....70GHz It comes built in with Windows Vista Home Premium As a whole this laptop is great and runs works and fells good, very reliable and sturdy, the widescreen is excellent to watch DVDs on and if you just need the internet and word for buisness this is a very good little laptop for a cheap price. The price carnt realy be beaten! As HP is a trusted reliable brand and guarentees excellent customer service on and offline, much reccommended by me than getting a cheaper 'fugitsu' laptop crap.. Only set backs realy are that the battery life isnt that brilliant compared to other laptops around and is a bit of an energy sucker. The wireless internet switch can sometimes be accidently switched if typing but nothing major and i think that an addition of a webcam would complete this little machine. Advantages: Cheap Starter PC

...The Compaq Presario 700 series is one of their biggest selling "home" laptops, how do I know this I here you ask, well I worked for Compaq on their Presario Technical Support line. The 700's are a good laptop, if your new to the PC scene, but don't expect great things from them. They have an average spec for the price, but the build quality is not the best in the world. The software bundled with the 700's is fine for the majority of users (XP Home, MS Word, MS Works) amongst others. Although I would recommend ditching Works and getting a full version of Office as it offers much more flexibility. As I said earlier the spec is average, and fine for most beginners, however the quality of the components leaves a lot to be desired. ...headphone jacks (great for watching a film with girlfriend/boyfriend) and Lightscribe feature which enables you to burn DVDs. Only negative would have to be the battery life, which is around 2.5 hours and the fact that it does warm-up a fair bit after prolonged use. USB cable for connecting camera to printer, user manualm user's manual on CD, CD with hp image zone software for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, hp memories disc creator, and ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3.5. and a wrist strap. I was easy to get started and learn how to use the basics, so you can start clicking away taking your photos. the photos come out very clear - though sometimes its hard to get the lighting right with the auto flash, which can make the photo come out a little dark. ...HPs first attempt at a mobile phone with mobile PC features, rather than their usual iPaq handhelds, with he phone as an afterthought. This phone is extremely useful and comes with lots of useful features. Running windows mobile, it has all the things you'd come to expect, MS word, excel, powerpoint etc, Wireless, bluetooth, IR, etc. Classic iPaq games like bubblebreaker are included. You can set it to use VOIP (e.g. skype) when using the wireless network to cut communications costs. I find this particulary useful when travelling to download my business emails using IMAP setup. The camera is fairly standard and voice activation is fairly difficult to get to work, unless you have a monotone voice!! ...I bought my Hewlett Packard iPAQ H2210 Pocket PC two weeks ago; inside the box you can find the following: The PDA itself, a cradle, a charger, supplied case and a charger converter. It looks very small indeed and it is made from plastic and feels pretty solid, it has some rubber grips to protect your PDA just in case it falls down. The screen of the h22219 is pretty clear it has a 3.5 screen capable of displaying 320x240 screen resolution. Right in the middle of the screen is where you can find the HP logo and the power button and at the left of the HP logo is where the Bluetooth indicator lies in. Right on top of the h2210, you will find the microphone and the headphones slot (the standard 3.5 mm) to the left side. The stylus silo is on the right of the unit and is not spring-activated as with the Compaq iPAQs. At the back... Read review

If you're after a fully automatic point and shoot to carry around in the daytime or evening when your bulkier DSLR or bridge camera is back at home or the hotel - and you can't afford the premium point-and-shoot likes of a Canon IXUS - then this HP - not usually known as a 'cool' brand in any respect - comes recommended. The family user or the beginner appears to be the one who will get the most out of the HP R837 - it's simple enough for the kids (or my mother!) to operate and fun too. The battery holds the charge okay and the picture quality for 7 x 5 shots is fantastic (haven't tested the A4 size ones though). It's perhaps only a shame that HP didn't make it water or shockproof. ...of the lap top are the older style printer sockets, two USB sockets, power lead socket & what looks like two 'S Video' sockets. From day one battery life was pretty good with about two hours from the battery, but six months after I first got it, HP announced a safety recall on the batteries. My replacement battery arrived with days of ordering it but when it was fitted it wouldn't hold a charge, not even enough to switch the machine on. I contacted HP by their web site but after sending five messages that they didn't reply to I contacted the UK office. They informed me to contact HP direct in the USA as the recall was being handled by them & despite no answers to five emails they would eventually reply. Another five emails & another five ignored, I had to end up getting my company to threaten them with legal action before a replacement battery... Read review
