...Yesterday was my bed’s birthday, it’s fourth one! Don’t laugh, I love my bed! We sold our boat 4 years ago and put some of the proceeds towards the loveliest bed you ever did see! We went with a budget of £400 and spent £1000…splutter! So every August I buy it a present, a new duvet set! I usually go for something in terracotta, jade, deep red or cream, as my bedroom is a mix of these colours. Sounds vile eh? It’s not, surprisingly it works! When we first got the bed I really splashed out and got a matching king size duvet set with matching fitted sheet and pillow slips, it wasn’t cheap at £75 but it has been worth the money as it is still in good condition. However I did not spend that much on the next 2 sets, settling just for the duvet cover and a couple of pillow cases as, being all of the same... Read review

...! There are various Bob the builder duvet sets that you can choose from for your child. We chose this design as we particularly like the colouring of it. What is also great about choosing to accessorise your childs bedroom with Bob the bulder is that you are left with endless choices of what to add. You can choose from: - Uplighters - Curtains - Rugs - Toy Chests - Night lights, clocks - Table Lamps - The list is endless!! We bought this set off ebay "as new", as it is not the most recent design- but I would then again say it is very hard to keep up with the newest design as it seems two or three designs are released each year. We also bought the curtains to match, and found we could easily mix and match the rest of the accessories from the Bob the Buidler Range. ...When our washing machine decided to start playing up, we began looking at new machines. The thing that appealed to me about this one was the anti-allergy aspect. As my husband suffers from allergies, anything that might help to relieve this would be good. Plus its size means that it can handle king-size duvets, which is a major plus as dragging the duvet round to the Laundromat is a pain, and it costs money. On the allergies side, this apparently the only washing machine endorsed by the British Allergy Foundation, which is a good sign. The anti-allergy features include washing duvets at 60º to kill dust mites, and up to three extra rinses for sensitive skin. ...to me. Apparently it could not be done in any other way. Eventually the parcel arrived. On balance it was worth the wait. The towel is the sort that small children use to make large tents and it's still hung over the bathroom towel rail. The quality is excellent and the price was less than I would have paid had I been able to find the same size in the shops. The current price for the 118cm by 180cm towel is £25. The duvet cover was for the spare bed and it looked clean and fresh. All the bed linen ranges are 100% cotton, in understated designs but as I was to find they are of variable quality. Flushed with the eventual success of my first order I went on to buy a king-size duvet cover and pillow slips in a design called "Self Stripe". In the catalogue it looks soft and comfortable, but it proved to have a slight nap on the fabric... Read review

The prices vary depending on the design. The one I bought from Argos catalogue is £15.99. What is the fabric made of? 50% polyester and 50% cotton. I believe its very long lasting and the colors don't fade very quickly. It’s also machine washable. What is the size of the bed cover? It’s a single cover and the measurements are 137x200 cms - 54x78 inches plus one pillowcase 50x75 cms - 19x29 inches. Now that I have told you a few things about the product, now let me write about why my son loves Bob the builder and who he is. Bob the builder is an animated cartoon show for kids. ...If you have read my other review, then you will know I have just moved house. Part of the deal (again!!!) was leaving my tumble dryer - so off to the shops I went - actually I sat on my PC and trawled the net for my new purchase. As I had just bought a Hotpoint dishwasher, I thought I would try their tumble dryers. This is a vented machine so is cheaper than the condensing variety. Advantages:- Very quiet in operation - much much quieter than my last one - or is that because it is in the garage in the new house, which means I can't hear it!!!! It has C rating which means it's not the most efficient but it isn't the worst - anyway you have to pay a lot more for an A rated machine. Very easy to load, it's got a reasonably large opening at the front to stuff your washing in, easily takes a king size duvet cover and a sheet in one... Read review
