...What a great game ! ! ! It has brilliant graphics, and it combines colours and sounds to create a perfect ambience. The gameplay is unbelievable and allows the user to fly anything from classic Spitfires to the Concorde ! ! ! It not only allows the user to fly these planes, but also allows the user to fight using them aswell. I downloaded a Harrier Jumpjet off the internet, and now can use it against numerous enemys. This is a brilliant game and I really do recommend it. This is one of the few games which is actually better on the second attempt. I really would recommend you to buy it ! ! !... Read review

...The name sounds like it has great potential - of all the flight sims out there, no one has seemed to have done one on Harriers? Well after firing it up, the usual lifetime waiting for it to load was filled by an incredibly boring and irritating screen with 'LOADING' flashing on and off, no indicator or anything. When the menu finally loaded there is a nice picture in the background of a Harrier on VSTOL takeoff, but the menu itself is bland and disappointing. Sound on the menu is also annoying, and you can't turn it off! It has those stupid clunks that really get on my nerves! Anyway once into the game (you have a limited range of options on how you start off) you get all excited. Your aircraft starts in the air, so you don't get to takeoff. The controls are simple, but then so is the game. Your aircraft is sluggish, difficult to control... Read review

Columns : This puzzle game is great you can sit playing it for hours and not realize how long you've been there, with the game originally being on the Sega mega drive, the background music gets a bit repetitive but I think that's great, that's how I used to irritate my dad back in the day. This game is a 1 or 2 player game so you can challenge your friends if you wish and it is really really fun! If you like games like Tetris you'll love this game. ...Twelve months ago there were approximately 40,000 opinions on Ciao in total, and out of that 40,000, wanna know how many were about lawnmowers? Twelve. That's all. How feeble is that? So, in an effort to start the ball rolling on a 'lawnmower awareness campaign', I penned a review of my trusty Hayter Harrier 56. A year on, however, and things don't seem to have improved. Sure, the total number of opinions has swelled to a whopping 2.6 million, but reviews of lawnmowers still stand at...wait for it, a lousy, measly, pathetic thirty four. THIRTY FOUR! Out of 2.6 million! And the opinion that I wrote is STILL the most recent entry for the Hayter Harrier! Don't you people have lawns? I suppose it could be worse, it could still be stuck at twelve but there's still plenty of room for improvement here. And besides, if I read one more opinion... Read review

...be avoided, all you need is a decent mower in the first place and you could do a lot worse than the Hayter Harrier. "What do you know about lawnmowers Howie, you're a film-nerd?" Well yeah, that's true but don't forget that I am (by day, anyway) a landscape gardener and between March and September I spend pretty much all day, every day walking behind a lawnmower. It pays to have decent equipment. Before I go any further, I think that the categories for the various models of Harrier need a little clarification. Ciao has twelve different sub-categories for the Hayter Harrier, but these are all essentially the same machine with some slight variations in size and specification. Advantages: Very Entertaining

...This film is a typical action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as spy who leads a double life, deceiving his wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) into thinking he is a Computer Salesman. He works for a top secret US Government agency that is constantly battling enemies of the state, especially terrorists. The film focuses around Nuclear Terrorism and Arnie's efforts to foil their plan to attack US cities. The action is top class and the special effects are stunning and are what you would expect from a film by James Cameron (Terminators 1 and 2). The storyline is reasonably good and is well delivered by the cast. Some parts are unbelievable though, you'll know what I mean when you see the Harrier Jump Jet rescue at the end of the film. Advantages: Good gameplay, none stop action, easy to use
Disadvantages: CAN be frustrating, exactly like other games in series

...Nuclear Strike: this is a superb sequel to it's predesesor SOVIET STRIKE. Although the graphics and overall gameplay is pretty much the same, new sound effects and weapons make it the best STRIKE game out there. In this game, you take command of an Apache attack helicopter, and use it to rescue people, collect items, and generally make a mockery of your enemies. As you progress you also get the opportunity to pilot other vehicles such as; hovercrafts, Hewey helicopters, and a harrier jump jet. These make the game stand out and make a nice change from just flying around in a helicopter!! The game is made more challenging by introducing fuel, ammo, and armour limitations. Advantages: Fantastic action scenes, some great special effects and brilliant sound work
Disadvantages: Pretty much everything else, including Travolta's horrific acting and the miserable plotline

...of them are totally inexcusable. For instance, these "man-animals," which are really precious little more than advanced primates, learn how to pilot Harrier planes in under seven days. While they're at it, they also learn how to operate machine guns, SAM launchers, and nuclear devices in that same week. Which would be a feat for us normal humans, but it's especially ludicrous for these dirt people, who just a week prior had considered the spear and flint and steel to be the absolute zenith of technology. As a special bonus, Hubbard's Harrier jets can hover in midair for extended periods of time. A Harrier is a VERTOL, VERtical Take-Off and Landing, vehicle. Harriers are not hovercrafts!
