King of all bars
Review of Kit Kat Chunky King Size by  RobStead

Advantages: Delicious chocolate bar
Disadvantages: none!

...I was always a fan of the Kit-Kat bars, even when they were only the thin sticks. So you can probaly guess how excited I was when I heard Nestle had released a Kit Kat Chunky! The two or four thin fingers were never enough for me, and even a Kit Kat Chunky isn't really. But as for 'the beast' of the Kit Kat World, the Kit Kat Chunky King Size, well what can I say - I'm in heaven when I am munching on one of them, and them seem to fill me. In the UK, Kit Kats have been in popular demand and the launch of the new Chunky versions means that Nestle have now become even more in demand. The Kit Kat Chunky is wrapped in the firmilar red wrapper and the well-know Kit Kat logo on it, with 'Chunky' written underneath it. The wrapper is foil wrapped and is very easy to open as it has 'Break here' section. A Kit Kat Chunky (KKC) is basically... Read review

Bite sized King
Review of Night Shift - Stephen King by  sandemp

Advantages: A good collection of short Stephen King classics
Disadvantages: Some of the stories aren't upto standard

...I love to read Stephen kings novels, but sometimes find that I'm up past the wee small hours, trying to find out how they end. What I needed was a book filled with some of his shorter stories, and this is where Night Shift comes into it's own. Comprising of twenty short stories, each of which can easily be read within an hour or so. The Author ************* Born in Portland, Maine in 1947, Stephen King is a prolific writer, dealing mainly in the macabre. He has written many novels, both in his own name and under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. Many of his novels have been adapted for the screen, and in fact a few of the stories in this book have had such treatment, one so successfully that I have no fewer than four films in the Children Of The Corn series in my own collection. The Stories ************** What follows... Read review

the King of Burgers
Review of Burger King by  ShoeLace

Advantages: flexible menu
Disadvantages: full of all the naughty stuff

...that will remain nameless (McDonalds) seem to lack. SIZING OF PORTIONS Interestingly Burger King seem to have introduced a new sizing system in their restaurants that I find intriguing, because they have abolished 'small' from their menu. Perhaps because it implied they were not giving you enough food for your pound. Anyway, their menu now begins with 'medium' (which I find endlessly amusing – did I mention I was a bit boring – and if I need to explain why starting a size chart with 'medium' is amusing you are perhaps not boring enough ) proceeds to 'large' and then on to 'super'. VARIETY OF MENU The menu, although fixed, has a decent amount of variety and offers alternatives for vegetarians (the BK VEGGIE burger sandwich) and people who are concerned about their weight – although not too concerned (the Chicken sandwich has 8... Steel city I - King Of Baltis
Review of Balti King (Sheffield) by  Excelle

Advantages: Food is great, brilliant service
Disadvantages: None

...! - Size isn’t everything The first thing that hits you when you enter Balti King is its size – it isn’t exactly the largest place in the world, but then it isn’t overly small for it’s needs. There hasn’t been a time when I’ve been there and had to wait for a table. There’s also a room above the restaurant which I think is used for larger parties and I think they can be booked too, which is nice. One of the waiters will take you to an appropriate table on entry, and they’re quite friendly with you, especially if they’ve seen you in there before! The main room is quite cool because of the fans fitted to the walls. At this point it is important to mention the music. Most of you will know that when you go to an Indian restaurant, you’re quite often treated to either silence... Read review

The King of all Burgers
Review of Burger King, Edinburgh by  danieletheridge

Advantages: Great Burgers
Disadvantages: Dirty?

...inspectors for a week to clean up as it was so dirty] One point, out of a possible two to McDonald's. You make your way towards the service counter and you take a look at the menu. This is where your meal properly begins, when you're standing in the queue gazing at the menu to see what's available and how much cash you'll have to part with for it. Selection... At Burger King, there is a good range of things to eat for your main course - Whopper, Whopper with Cheese, Big King... the list goes on. However they seem to lack in the pudding department. But the prices are fine - nothing that will leave the bank manager moaning. McDs has a massive selection of everything, and everything is listed very clearly on the menu boards, with all the different sizes, which is something BK have failed to address. The prices are OK, a bit steeper... Read review

welcome to the kinky farm
Review of Kit Kat Chunky King Size by  super_stevo

Advantages: great tasting chocolate bar
Disadvantages: sugary

...for a while but when I finally brought myself to try it. I suprised myself and I havent looked back since. It is mega chunky chocolate and tastes like heaven.I don't know about anyone else but I think the king size is a bit too sickly as the normal size is just about right and is amazing. This costs you about 60 p which is quite resonable for a chocolate bar this size and you wont be dissapointed. If you haven't tried one of these yet well you are missing out on a monster of a chocolate bar and you should get on your skates and get down tyour nearest shop pretty sharpish. cheerz for reading chucks and it's great to be back:-) Stevo !!!!... Evil Never Tasted So Good
Review of Kit Kat Chunky King Size by  thefrogprincess

Advantages: Yummy. So so nice.
Disadvantages: Nestle = bad people

...Oh, Kit Kats. The mini versions with lunch. The slightly bigger ones, also with lunch. The 4-fingers, as lunch. And then came Kit Kat chunky. That and a can of Coke or Dr Pepper got me through many a day at college when all I wanted was to go back to my bed. The amazing thickness of the chocolate, the sheer amount of biscuity wafer thing inside which has it's own taste. Mmmm. And they weren't that much more expensive than normal Chunkies. Lunch for under £1! Huzzah. It was too good to be true. Not long after I'd discovered the delights of Kit Kat Chunkies (King Size or otherwise) my friends in the community that go in for boycotting things (members of CND, the Woodcraft Folk) told me about the evils of Nestle. (Telling mothers in Third World Countries that only their baby milk should be given to their children, giving cheap... Read review

Not really the king...
Review of Burger King, Northhampton by  edd101

Advantages: The Bacon Double Cheese Burgers Are Tasty
Disadvantages: Expensive, Not Particuarly Clean And Not The Best Of Atmospheres

.... The service was however quite fast for my order and I was quickly walking off to find a place to sit down. This presented a problem eventually we got a two seater table however It was right next to the kitchen door. Either way determined to enjoy my burger I tucked in. The portions were rather big. I had the biggest coke cup I have ever seen in my life, the chip portion was huge and the burger was pretty big to, saying that it might have had something to do with the fact it was a super sized XL bacon double cheese burger meal. The burger was extremely tasty and the chips were standard. I left burger king full to the brim and feeling quite sick from over eating, however to be fair I had eaten 5 Weetabix for breakfast that morning, lol. Food standards seem to have gone up a lot lately at burger king, the burgers actually look somewhat like... Read review

Chunkalunkaheaven
Review of Kit Kat Chunky King Size by  dave27

Advantages: Tasty
Disadvantages: Over too soon

...The chocolate lover's dream - just appeared in all good confectioners everywhere - at a mere 51p (u tite gits!) from Nestle (sorry, Nesslay) the biggest chunk of delightful hedonism you can get... Kit Kat Chunky King Size is a wonderful, wonderful variation on a theme from those excellent confectioners. Believe me, once you've had one of these monster size demonstrations in a little bit of what you fancy, you'll be completely addicted to the treat. Everyone knows the good old standard Kit Kat bar, in either two stick or four stick versions with the catchy advertising (Have a break, have a Kit Kat, or some such nonsense) and the distinctive red wrapper with the huge white and red logo. In themselves those bars are truly marvellous things, lovely choc over the top of a wafer biscuit which is peerless, absolutely peerless and one... Read review
