..., because on the K800i, during calls you are able to share files, pics etc, very much like MSN Messanger!! MULTI - TASKING No need to stop and start. The K800is intelligent enough to have the MP3 player, games and phone working all at the same time with programmes and tasks running in the back ground. OUT WITH THE OLD.......... Anyone leaving an old SE Handset for this great phone will be pleased to hear that the Mains Chargers and In Car Chargers have the same connections as the K750i, W800i, W810i, W550s etc. Now, the BAD news, the Memory Card has changed!!! The Phone still includes the adaptor, but we are on new territory here with the new Memory Stick Micro (M2) Bit of a pain to swap things round and, at the moment at least, there is no M2 Card included as a freebie....but I can't see this lasting too long. ...I have to say, after my previous phone, the Motorola V3i, I was a little disappointed as to the size of the K800i. Phones seem to be going backwards and getting bigger. But really, thats where my grievances end. But it doesn't take long to get used to and to be honest its size is something to be quite thankful for when you're rooting around your bag trying desperately to find it when it starts ringing! The Sony Ericsson K800i is the most amazing piece of technology. I picked it for my contract upgrade simply because it looked sophisticated. And I wasn't disappointed. This phone can do so many things. I am so organised with it! I have everything I need with me - contacts, address book, calendar, alarms so I remember appointments and such like. Black Sony Ericsson K800i The phone is light weight, black in colour , it has 3.2 mega pixels camera, and its auto focus. It has a slightly large screen. My one is 3g make , which has a 3g logo near the buttons. Head set button on left hand side , adjustable volume buttons on the side, camera button just beneath the volume control on the right side of the phone. ...One of the latest offerings from Sonys Erricson range comes the K800i limited edition. The main difference, and as far as i am aware, only difference is the fact that this phone is in silver, rather than the previous black (or brown) edition. ----------Size & Feel---------- First things first, lets start with the size. Now for what is essentially a normal phone, one that doesnt have smartphone capabilitys it is in my opinion quite large. Somewhat larger than it need be. It weighs 115g which isnt too bad, and does feel comfortable to carry and hold, but size wise its not far off the same size as the Nokia n70. Which lets face it, can do a lot more. ...as you want as you would with an ordinary camcorder. The more free memory on your phone the longer you can make your film. There are also the usual camera effects such as sepia, black and white, solarize, etc. You can choose to take pictures in either portrait or landscape and alter the size of the pictures. My favourite feature on the camera is the frames that you can add around your photo. I have taken quite a few photos, some during the day when it is bright, some in the evening when it is duller and even some in the dark and every single one has been perfect. I cannot fault this camera. THE SCREEN ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The screen is a nice size and I have had no problems seeing anything on it. ...I have owned a Sony Ericsson K800i for around 6 months and it is by far the best phone I have used from any manufacturer. Its not without its faults but compared to the numerous other Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Nokia phones I have used previously the K800i is a real breath of fresh air. If you want a compact phone with a brilliant camera thats packed with useful features then the K800i is a great choice. Pros - Phone. The K800i has all the usual features you would expect to find along with 3G/Video call support. The SMS/MMS interface is easy to use and email is also supported. I have found the reception to be very good. The contacts/address book allows you to store alot of info including multiple phone numbers, a photo of the contact (used for photo id when calling), address, birthday and email address. - Interface... ...The Sony Ericsson K800i provides an all-round good experience, with a sleek design and good functionality. It's hard to fault its basic performance, but like all phones, it has just a few annoying features. Functionality: The Sony Ericsson K800i does fairly well in this area. It has all the basics and most of the extras too. Most importantly, it has a very high quality camera. With 3.2 megapixels, it can hold its own against actual digital cameras. Really, anything above 3MP is as much as you'll ever need. The autofocus seems to work well, and it has a focus light to help for close-up photos. There's also plenty of options, such as red-eye reduction flash, timer, and white balance. It's obvious that it was designed to be a fantastic cameraphone.
