A point and shoot for professional results
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 by
stevieray
Advantages: Build quality & X10 zoom
Disadvantages: Heavy and thirsty on battery life.
...Like all point and shoot cameras the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 has it's limitations, but in my opinion that is a good selling point. As a professional photographer I sometimes need the simplicity of a P&S to help capture a moment without over complicating it with loads of hi-tec equipment.
The DCM-TZ3 is one of the easiest cameras I have ever used and the image quality is easily good enough for anything the home user would need and more. I took one of these on a trip to South America recently and I'm earning money from those picures already.
The 7.2 megapixel sensor means you can print up to poster size photos with good definition and the X10 zoom lens is remarkable for a camera that can still fit in your pocket. The dials are dead easy to use and it also has video with sound.
Yes it's a little heavy, but this is due to a good build...

Good News For the Credit Card
Review of JJB Sports (Shop) by
richardjmeek
Advantages: can shoot Loops
Disadvantages: None
...In these days of soaring prices of all sports brand names, JJB have got it right they appear to be on average the cheapest sports shop on the high st.
JJB are nearly every where they are in mnost city centres and now offer out of town stores.
Both Branches in liverpool have basket ball courts for you to try out prospective sports gear to see if they are the right ones for you, also its an ice break to shoot some loops as a break from spopping.
JJB Supply the latest Trends in sportswear as well as lots of last years brands at very reduced prices particulary HiTEc brand which in my experience are very good quality shoesand can cost as little as £15.
Out of all the sports shops in liverpool and i assume elsewhere that jjb offer the biggest variety of sports wear and nearly always have all sizes in stock.
JJBN staff are always helpful...

Not Jonathan's King
Review of King of Shaves Kinexium Advanced Shaving Gel by
jonathancowley
Advantages: the next generation of hi-tec superlative shaving
Disadvantages: doesn't work (or is it just me?)
...to the marketing waffle on the back, this is the next generation of shaving gels, taking shaving to "a new level of performance". This is because it is a "hi-tec siliconised gel", meaning that the glide of the blade over the skin is "superlative".
INGREDIENTS
Perhaps the most scary-sounding list of ingredents I have ever seen - I'm pretty sure that some of these so-called "ingredients" are actually Pokemon characters (eg. Cyclomethicone, Barbadensis). Other notable ingredients are castor oil, menthol and the trip-off-the-tongue melaleuca alternifolia.
SMELL
I've got the metholated version of shaving gel, so the smell is pretty potent. As Dominic2001 rightly pointed out in his op, you do end up smelling like you have overdosed on cough sweets.
IS IT ANY GOOD?
With all this talk of the next generation of mentholated superlative hi-tec gel...

TIME ITS THE DOGS B------KS
Review of Time Computers (Shop) by
agentcooper59
Advantages: good value, ideal for novice users, good service
Disadvantages: could buy cheaper if computer literate
...Writing as a novice ,thats how i would best describe me ,as regard to the computer no alls,i can find very little to complaine about since having purchased a time computer.
The package itself was well over £1500 pounds but have had no problems at all with the unit.
I find the sevice very good and as regards to the delivery and backup support i have recived.
It is true to say that the soft ware is lacking a whole pile of instruction books but who reads them anyway,as most of the software is selfexplanatory.
And as with most programmes these days a help file is always on hand, and as most new comers to the hi tec family it was not long before i crashed the system, but no worry just a quick insert of a recovery cd, and everthing was back to the same as when i purchased it.
It can be said that the value for money time shout about ,is true i...

Review of VW Jetta 1.5 by
wilsam00
Advantages: a good solid car
Disadvantages: none
...My Dad owned one of these cars a while back now but i still clearly rerember evelything about it it was a dark red d regd Jetta 1.5, i think with average peformance, mpg and reliability! Fuel averaged about 40-45 mpg and peformance was fairly good but poor against all these new modern hi tec engines! it got a top speed of only about 105 but thats 'loose ya licence speed' so it was rarley achieved
Comfort was average but below average compared to his later car a Rover 827 sli! it often was used to travel from London to the south of Scotland with a car full of people with no complaints at all!
The car is now worth around £300 but its getting on a bit now but its still a good solid car as my Brother found out when a stolen Nova ploughed into it at about 40 mph but amazingly it was not a write off!
The car has a acceptable...

JJB Sports
Review of JJB Sports (Shop) by
CADiaper
Advantages: Cheap, Good Quality, Vast Range, Good Brands
Disadvantages: None
...I'd be suprised if you hadn't heard of JJB, they have become very big competitors of other stores in the past few years and nearly cut out all the competition.
JJB was originally formed in 1971 but I don't it really become huge until about 1998, by this time they had over 410 stores across the nation.
They sell:
Sports Clothes
Footwear
Exercise Equipment
Football, Rugby kits
Bikes
& Golf Equipment...at incredibly low prices.
The brands include:
Nike
Adidas
Reebok
Puma
Hi-Tec
Kappa
LCS
Patrick
Umbro...
... and many more.
All of their products are of decent quility and I personally think the prices are reasonable. It's good for getting P.E kits for school.
They do seem to be on a downfall though, Sports World/Sports Direct have slashed their prices up to 80% of the retail price and are overtaking, people might think that's great...

Biorb - The Hi Tec Fish Bowl
Review of Biorb by
stinky2
Advantages: Easy to maintain - eyecatching design
Disadvantages: Bit more pricey than normal aquariums
...I had always wanted an aquarium but thought that it would be too much trouble to set up and look after. I entered a competition on the web to win an aquarium and lo and behold I actually won one. An aquarium called a Biorb made by a company called Reef One.
With this aquarium there was a difference. The Biorb combines the looks of a traditional gold fish bowl with the performance of a hi-tech aquarium. It holds 30 litres of water and has it's own built in filtration system which provides maximum benefits to both the fish and the fish keeper.
The globe shaped design is truly eye-catching and very stylish. It is made out of Plexiglas acrylic which is nearly 10 times stronger than glass and because of its large water capacity it provides the fish with approximately 10 times more space than a traditional bowl.
The filtration system...
