We wanted to have helium balloons tied to the tables and the original plan was to rent a helium canister and buy some helium balloons but this worked out quite expensive. Fortunately whilst browsing Asda I came across a bright green box with ‘Balloon Time’ written on the front and pictures of kids holding helium balloons. Upon further examination I realised that the box contained everything you need to make up to 30 helium balloons. It cost £20 so we brought two boxes. The box contained 30 assorted colour 9” latex helium balloons, a light weight helium canister and a spool of ribbon. ...I joined Helium when I was temporarily banned from a consumer review writing site for reasons unknown and was bored. A lot had been made about this site on one of the satellite sites, so I joined up in interest to kill a few hours. After all, a new site must have something worth offering a consumer reviewer with six years experience, should it? My initial impressions were very favourable. The site is easy to look at, avoiding garish colours, and well presented. As a non-member, I immediately saw a lot of topics that I was interested in and the site seemed to focus on quality of your work rather than your reputation. It's slightly different to other review writing sites out there in terms of layout and navigation, but while not perfect, is still fairly easy to use. One of the most attractive aspects of Helium is that you can write and publish articles on almost any topic that interests you. Down the left-hand-side of the home page you will find a list of twenty-five channels ranging from Arts & Humanities through Food & Drink to Local Guides or Style & Beauty. Click on any one of these and it will show you a list of sub-channels; for example, within Arts & Humanities there are ten sub-divisions such as Dance, Languages, Museums & Galleries and Visual Arts. ...Helium is a fairly new site where you can write articles for cash, there are lots of subjects/channels you can write these articles on so just about everyone should be able to think about an article to write about.... I found it pretty straight forward and fast to set up an account and the layout of the website is fairly simple to understand & to find my way around but it definately could be a little bit better i feel..
