Brillant cheaper nappies................
Review of Netto Nappies by
moonlightmist
Advantages: A brillant cheap nappy..............
Disadvantages: none...............
...I have tried every nappy with my son ranging from Huggies too Pampers. But he is only ok with Netto own brand of nappies they are 3.99 for 36 nappies, but price varies from newborn up to what my son is in which are Maxi and go up to junior.
The name of the nappies are called Bambino, and i will vouch for them, they are easy to put on, the straps stay stuck aswell and do not come undone when they start moving. He now goes through the night, waking up in the morning with a dry nappy and dry clothes.
Before he would wake up wet through and even his bed covers were wet, and this would be in the early hours, as he was uncoftable enough to wake him up. Now he sleeps soundly and wakes up dry in the morning which means less washing for me, and my nappies last longer....

Baldwin At His Best (Minus Answerphone)
Review of Miami Blues DVD by
sghawken
Advantages: Cheap and cheerful comedy drama
Disadvantages: No special features
...It’s a beautiful sunny day, you’re a Hari-Krishna working at Miami airport and everything is just great. Great that is until you run into Junior (Alec Baldwin), and he breaks your finger, just for being happy. Not a good start to your day, but even worse when the shock of having your finger kills you. This slightly off the wall beginning of Miami Blues is just the start of things in this quirky oddity of a movie.
Made in 1990, this movie while being at times incredibly dark is quite a jolly film. The characters that you encounter are all incredibly dysfunctional in one way or another. From deaf receptionists to blind super-grasses this movie portrays an interesting image of the murky side of life in Miami.
A greatly underestimated actress by the name of Jennifer Jason Leigh, who I have had the great fortune to meet; brings a great...

Can I have a hippo bed please daddy
Review of My First Bed by
abdrewawolfe
Advantages: Comfort, choice, bed buying experience
Disadvantages: price, you may find you have to buy one for all your children
...Introduction
---------------
Our four year old (three at the time but it takes a while to get products added….. if you know what I mean) was still in a Junior bed and resisting efforts to get her into a full size bed. She had picked out a princess mid sleeper bed with ladder and castle, altogether not suitable three and she wouldn't be able to climb the ladder. Getting her to accept something else was going to take some careful negotiation. Searching on the Internet came across Silentnight's My First Bed. Their logo is a friendly looking hippo in Pyjamas so it's a hippo bed. Finally I had something that would rate against the princess castle.
A bed buying experience

My First Beds are put together from a series of option choices with a bed builder application on Silentnights web site...

Luxurious Inverness
Review of Culloden House Hotel, Inverness by
etincelle
Advantages: Beautiful Hotel, Fantastic View
Disadvantages: Very Expensive, Location
...The Culloden House Hotel is located just outside Inverness near Culloden Battlefield. We spent a night in the hotel at the end of September.
We stayed in one of the Junior Garden Suites. The suite was gorgeous and had two rooms; both the bedroom and the lounge had beautiful views of the grounds.
The rooms were large and bright with tasteful decor. The bathroom was enormous and beautifully done in marble. I usually have trouble with hotel beds, but our bed was not too soft and extremely comfortable! I didn't want to leave!
The staff is polite, accommodating and very helpful. Unfortunately, since the stay was so short we didn't get the chance to eat in the restaurant - which by all accounts is worth a trip up to Inverness in itself! Therefore, I cannot honestly rate the food as excellent as I didn't try it.
The only drawback...

Netto Nappies
Review of Netto Nappies by
leah_th
Advantages: Execellant, and good value
Disadvantages: none
...I usually but Pampers or Huggies nappies, but I was having difficulty find large or junior size in the shops near where I live, and when I did find tem thy were getting tight on him.
I was in Netto and I noticed they had big packs of nappies. I had never heard of the name Bambino, but I thought that i would give them a try. They were £5.99 for a pack of 52 for the junior size.`
My son drinks loads of juice and water and with the Pampers and Huggies nappies he would be soaked through on a morning right up to his chin, his sheets were soaked as well and he would have a rash over his stomach.
So i tried him on these Bambino nappies. The fit was perfect, there was plenty of room in them and he has big chunky legs but these nappies fit great around them and didnt leave nasty red marks.
During the day when he had them on they were...

My First Ready Bed - what a fab product!
Review of My First Ready Bed by
FunkyFaulkner
Advantages: Fun, easy to use and great value for money
Disadvantages: None Found!
...My daughter recently grew out of her Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed) and we decided that, as she had moved from a cot into a 'Big Girl's Bed' in her room, it was time to make the move with our travel sleeping arrangements as well.
We thought about just letting her go in a standard bed, but felt that as she was in a junior bed at home (which is only 90 cm off the ground) it would be a bit much to expect her to cope with potentially falling from such a great height when she is meant to be enjoying her holidays! So we looked around and found surprisingly little available. There are some roll out foam beds, some futon mattress style ones and the rest are just sleeping bags to go on top of standard beds to keep the child all tucked in.
We didn't really like any of these options, so were really pleased when...

Pampers Baby Dry Or Not
Review of Pampers Nappies by
katherine234
Advantages: Ok As A Back Up Nappy
Disadvantages: Very Thin And They Leak
...I recently bought a packet of Pampers Baby Dry (Flex) Nappies in Size Junior. I only bought them out of quickness as i was running low on my ordinary brand, but only had two days before my online shopping order was due, with nappies included.
I went to my local Sainsbury to get a small pack of nappies, and unfortunately they do not seem to do that many brands, so i chose pampers.
I paid £5.89 for a Carry Pack of Pampers Baby Dry (Flex) Size 5 Junior, 11-25kg - 24-55lbs. This carry pack contained 30 nappies.
They are unisex nappies. Each nappy has a nice picture of an animal or bear on the front of it. They are made with Flex velcro tape so it stretches further and is easy to seal and un seal. Unfortunately, compared to my usual brand, these nappies are very thin and liquid absorbs into the nappy quickly, but it does not hold much...

A game for the juniors
Review of Pictonary Junior by
Inferno
Advantages: a fun game
Disadvantages: none
...This game is mainly for the junior side of the family. The idea is the exactly the same as the adult version of pictionary except that the drawings that they need to re draw are easier to comprehend and also to draw becuase it is designed at a younger generration. I liked this gmae but now I am to old to join in with the youngsters so I have moved on to adult pictionary. So all in all I recommend that you get this game for your kids or for your friends if you are into colouring and team playing....

ukusa
Advantages: On the Quayside and Magnificent!
Disadvantages: They book up quickly during holiday times.
...is on the right.
Intercity Railway Station: 5 mins by car
Taxi cost: 3.00 GBP
Bus fare: 0.35 GBP
Newcastle Int’l Airport: 15 mins by car
Taxi cost: 15.00 GBP
Rooms:
We have stayed in two types of rooms, Junior Suite and Superior Rooms-Quayside.
Junior Suites:
These rooms overlook the Quay. They are very large with a king size bed and a complete sitting area. We also had the conniisseur service which included bathrobes, chocolates and mineral water. The bathroom was extremely large and relaxing. Romance definately can happen in this room.
Superior Room:
This room also overlooks the Quay and the bridges. A King size bed and mini bar are nice touches in this room. The room is not nearly as large and the suites but large enough for 2 people to be comfortable.
All the rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean.
