Reliable Memory product
Review of Kingston HI Speed Elite PRO Compact Flash 4096 MB by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: Fast write speed, Reliable (estimated to last over 100 years)
Disadvantages: none
...memory cards will function on all Operating systems, including the more popular Microsoft and Apple systems. If you have a different operating system to Microsoft or Apple, then there is no need to worry as it will function on virtually all OS (Operating systems) released shortly before and after the release of Compact Flash Cards.
The X-speed on this Compact flash card as well as on all Kingston flash cards determines the writing speed of the card. The writing speed is simply the time taken for a file or files to be copied onto the memory card. The write speed determines the overall performance of the compact flash card. So the higher the write or X-speed the better the performance of the memory card. The X-speed for the Kingston HI Speed Elite PRO Compact Flash 4096 MB card is 133x. One x-speed is equivalent to 150 kb's of data transfer...

A great little Memory alternative
Review of Kingston SD/2GB-S Elite PRO HI-Speed Secure 2048 MB by
milesy19912007
Advantages: super quick, seamless technology, guarantee
Disadvantages: very small may get lost
...The kingston 2 gb disk is essentially just that and nothing more, the disk works just as it should and is very easy to use just simply plug in and go, there no new installations on your computer or on your SD compatable hardware just put the disk in and ready to take photos or store whatever you want on there. It can take anything the 2 Gb is equivalent to 500 songs and the same number of 8 mega pixel photos, should you have a camera that good otherwise it can hold many more normal pixel photos. The other good points about this product are that you can simply flick a switch and all your data and photos etc is secure which means that you could be editing a photo on photoshop and your computer crashes but the information is still secure on the Kingston. When using it I also found that it worked very smoothly with all my software packages...

USB Card Reader With Free 1GB SD Card
Review of Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Reader by
Surj1
Advantages: 9 in 1 card reader, 1GB SD card, Compact design
Disadvantages: None
...The Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Card Reader is the only device you need to store, transfer and read data on any USB enabled device. As I use a variety of flash cards for mobile phone, digital camera and camcorder.
This card reader is designed with a USB 2.0 connector which is ideal to connect via you PC or laptop. It has memory expansion slots that support nine different types of SD and MMC flash memory cards. It also comes with a 1 GB SD memory card for free, what more would you want.
This device is called mobile for a reason, as its small and compact it's ideal to take with you anywhere. You won't find a smaller more compact card reader on the market which carries a respectable name as Kingston. I have another card reader which I use for my PC, I bought this because it was cheap and had free 1GB SD memory card with it. I use this card...

King of the Flashes
Review of Kingston DataTraveler I - USB flash drive - 4 GB by
Zmugzy
Advantages: Portable high capacity storage
Disadvantages: Easy to lose
...The Kingston 4GB DataTraveler is a no-frills convenient and affordable USB flash drive. Compact USB flash memory drives have are an increasingly popular means of storing portable data. They are an efficient way of conveniently saving files for storage or as a quick and easy means of transferring your data from one computer to another. They have more or less replaced CDs as the principle storage device for making back up copies of data. Data flash drives are really the true replacements of the floppy disks used in the 1980s and 90s. Sometimes known as Flash Keys, they are versatile devices that are light and easy to carry. They can easily be slipped into a pocket or, depending upon the design, sometimes you can clip them onto a key ring. The design of this flash key is advantageous because the loop through which you can attach a key ring...

Great memories!
Review of Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive - 2 GB by
chloelowndes
Advantages: Simple, convenient and practical.
Disadvantages: Size may mean misplacing it.
..., digital camera, computer etc). Some of the memory cells used in this device are stored as "spares" in case any other cells fail over time. Kingston Data travelers have controllers that automatically block out "bad memory" and move the data to other parts of the device in order to prevent corruption of the data stored. This enables the Kingston Data Traveler USB flash drive to have a long but finite life (approximately 10 years with normal use)! Even if the device you have is faulty in any way, Kingston deliver a 5 year Guarantee with this product so it is easy to replace should the pen have defects.
Size and Design:
The Kingston pen drive is small, compact and extremely easy to carry around. In fact there is a small "handle" on the end of the pen where you can attach it to your key ring, however, if this is not to your liking it also has...

Kingston DT 4 GB
Review of Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive - 4 GB by
Khurram85
Advantages: Capacity,Price.
Disadvantages: Speed.
...The prices of USB Flash Drives is at record low. Now one can easily purchase a 4 GB drive less than £ 20. This is very good for the average users. These drives are in the affordability range of almost all users.
This drive is very compact. Its dimensions are:
Width: 66.9 mm
Depth: 20.4 mm
Height: 9 mm
It is also very light, weighing only 11.3 grams, so, you won't even feel it when you are carrying it in your pocket. It support USB 2.0 as well. It is compatible with almost every operating system including Windows Vista.
Although the capacity has increased and price decreased, the performance of these drives is not very impressive. it operates at only 1x speed, which is very slow. Copying a small file is not that much of a task, but when large sized files(e.g. Video files) are copied, it takes a lot of time...

Sandisk Extreme III Compact Flash CF 1GB
Review of Sandisk Extreme III Compact Flash CF 1GB 1024 MB by
colmme
Advantages: Very fast write speed, Low energy consuption. Inexpensive.
Disadvantages: Small capacity relative to new camera capabilities
...I bought this card along with my Olympus e-500 camera as it was recommended by the seller from whom I bought it. The recommendation was quite good as the card was relatively inexpensive and is very quick writing to the card, there is little if any storage lag. Energy consumption is low relative to other cards on the market, particularly cards by cheaper manufacturers such as Kingston. This card supports all types of data however to access this functionality a USB connector is required. This particular model of the card is quickly becoming obsolete because of the relatively small amount of datait can hold. Sandisk has similar cards on the market now that can store up to 16 times the amount this card can. However, the card is cheap and is still a very reliable and fast card for use perhaps as a backup or overflow card....

Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive - 2 GB
Review of Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive - 2 GB by
xmouse
Advantages: fast, lifetime-warranty
Disadvantages: nothing
...I gave my 2GB Kingston flash drive a few months ago and I think it's really great. I can use it for Microsoft Windows Vista ReadyBoost to speed up my PC. It's not too expensive and it has got a life-time warranty. It's really fast and every operating system contents a driver to use it. If you want to buy a somewhat cheap flash drive, and need a good quality buy that. Most of new PCs can boot from USB nowadays. Thanks to the USB 2.0 technology I can boot up my favourite live Linux distribution from it and I can save it back when I finished the work. You can use it for system rescue too but if you don't need these special "features" just use it to store and move data. :)...
