...Shin guards with ankle guards will give you extra protection, however anything thick, insulating and bulky on player's feet (ankles included) will reduce the feel of the ball and interfere with his/hers performance on the soccer field.There are some brilliant shin pads and they are great to play football with. My personal experience from these shin pads has been expericing a tackle on the knee pad.The tackle was hard on me,but thankfully these guards helped me a lot. To say the least they are very strong guards,their prices might be a lot for them.They are however though worth the price,so overall you got some quality shinguards here for a decent price but most importantly excellent quality which matters the most.... ...Without doubt, a truly wonderful tale that will have you reaching for the hankies. Tom Hanks excells himself yet again with this tale that will have you on your hands and knees begging for the right outcome. Paul Edgecombe (Tom Hanks) plays a veteran prison guard on death row. His faith and sanity is about to have a turnround as he watches observes and intermingles with the latest guest on death row. John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan) is the latest "dead man walking" , hes eight feet tall, hands the size of waffle irons and has been judged guilty of murdering two little girls...and hes afraid of the dark. Other guards include the sad and sadistic Percy who only holds his post because of relatives, enjoys taunting and teasing...hed better watch out because the saying is "what goes around....". Advantages: EASY TO GRIP HANDLE, CLOSE SHAVE WITH NO CUTS

...on the sides of the handle, making holding it with soapy/foamy hands quite stable. The head has good movement, allowing it to flex nicely over knees and ankles and underarm with no cuts, nick or grazes/slices! The blade guard is simple to remove, just pull off to use the razor and snaps into place after use. I have on occasion sliced my fingers when trying to replace the safety guard – in particular the slide on ones, no such accident to be had with this razor, and after counting I still have all my fingers, toes and limbs firmly attached. Whilst using the razor, I did find that I had to rinse it after every stroke as the lubricating strip appeared to go a bit like chewing gum, so I was doubtful as to its effectiveness in softening the skin afterwards. However the blades really glide up the leg so the lubrication strips do work in that sense... Read review

Advantages: weather, culture, beaches, very cheap taxis especially if you haggle, the markets, the food and drink!
Disadvantages: will need to travel around quite a bit to experience everything, it can get extremely hot even at night, some locals can be a bit rude,

...I went with my in-laws and unfortunately they prefered to sit on the beach all day otherwise I think Dubai would be a fantastic place to explore. One trip you have to make is to the Gold Souk - the biggest collection of gold jewellery i have ever seen - some of the necklaces would reach down to your knees with the sheer size! Also, the various markets dotted around are well worth a visit - get your haggling skills sharpened though! The architecture of Dubai and indeed surrounding places such as Abu Dabi is extraordinary. The 7* hotel looks amazin from far away and there was a business hotel opposite our hotel that had glass lifts which was a little scary going in! Especially 24 floors up! ...Time was that my Pentium II 350 mhz Pc was the bees knees but time marches on and countless new programs and free downloads reduced this once powerful machine to a sloth like crawl. A quick fix was Ram booster free off the net but this was never going to answer the demands from countless new and more demanding software brought home by my darling children who insisted on hogging the machine. I like to see what I'm buying so I did a trawl around the Pc vendors on Tyneside leaving Pc World to the last. Yes I met the salesman from hell in my travels and found everything that I didn't want and was loosing hope of finding a machine to cover everything that I needed from it at a price that I could stretch to, so I was not prepared for what I found within Pc World. ...Children love to play, and this ususally involves running, rollerblading, cylcing, but mostly falling over! Although Barbie is considered soft and friendly, these knee and elbow pads are extremely hard, durable and most of all cool ( if they weren`t you little girl wouldnt wear them). With the velcro straps and well designed shape they are easy to put on, especially for small fingers. After several months of learning to rollerblade, my four year olds knees were begining to look like badly bruised apples. ...Based on what my intellectual crony and fellow amateur critic BG said about this 1996 Stephen King book, this movie adaptation is incredibly true to the book. Not having that experience to draw from, I, nevertheless found this movie to be moving, compelling and downright mystical. The film's title refers to the pristine green floors of Cold Mountain Penitentiary, a deep south, depression-era prison...more accurately...death row. A wasted title, in my opinion...you never really see this green mile. Not important...just noteworthy. Hanks is Paul Edgecomb, superintendent of the green mile. When a new, incredibly large inmate is escorted into his death row cell block, the rest of the story's players unfold. Edgecomb's fellow guards are led by "Brutal" Howell (David Morse)...a face you will recognize...and turn out to be the movie... Read review
