...I recently moved my little boy (21 months) from a cot to a bed and as he’s such a fidgety sleeper we felt a bed safety guard was a must. After looking around at the various bed guards available I decided on the Tomy Soft Bed Guard, based on several factors:  This was one of the few bed guards that was suitable for a slatted bed – my son has a cot bed and so it has a slatted base.  It comprises a soft mesh panel (similar to the Tomy stair gates) and so I felt he was less likely to wake himself up/hurt himself if he rolled into it in the night. He also as he has a tendency to drum his feet against the ends of his bed when he wants attention which he wouldn’t be able to do against the mesh.  It easily folds down whilst on the bed for reading bedtime stories and folds up small for going on holiday. Advantages: The best comic fantasy I've ever read, Funny and smart.
Disadvantages: Not everyone shares his sense of humour

...Guards! Guards! was the first Discworld novel I read and I still think that it is the best one that Pratchett has written. Pratchett is a comic fantasist and is genuinly funny. Despite the fantasy setting there is a realism to the characters that few authors acheive and although sometimes he is sometimes over the top you always feel close to them. The plot concerns an attempt to dipose the Patrician of Ankh-Morpork and replace him with a King. The main characters are the City Night Watch and of these it is Captain Vimes that is the hero. Needless to say the book is funny and the main humour is derieved from the incompetence of the watch which is contrasted with the efficency of Carrot their latest recruit. Advantages: No fragrance irritation
Disadvantages: dull packaging

...At last - a deodorant spray that doesn't irritate us sensitive types ! RightGuard Double Protection Unperfumed spray is ideal if you, like me , strive to avoid the daily coughing and spluttering caused by your fragrant deodorant. It does not sting and is very gentle. My only criticism is that the packaging design is rather masculine for a unisex product. It is moderately priced. This is an effective spray that works all day long, and what a breath of fresh air (literally!) that it is not perfumed. Thank you Right Guard!... Read review

...I decided to try Right Guard rollon because I was impressed with the way that the Right Guard aerosol worked, but disliked the spray hanging around in the air, which gets in your throat and mouth.
