Updated (?) version of the JVC LT-20DA6
Review of JVC LT-20DA7 by
shricthism
Advantages: Brilliant Picture , sensitive tuner
Disadvantages: No Off switch, always on standby ( but only uses 3W)
...Before I start this review I should say that this review is very similar to my review of the JVC LT-20DA6. The reason is simple - The TVs are very similar, the DA7 being the "updated" version of the DA6, although many retailers are still selling the DA6.
Some web sites claim features for the DA7 above those for the DA6, eg HD ready, Sub woofer out, or simulated surround sound. In fact neither is HD ready and the DA6 had the others. I have looked at the specification in some detail and so far as I can see there is absolutely no difference in function for the 2 TVs. The difference is that the DA6 runs via a transformer at 12 Volts whereas the DA7 runs at 24 Volts. JVC say that this has reduced maximum power consumption from 80 watts to 60 watts. I guess the 12V issue is of no relevance to anyone - except caravan or boat dwellers who...

poor performer for all sd sources
Review of JVC LT 32 DR 7 by
cheapomulti
Advantages: space saving, nice simple cabinet design, good freeview reception
Disadvantages: very poor picture quality
...for a DVD manufacturer so I get to test them on several different telly's and I've not seen many as bad as this one....in fact for SD DVD's we only use CRT telly's to do QA checks on DVD's playability and picture quality ...LCD telly's simply aren't up to the job (and this is of august 2008!!!)
The only plus point was that the freeview tuner was fast and seemed sensitive and I had no problems with the finding and programming of channels.
So I've gone back to my CRT telly and have given the the JVC LT32DR7 to my mum and dad as one of the guns died in their Sanyo CRT...so it better than no telly for them.
I haven't yet found a LCD/Plasma that can match a good CRT picture quality for SD sources.
I think I'll wait till HD is the norm and then go for a LG telly which are so far the best LCD telly I've stood in front of and watched...

Brilliant small flat screen TV
Review of JVC LT-20DA6 by
shricthism
Advantages: Brilliant Picture , sensitive tuner
Disadvantages: No Off switch, always on standby
...got.
Its not HD ready but why would you need HD in a 20" set?
My only complaint about this TV is that when turned off it is is standby. The only way to completely stop it using energy is to turn off the wall socket - but that seems to be a feature of many domestic electrical items now.
I bought it from Dixons on line for £435.99 in 2006.
.You probably already know that Dixons shops have now been renamed and that Dixons is now on line only - still under the same ownership as Curry's but selling most products a lot cheaper - I saved about £80 by getting via Dixons instead of Currys even though they have virtually identical web sites and the same ownership and processes.
They don't appear to have it listed now but you can get it from Empire Direct ( via Amazon) for a similar price. Some sites now list the JVC LT20DA7 which appears...

AutoCAD LT97 – AutoGLAD I’m using it!
Review of AutoCAD LT 2000 Complete package by
Rodarama
Advantages: Powerful and relatively cheap
Disadvantages: None
...As you are probably aware, there are literally tons of different versions of AutoCAD to choose from. AutoCAD LT97 is purely the version that I’m using at the moment and for your typical tech. drawing office duties, I can’t think of a better package for the price.
I have worked with numerous versions myself (starting with release 11) and I have also encountered release 14 and AutoCAD 2000. Both r14 and 2000 supersede 97 but you’ll only really need to use these if you’re pretty involved with 3D/Modelling/MOSS work, either that or you tend to incorporate tons of images within your drawings. If not, then there’s not really a need to bother with either r14 or 2000. To be honest, the sheer cost of either of these alternatives will be enough to put most (smaller) firms off completely (you could probably buy another car).
For you folks...

NEC LT25 Review- A++++
Review of NEC LT25 by
atsstibbs1
Advantages: Crystal clear picture, great resolution, very cost-effective!
Disadvantages: Inputs and configuration, slightly complex.
...Well, i firstly i must say what a great little proojector this is! My dad owns and runs a small business and uses a couple of projectors here and there for various uses, mainly for pitching ideas to potential clients. Anyway, after buying one of these projectors for a small and, to be honest, quite tacky little room he switched from projectors costing upwards of £1700 to this very one, the difference in quality is virtually unnoticable and it is a vast improvement in portability and, needless to say, price.
The LT25 looks great as a presentation projector and it has done wonders for my little home cinema. The room in which the projector is used is only a little over 10 feet long and roughly six feet wide but is now where i spend the majority of my time!
The picture is crystal clear, sitting a mere 8 feet from a 6 foot diagonal...

The Sound of Silence......JVC Style.........
Review of JVC KDSH77 by
n13roy
Advantages: Stunning Sound and User Friendly
Disadvantages: Limited Use and JVC Helplines are useless.......
...We had this JVC KDSH 77 player installed in our car ( ALFA Romeo147) by Halfords about 18 mths ago.
I must say the sound was absolutely brilliant through the cars own fitted speakers ( Sony x 8 ) and for a while we were extremely happy with all the features on this machine.
It played all our CD/Rws, had a very simple to use tuner, with plenty of power, looked great, was user friendly and fitted in the dashboard perfectly.
No problem there I hear you say .
However....Unfortunately.
True to form as has been proved with many JVC car audio / music systems before.
The 12 month guarantee was up and within a couple of weeks almost to the day.
Guess what ??
It packed in. ( Error Message on Screen )
Went back to Halfords...Not our problem, Sir...
Our 12 month warranty is just up, any problems in the last twelve months...

HD TV at a superb price and my Xbox 360 loves it
Review of JVC LT-26A61S by
ASA5044
Advantages: Great picture, High definition, easy to use, value for money, XBox 360 compatible
Disadvantages: No digital tuner, speakers struggles to play music at a decent quality
...ago, my parents ordered a 30" Sony LCD TV, which had a significantly inferior picture to the JVC. To further improve the picture, it is best to get a digital tuner (I got a PVR; a digital box with a hard drive). The TV can display high definition in 1080i. Unfortunately, with the exception of Sky, the only way to get high definition pictures is by the Xbox 360 (only gaming) or by a high definition DVD player.
The TV looks stylish and the remote is of a good quality and is easy to use. You can also use the remote to play JVC video and DVD players. You can mount the TV on the wall (you will need to buy the bracket separately) or use the stand it comes on.
The biggest weakness in the TV is the sound quality. Two 3 watt speakers are very poor in any circumstance when listening to music of any kind. Having said that a lot of manufacturers...

JVC stands for Just Very Consistent
Review of JVC HR-J251MS by
TheChocolateLady
Advantages: Records well, plays well, well, well, well!
Disadvantages: Slightly complex remote, missing one feature I'd like to have, booklet not always all that easy to understand
...with both long and regular play and recording". (Remember, I said all this in Hebrew and did so at the speed of light because I had arrived late to the airport and I had barely 30 minutes before boarding.) The salesperson pointed to two models - one by a manufacturer I didn't know of and this JVC HR-J251MS. "Sold!" I said, "have it waiting for my return", I added as I whipped out my trusty credit card and gave them the information regarding my return flight. Then I rushed out to buy my Duty Free fags (for both the trip and some to wait for my return - hehehe), and finished just in time to get a quick drink and have a final fag before boarding. Everything was perfect.
Upon my return home, I eagerly obtained my new video recorder and took it to its new place of residence - safely underneath my old TV (yes, this was purchased before...

JVC XVN55SL
Review of JVC XVN55SL by
derek-j-a
Advantages: Excellent picture quality, zoom and other functions, good sound output
Disadvantages: Non. If it recorded it would be the best ever..
...With the surge in popularity of DVD recorders, it is very hard to notice the humble DVD player nowadays and it comes quite low on the list of 'must-haves'. However, if you are in the market for a good DVD player that is packed with features, the JVC XV-N55SL would be worthy of consideration.
We have had ours a couple of years now, but last year it got relegated to the dining room when we purchased our DVD recorder. It is hooked up to a portable TV we have in there but it does not really do justice to the JVC in all fairness. But that's the way things go. If we had room in our lounge under our TV on top of the DVD recorder it would still be there, because it is by far the better player of DVDs.
When we got the JVC home as a Christmas present to both of us (from both of us) a couple of Christmases ago, we were amazed how light...

JVC KD S653R let me just smack you
Review of JVC KD S653R by
Kirsthun
Advantages: Nice overall design, attractive display screen, easy to read.
Disadvantages: Functionality is low, some useless features that add on to the price tag, CD's skip sometimes while driving.
...Just why did I have to end up buying this CD player? Well, I honestly cannot answer that question. What I do know was the appearance was quite appealing to me, and the remote was something I had never seen before in a CD Player for a car. This is what lured me into buying JVC KD S653R Car CD Player.
Whatever you do, do not let the looks of this CD Player take over your decision-making skills. This JVC CD Player has definantly been designed nice in the factor of overall design it does easily pass.
