Strong hose - but how does the cart go?
Review of Hoselock Hoselock Through flow hose and cart by
oddbit
Advantages: The professional yellow hose is very robust
Disadvantages: If the snails get to the instructions before you do - the cart will never get built!
...Well, we moved back to Wales, and got a garden, so my kind loving husband (fiancée at the time) said we go for the "best" the Hoselock Through flow hose and cart, with the yellow professional hose (rather than the green hose). So a trip to Argos and the best of £50 later, one hose and cart (in pieces). - Purely for watering vegetables and a few flowers I was growing for our wedding.
I was keen to use it, so we unreeled the long hose and it just reached to where we needed it. It got moved around the large garden we rented and put up with being pulled and dumped in a heap and plenty of rough treatment - whilst the cart rested in the box, and rested and rested. Then it was winter - and oh dear the instructions had been eaten by the snails and slugs...
We moved to our smallholding, and our hose was about 15 months old. We didn't use...

Power corruption and hoses
Review of Hoselock Hoselock Through flow hose and cart by
dave27
Advantages: Very well made
Disadvantages: Prone to kinking
...have to have access to a ready water supply. The prospect of endless trips with a watering can quickly becomes one of the least attractive options and in this day and age there is really only one alternative ... THE GARDEN HOSE, you have just got to get one.
As far as garden hoses go, there is really only one name that matters and that is the marvellous Hozelock and its accessories.
When I got a hose, I went for the best one I could afford and opted for Hozelock's 30m hose and carrying cart - a real monster of a beast. I've been extremely chuffed with it and it's been of excellent value, BUT...
In retrospect, the 30m hose has been a bit of a mistake. I thought I would need that amount of pipe but it's a bit over the top and I've just got about 10m of hose that has remained curled up on the carry cart ever since I got it. Oh well...

NO GETTING KINKY IN THE GARDEN
Review of Hoselock Hoselock Spiral Hose Set by
CherryBlossom
Advantages: Easy to move around with and easy to put away
Disadvantages: Unsuitable for a large gardens
...Having no outdoor tap and an indoor tap that wasn’t designed to take a hose pipe, the only way to water our garden was by carting a watering can around.
The first year in this house that wasn’t too bad as there was nothing but weeds growing in the garden and the few plants I had in pots were easily dealt with. The second year I got ill and although I still cared for and tried to develop some of the garden, Richard, my partner was always at hand to help me out. Together, we managed.
This year, however, I got well and truly fed up with it. There are far more plants in the garden now and watering everything meant at least a couple of dozen trips from kitchen to garden, and then another two or three to do the rockery, baskets and tubs at the front. My mobility is impaired thanks to dodgy veins so there was simply no way I was going...

Iberostar Cozumel
Review of Iberostar, Cozumel by
Shane_buggins
Advantages: This hotel offers a very good diving school.
Disadvantages: The food in this hotel was good, but they had a problem keeping the food warm.
...The first thing I noticed about this hotel was after walking into the reception area. They had a large lounge area with comfortable chairs and the bar in easy walking distance. First impressions was that this was a very relaxing area.
The staff at this hotel are very friendly. After checking in the bell boy offered to take a member of are party on a golf cart, as they had a walking stick and difficulty walking. The rest of the party was also invited to jump on the golf cart with are baggage.
The hotel is surronded in very nice tropical gardens and it was nice to see all the wildlife. The hotel have a pond area where you can see lizards, parrots and flamingoes.
The beach was very nice but the water was not very easy to get into, as there seemed to be a lot of concrete in the water when first getting in. I don't if this was due...

A Covent Garden gem
Review of Maggiores, London by
MarkBrock
Advantages: Location, atmosphere, food
Disadvantages: Can get expensive if you drink a lot
...Maggiores is on King Street, just off the north-west corner of the Piazza. Walk through the door off the busy street and you will find yourself in what seems to be a very small restaurant festooned with vegetation. But beyond the bar, it opens out into a large courtyard area with a fire, so can accommodate quite a few people. This area seems to be more lively - if you want a quiet romantic meal, ask for a table near the front. There is no formal non-smoking area but few people seem to smoke, at least in the front part.
It isn't cheap - their set lunch is around £12, add a few pounds for the set dinner and a few more still if you prefer to go a la carte. Drinks can also get a bit expensive, though even the cheaper wines are very good and mineral water is fairly priced. For the area, it is very good value.
What about the food...

No.1 Storage Cart (Lap tops)
Review of Bretford Laptop Storage Cart LAPTG15KK-GM by
Dark_Indie89
Advantages: Storage stable frame
Disadvantages: No Breaks on wheels
...This is a great storage unit for any classroom lab or office if you have many laptops, the cart is made out of a strong steal, and is built on four trolly wheels witch are good if you want to store your cart 'out of the way' the strong top of the cart is stable for computers, laptops, projects ,ect. so your cart could be used as a desk or table.
the storage is superb as you can store upto 16 laptops, and have the option to charge them too.
alround the cart is realiable as i house my computer on mine, and is still as strong as when i got it.
its also easy to move, and easy to charge your laptop(s) from it.
The only thing i would improve is the wheels, although the make moving the cart easier, that some times the problem in my situation as i have my computer on it, and over time as i continue to use it, the trolly keeps moving, so i...

Not quite Mario Cart, but still good
Review of Diddy Kong Racing (N64) by
Reinhold-Messner
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
...Diddy Kong Racing is the first real competitor to Mario Cart Racing but Diddy Kong has the added feature of giving you the opportunity to race with carts, planes and hovercrafts. The graphics are generally good but the playability is probably not as good as Mario cart. There are more tracks to choose from than on Mario cart, but again looses out because many are very simple and boring and are only available to the difficult to control hovercraft and plane.
However Diddy Kong succeeds where Mario Cart fails when it comes to the single player game. It is much more structured and there is a story to follow as well as a Boss to defeat at the end of each level....

FANCY SOMETHING RICH, CLASSY AND HOT
Review of Carte Noire Coffee by
junkboxjules
Advantages: Lovely rich aroma and smooth taste, tastes like filter coffee but ready in an instant
Disadvantages: none unless you don't like coffee
...I first tried Carte Noire when I visited the Ideal Home Exhibition earlier this year. They had a promotional stand and were offering small cups of coffee to sample there and then as well as handing out money off coupons and small sample packets to take home.
As I had enjoyed the taste of the samples I decided to put the money off coupons to good use and when I next needed to purchase coffee I chose Carte Noire instead of my usual brand, Nescafe Original.
I have done a bit of research on Carte Noire coffee and have detailed below a brief history about the range.
In 1978 Frenchman René Mannier created the 'Carte' range of coffees consisting of Carte Bleue, Carte Rouge and Carte Noire. However, Carte Noire wasn't launched in the UK until 1996.
Carte Noire is made using only Arabica beans, the name Arabica comes from Arabia...
