Advantages: You pays your money....., good for tricks, good value, looks cool
Disadvantages: A little expensive for beginners

...Two of my friends recently purchased Hot Buttered body boards and they are extremely happy. One at £90 and one at £80 seems a bit expensive but they have definitely noticed the difference. The boards are lighter, easier to turn and do tricks on. They are both Terminator T3s 10-90 (43”) and are Hot Buttered’s proven performers over three summers. The crescent shaped tail allows more control and acceleration through turns. The shape, build and weight also means more straight-line speed and thus more waves! The T3 also has the HB PE Diamond Core, apparently revolutionary in body board technology. See below for the science bit! This is a brilliant board, the difference is there and you will not be disappointed with the performance of the T3. ...So i was strolling around Holland & Barrett a couple of days ago, having a general browse in the food section, when my friend picked up a liquorice bar. Ooh! I didn't realise liquorice was medicinal, and available in H&B! So the particular product in question is the small bar, costing 32p (probably about 20-30g). They come in strawberry and raspberry flavours and are delicious! You see, i don't like black liquorice. Never have. When i was offered Liquorice Allsorts i'd always go for the pink or blue buttons! I recently saw the new Fruit Allsorts, but as the reviews on Ciao say, they are far too sweet and can make you rather nauseous! This is why the H&B product is the perfect alternative: *It's a good price for a snack *It curbs the sweet cravings *It comes in 2 flavours *It's MEDICINAL - apparently diuretic, expectorant, laxative... ...I have read conflicting reports on breadmakers in all sorts of places.Having decided to take the plunge after pressure from my wife!-I am now a complete convert. Talk about easy- no kneading, standing, mixing or mess. you just dump all the ingredients in (following supplied recipe book)set the timer and thats all there is to it. What a great smell to greet you on waking in the morning and it tastes wonderful too. The Hinari HB154 was my choice because it was one of the cheaper models and i thought if it turned out to be a waste of money I hadnt been stung to badly. I should have had more faith- its always on in our house and I say that if you are considering buying a breadmaker- dont be put off - just do it- you wont regret it.... Read review

...I should fess up at the very beginning of this review and say that I used to work in the health food industry. I never worked for H+B though, and I'm not one of their biggest fans. Good Points: H+B is *cheap*. 99p vitamins cheap. They have a wide selection of products, and more recently they have improved their Sports Nutrition range - i.e products for bodybuilders and athletes. Larger stores also sell bodycare products as well as the supplements and food. The staff I have encountered have been largely friendly and polite. The stores are well-laid out and labelled. Bad Points: You have to wonder how they can sell vitamins for 99p when they are 3 times as expensive elsewhere. Part of it is that they are a big chain that manufactures its own products. ...On the first aisle are Starbuys and haircare products. The second aisle has beauty products, medicines, baby care and clothing. The third aisle has stationary including books and dvd's. The fourth aisle has cleaning products and pet products. The fith aisle has food and the sixth aisle has sweets and pop. Above these aisles are 6 smaller aisles with homeware and toys on the back wall. Below the main aisles is the alcohol section and the tills. The prices are very cheap but heres some examples of bargains: -licorish allsorts (Bassets) 5p - one off -coca cola 3L 99p - regular -coca cola 500ml bottle 10p - one off - easter egg (top brand) 7.99 in sainsburys, 2.99 in HB - 2 colgate toothpaste large tubes for 1.20 - regular - U2 book, told by a customer that this book was sold in Borders for 60 quid, sold in HB for 2.99 - 4 pack muffins 29p... ...it economic I usually made at least four loaves - two of which would usually go hard before we could get round to eating them. Then one day in a fit of indulgence, having seen the Hinari HB161 in Tescos for £29.99 - bought one. Well it was only a basic one - so I wasn't being too naughty. THE HINARI HB 161 The Hinari HB 161 is a very simple machine - consisting of a plastic box with a heating element and small motor in the bottom on top of which is placed a bread tin. At the bottom of the tin is a small blade (which is removable for cleaning) that acts to knead the dough. There are 6 simple programs which enable you to make a surprisingly large range of breads, cakes and doughs. Operating the Hinari HB161 is very easy and the instruction booklet is very comprehensive and easy to follow. One word of warning - follow the instructions... Read review

Advantages: Has special times for different tastes, plenty of features and really good.
Disadvantages: Some people may not like some of the humour or some of the music at the st times.

...Radio 1 is easily the best radio station in my area. There are never any adverts like on the local staions and there is always a decent song on if you have a wide view about different types of music, weather it be rock, dance, indie, r&b, garage, punk etc. There are also the best dj's in the country. My favourite being Chris Moyles who is on 3 - 5 every weekday and 10 - 1 every saturday. Other decent djs are Steve Lamaq, John peel, dave pearce, emma b, sarah hb and many others. They all have their own set which last for 2hrs on average. Overall, i can't really see why we need any other staions because there all crap compared to this. Excellent in everyway!... Read review
