whole thing is covered in chocolate. You can get these lollys in milk, white, or dark chocolate. In my case it was white. You bite into the lolly and the chocolate is nice and thick and quite crispyfied. Beneath this you have a vanilla ice-cream which after some eating you will find very tiny balls of honeycomb. So small that you nearly miss them... Read review

The ice cream doesn't have the same exclusive appeal - it's very much 'oh look, yet another popular sweetie turned ice cream shock' - and doesn't bear a great deal of resemblance to its chocolate ball cousins, to be honest. But this summer, it's been my unexpected-hot-day ice cream of choice. It's mostly the name that has this effect. I see that red packet with the white writing, part of my brain goes "Ooh! Maltesers!" and I just can't stop myself. It's also the price; for between 90p and £1.20 depending on where you buy it, you get something that's almost as big and chocolatey as the much more expensive Magnum (60g or 90ml; presumably you measure it in ml when it's melted) - and without the feeling of being a greedy pig... Advantages: Vast area, gritty and realistic, excellent AI

...a quick bit of background about The Zone if you want it, then given your first mission and kicked blinking into the sunlight. Very quickly you are handed a pistol and sent into the fray. If ever an FPS gave the feeling of a cold, lethal, piece of metal in your hand, it was Stalker. Fire your weapon and it actually seems very dangerous. Perhaps it's just me, but this was a new experience. In the beginning events seem simple enough - danger coming from bandits, radiation and the occasional dog. But it is not long before a spreading sense of unease sets in. And the rest you will have to learn yourself! Can't wait?
