Wow, two cup holders!!
Review of Graco Junior by
grc72
Advantages: Light weight, cheap, cup holders and adjustable head rest!
Disadvantages: Must be strapped in even when empty
...I bought this seat some time ago when my eldest was two and a half. He is still using it nearly 5 now!
The transition from baby seat with 5 point harness was never going to be easy. I, like most mums, worried about whip lash, children undoing the buckle, being uncomfortable while asleep, you name it, I worried. However. Graco and the helpful staff at Halfords made the transition much easier.
The Graco Junior was an instant hit, mainly due to the duel cup holders-two year olds are easy to please. The adjustable head rest, side head wings, padding and belt height adjuster made me feel much easier.
The adjustable head rest means the seat can be moved upwards in accordance with your child's growth. Thus ensuring the seat belt always fits snugly against the shoulder, very important in the event of an accident. The arm rests slightly guard...

Good quality and cheap or just cheap !
Review of Graco Junior Booster Seat by
lostsworld
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: no harness
...There are a few reviews on here already but I am going to write about what I truly think.
At first impression this seat looks really nice, has a couple of feature which include drink holders either side, seat belt runners either side so you can switch to different seats and detachable covers for washing. Nice and cheap at £39.99 from most places but I believe I got mine for £34.99.
Please note that this is advertised as "Graco Junior Hi-back Booster" not a "Graco Car Seat" and there is good reason why. Quite simply it is a booster with a high back not a car seat.
It has adjustable head rest and it can be removed so you have a basic booster seat, the back rest has a little play in it or flexibility so it will fit most cars but can come apart with a little pressure. The booster is not of fixed type and does not have a harness...

you decide!
Review of Graco Junior Booster Seat by
jameslevitt
Advantages: Easy to install, good quality, adaptable
Disadvantages: it does not have a harness
...When our 2 year old son grew too big for his car seat (the type you can carry and attach to a pram) we went in search of an alternative!
We came across the Graco Junior, priced at £39.99 (argos) it seemed reasonably priced in comparison to others we had looked at and the quality seemed to match if not exceed higher priced alternatives with similar safety aspects so we decided to buy!
We feel we made the right choice, our son loves it, the little cupholders that retract on either side are very usefull, there are two, both serve their purpose but one is used for hiding sweets and toys and such like from big sister! and seems to occupy a lot of my sons time whilst making tedious journeys to the supermarket etc! it`s quite trendy looking and so it doesn`t ruin my street cred by displaying namby pamby pastel coloured check material...

* Are you sitting comfortable? and Safe? . .
Review of Graco Children's Products Hi Life Junior Booster by
smudgeybabes
Advantages: Cheap, easy to fit, light.
Disadvantages: None.
.... .
First - this is what the UK law states :-
All children below 135cm or 4ft 5 ins (and younger than 12 years old) are required by law to travel in an appropriate child restraint, with a fixed penalty of £30 for parents who don't comply.
History of the company:-
Graco is a worldwide company that has been on the go for nearly 60 years now. It was actually called Graco Metal Products when set up in Philadelphia, USA, making machine and car parts for local manufacturers.
Forward facing booster seats, suitable for children from 15 to 36kg (33-80lbs) are a common sight in cars. The idea is that they Lift the child to the correct height for an adult seat belt, The contoured design and light weight, make them easy to transfer from one car to another.
At the moment they are available in Pink or Blueberry as they call it, I say Navy Blue...

In general pretty good
Review of Graco Children's Products Junior Mini by
Ollipops267
Advantages: Very comfortable
Disadvantages: Strap is very stiff to tighten
...get the hang of it does get easier. Finally, I haven't really experienced this as he is still rear facing, but once he is forward facing and can be reclined, the recline does seem very 'clunky'. I'm not sure whether he is likely to stay asleep when doing this, but we'll soon see.
In general I do like the seat, it is well made, as you would expect from Graco, and therefore feel safe putting my son in it....

And straight into the queens chair she sits...
Review of Graco Junior by
Katie3410
Advantages: Easy to fit, very safe, comfortable, adjustable headrests, 2 cupholders, armrests, this list goes on...
Disadvantages: None
...My daughter loves this chair...
For months i was driving around with my daughter with no carseat at all, i thought it would be better than putting her in the cheap booster seat that her father provided. Not realising the great danger i was putting her in. She hated it, she would undo her seltbelt, stand up while i was driving so she could see out of the window, she would kick and scream until the journey was over.
Then one day after the guilt set in, i went to mothercare. I always thought after a child gets to a certain age, you didnt need to visit mothercare anymore. Mothercare is brilliant for carseats of all ages, and there it was the carseat that i knew she'd like, the carseat of all carseats, the graco junior.
My daughter is 3 years old and when she saw me put this chair on the floor so she could "try it on for size", she...

How easy ? even my mum can use it!
Review of Graco Junior Booster Seat by
REIDSMUM
Advantages: Easy to instal, grows with the child, handy drinks holders.
Disadvantages: haven't found any!
...This seat is great, so great that my sister and I both have them. I used to have a maxi cosi Priori but when I went to a smaller car ( and even in the big car!) I would find I would bang my son's head getting him in as the sides were so high so I bought the graco seat instead. Wish I'd bought it earlier!
My son was about 30 months when I got this seat and I had a couple of days of him trying to get out as it only has the shoulder seatbelt and not a harness like in his earlier seat but after being told the policeman would tell him off if he didn't wear it it hasn't been a problem!
The seat is so easy to install just put it on the seat and feed the belt through the red clips and your done take 30 secs if that. The great thing is as well that if you need to drop the back seats on a hatch back the seat actually fits between the back...

Smart. practical and safe!
Review of Graco Children's Products Junior Maxi by
kingfisher111
Advantages: Smart, practical and safe
Disadvantages: none
...Getting the right car seat is so important for your children's safety and it is one of the areas where I don't mind spending a little bit more money in order to get the right one. There is not much difference in age between our two daughters, so we found ourselves recently with the need to be buying replacement car seats for both of them. As they are now both over three, there was no longer any need to get ones with a five point harness, but what I did want to do was to get ones which would last them all the way through to the time when they will no longer need one and would be safe.
I looked in quite a lot of places but eventually found the graco junior maxi car seat at boots.com for£39.99. You can seats for less than this, but as these seemed to do what I wanted I thought they were worth the price.
The first thing I noticed...

And all because of the Cupholders!
Review of Graco Junior Booster Seat by
wendybull
Advantages: Uses the cars own seatbelts
Disadvantages: A bit tricky trying to feed seatbelts through
...We brought the Graco Junior Hi Back Booster chair because our daughter had just grown out of her new born car seat and needed to upgrade to my son's seat at the time. He therefore needed a big boy car seat that was more grown up but still safe for him to ride in the car in.
After checking all the safety features and narrowing the selection down to about three varieties of seats (and making sure they fitted in both our cars) we settled on this one simply due to the fact that it had a retractable cup holder on either side of the seat part and we knew that our son would find this really cool. As he suffered quite badly with travel sickness he would always carry a bowl and a bottle of water whenever we travelled anywhere so the cup holders were in fact very useful.
The seat is essentially made up of two parts, the seat and the back...
