Indoor cats
This review is about the indoor cat food.
I have two cats one who is 5 and the other is 8 months , the older one likes going out , but the little one hates the idea of it and won,t go outside, i open the door and he runs the other way lol.
So when i saw this cat food in somerfield , i thought it would be ideal , it was on offer two 375g boxes for 1.25.
Normal price is around a pound and you can buy it from most supermarkets .
~ The cat food ~
The food itself are small in size and look like little balls and pellets , they are brown, orange and green .
The smell wasn,t too bad , not like some of the cat foods out there , it doesn,t smell like meat and its not a nasty smell its like a wholemeal smell, hard...

A Cosy Effect
Review of Astem Halogen Plant Light by
Sharl
Advantages: Cheap to buy, economical to run and creates a gorgeous effect
Disadvantages: None...as long as you follow the safety instructions
...a difference.
The effect of this lighting is gorgeous.I use mine in a large indoor plant(note that these lights are for indoor use only)an Areca Palm Chrysalidocarpus. The combination of plant and lighting produces a truly wonderful effect in the corner of the lounge where it is placed.
So to the lights:-
You have two pre-wired 10watt halogen lightbulbs, each in a plastic cone shaped casing attached to a plug-in transformer which houses an on/off switch. All you need to do is place the lights in the soil at the foot of the plant, plug the transformer into the wall socket and that's it!
Some safety advice to follow:-
Remove the lights from the plantpot when you water the plant...which goes without saying, but incredibly important never-the-less. And don't allow children to play near the plant when in use because the bulbs can become hot.
I can...

Enormous city centre market.
Review of Doncaster in General by
daseaford
Advantages: Great mixture of shops
Disadvantages: Spend lots of money.
...Doncaster has a very comprehensive shopping area around the city centre with a great mixture of small shops, large department stores and the indoor/outdoor market.
It is claimed that Doncaster has the largest market in the north of England and I can certainly believe that. The market is a mixture of indoor and outdoor markets with a terrific range of products and produce with many bargains and unusual items. Market days are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Around the rest of the city centre the majority of the roads are pedestrianised during shopping hours and there is currently a scheme being implemented called “Quality Streets”. This scheme aims to introduce better lighting, sculptures, seating and generally a much better shopping environment throughout the whole city centre area. In the parts that have been completed...

A good little camera
Review of Kodak Advantix T550 AF Camera by
sheff22
Advantages: Stylish Looks, Very compact, Low power usage
Disadvantages: None that I can find
...Ive had my Kodak T550 for about a year now and I can honestly say I’m very happy with it, It’s relatively cheep to purchase and has several really useful features that you would often find on more expensive cameras. There are several setting for the flash allowing you adjust for light in a variety of situations, e.g. Indoors, scenery etc. It also has the benefit of reduced red eye due to he position of the flash. The T550 comes with a timer so that you are able to take self pic's, and a time and date option. The power usage of this camera is excellent, as I have had the product for over a year and am still on the original battery. All in all the T550 is a very good camera for the price....

Great Camera
Review of Fujifilm MX 1700 Zoom Digital Camera by
Charles
Advantages: Picture quality outdoors, design, size
Disadvantages: Grease marks on LCD
...I researched this quite thoroughly before buying as I wanted a camera mainly for outdoor use (holiday pics, etc) and a number of reviews praised the MX 1700 for this.
I've just used the camera for three weeks in California in really strong light and the results are excellent on the 640 x 480 resolution and the larger size.
The results indoors are acceptable.
The design of the camera is great but takes a while to get used to because of the small size and its shape.
The only negative point on usage is grease marks from your nose on the LCD but this is a problem with most digital cameras (I believe).
Overall I'd give this a definite thumbs up...

Polaroid PDC 3035
Review of Polaroid PDC 3035 by
marcio_silva16
Advantages: Really light, fairly good image quality.
Disadvantages: Not so good for shooting indoors, and quite a big camera.
...This is the Polaroid PDC 3035 digital camera, its a basic point and shoot digital camera with a built in flash and a 3.2 mega pixel image resolution. Also has video recording with sound and 1.5 inch LCD screen on the back and has a SM memory card slot, also with a USB cable to plug it up to your PC and is powered by 4 x AA batteries.
This camera has quite a fair image quality when shooting outside but shooting indoors, the image comes out sometimes very dark or completely black. The other thing that i didnt like about this camera is that it is quite a big camera but very light. Even though this camera has its bad points I have to say that I took alot of good pictures with it and had alot of fun while doing it....

Great little camera bursting with features
Review of Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60 by
immortal_pheebs
Advantages: slim, light, zoom, high resolution, video, large LCD screen, value for money
Disadvantages: small on/off key, no full paper instruction manual (environmentally friendly though)
..., you end up having a photo with a dark silhouette, but this is different.
Secondly, an anti-shake mode means action shots are easier than before. Also, sometimes you might want to take photos indoors without flashing the bright flash at people's shiny faces. But you find that you turn off the flash and the photos become blurry. This is because of the lack of light AND the movement of the camera. I find that, with anti-shake, even with low light level and no flash, photos come out much better. No more shiny faces indoors!
In sum, a great little camera with lots more features. Really easy to use and so perfect for beginners (it even comes with an EASY MODE). Use with an SD card (I have 1 GB - that gives you around 230 photos!). Long life battery too....

Picooz micro IR Helicopter
Review of Silverlit Micro RC PicooZ Helicopter by
zhgutas
Advantages: Unbreakable, small
Disadvantages: Too light, hard to control
...I got this one from my girlfriend as a present for something, since I was talking about RC helicopters quite for a while then. I will try to mention pro's & cons as briefly as i can:
PROS: Light, quick charge, small enough for indoor use, sufficient battery life (control), literally unbreakable, easy to modify (great fun!) - just add weights (pins) or sticky tape.
CONS: Too light to be used outdoors (wind), reacts too greatly to its own air waves (lowering to the ground shakes the Picooz), pretty hard to control, flying forward requires skill, noisy vibrations of the gear (appears in the middle of a speed range) impedes flight direction, precision of control changes gradually with battery discharging, no use of a LED light "for night time flight".
However, all in all it is fun toy to have, and if you are bothered by those cons- just...

Good Start
Review of Sony Mavica MVC FD73 by
infisio
Advantages: Use of Floppy Disks
Disadvantages: Lighting is poor
...Sony has a wonderful concept with this camera. Floppy disks are practically free these days, so there is virtually no cost for "film". I have another digital camera, but the memory card makes it very inconvenient for traveling. Whenever the card is full you have to download the photos to your laptop, or buy extra cards. With the Mavica - you just bring along a box of disks. Each disk holds about 24 pictures on Fine resolution, and about 40 with Regular resolution. The downfall is that the lighting is very difficult to get right. Pictures in broad daylight, outside, come out fine, BUT if you take pictures indoors or in low-light, the pictures come out really dark. The flash floods the photo in white, and washes out the picture, and the exposure feature is difficult to use - I never got the hang of it. Unfortunately - I bought...

Review of Samsung Digimax 800k by
andyandyandy
Advantages: Cheap, small
Disadvantages: poor flash
...The Digimax has now come down in price to around £100 (Curreys were selling it for £150, but dropped the price to £95 without a quibble when I told them I could get it elsewhere for that)
Picture quality is fine but the flash is less than brilliant. The camera is very light dependant, takes great pictures in good light (100ASA rating), but it's decidedly iffy in poor light. The flash has a very limited range, get too close and it's whiteout, too far away and you don't notice it was switced on - stated range is 1.3 -2 metres which aint much!
Picture resolution is 1024X758 which is good and daylight photography works fine, but 'candid' indoor photography is a bit more tricky.
The camera takes a 3.3v smart card and a 16MB one (2MB supplied) will store around 120 pictures. (NB Jessops own brand card is ~ £20 for 8MB)...
