...Ok, This review is simply to put you straight. This website claims that Cobra Golf make a golf ball. I can tell you that Cobra do no such thing. Cobra are an excellent golf manufacturer, they make clubs, bags, gloves, towels etc. however the investment in technology and research required for them to create there own golf ball has put them off the idea. Cobra has a reputation for making high quality accessories and high power clubs. Cobra's pride and joy is it's range of drivers. The best and most expensive of which is the King Cobra 440sz. I haven't used this on the course but have had the fortune of trying this weapon on the range. I can tell you, it's a pleasure. Trying a new club is always exciting but this was quite an experience. ...After purchasing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 last year and being throughly impressed I decided it was time to buy the latest edition. I was initially impressed with the new capabilites to customize characters and be able to buy official golfing merchandise. Features include being able to buy clothing, footwear, accessories as well as being able to apply piercings! Being very inexerienced with golf I was impressed by the simple layout and how it had expanded on the last edition. There is an improvement in the courses, however, many of the courses used on TWPGA Tour 2003 are used-although beneficial to those who never had that game. The commentary is witty, and there is a array of challenges and tournaments to compete in which means the game play lasts for literally years! I'm not very good though cos i only got 84yds! Each bay has two heaters (apart from no.38 cos my mate got a golf ball stuck in it so only one works!) The heaters can be operated by a switch on a post. They will go off after 20mins though but you WILL notice because you will begin to freeze :P ~~ The Venue ~~ Top Golf is hidden away but it is fully recognisable because of its white 'tent style' roof like the millenium dome. ...I had played Tiger Wood golf on the xbox and PS2 and loved it therefore I was a little bit worried that this game would be too childish and aimed at younger people just getting into computer games, however I loved it. It does not offer the same graphics and reality as Tiger Woods but the fun factor is still there. --Gameplay-- The game starts off with most of the characters and courses locked as you play the game more you will start to unlock the features. The best way to unlock these features is through the challenge mode, here you complete a variety of challenges and you will increase you player's skill level, get some player accessories and also unlock new players and courses. It was one of the first games that I bought when I got my PSP back in September 2005 and even after some solid playing time on it, it still has lots to offer and I have yet to complete it fully as well. ...Mario golf is the best game ever on the game boy color!! Even if you've never played golf before, there are 4 different courses for you to try your luck on. The 4 tournaments will keep you playing for a long time, and the extra mini games are really fun. There is even a two player mode if you link up your game boy with a mate. There are some restrictions, eg tee off times are sometimes restricted to midweek, or before 6pm etc, but are specific to each course. The web site offers links to each course which uses the offer giving details of the course, facilities, and any restrictions which apply. You buy vouchers via the website, 5 COUPONS FOR £12.50 10 COUPONS FOR £22.50 15 COUPONS FOR £32.50 20 COUPONS FOR £42.50 and one voucher can be used for either two or four golfers. I used it to visit West Lothian Golf course with three friends. The voucher cost £2.25, the fees were £38 in total, saving us £35.75. Bigger savings can be made if you visit more expensive courses.
