...I gave these a test run over the weekend while little one was vomiting everywhere and running a temperature. I'e had them for some time - they were a free sample i received whilst wandering round our local Boots store one afternoon. Dont know about your kids but whenever mine gets a temperature she complains that her face is burning aswell as the rest of the body and the paracetamol doesnt always make any difference to this - so i usually have to resort to a wet flannel which keeps falling off everytime she moves and can get the bed clothes extremely wet and messy. Anyway these are the answer to my prayers. You should use Kool 'n' Soothe at times of high temperature/fever and only on children from 1 year of age. ...Obviously with the high amounts of pressure and heat which travel through brake pads and the almost implicit faith which you have to place in them when cycling you need to trust your brake pads and know that if you need to stop they’re going to have the performance there to help you slow down as quickly as you need. I've used the Kool Stop's for many years and have never been disappointed once by the value or quality and would even admit to sometimes being surprised that they ‘still’ don’t need replacing even when I cannot remember the last time I did. I use disk brakes on most of my bikes these days but the ones which do continue to use rim brakes will always use Kool Stop pads… Really impressed and would most definitely be my highest recommended rim brake pad...... ...This review is for the Kool Sound 220 & not the Kool Sound 220P which is exactly the same apart from the very modest 200W built it amp. Bought this unit for back-up purposes only, but can be easily used as a main system. I have started to use it more & more along side my other main twin decks so I have 4 decks constantly on the go. I am also in the process of converting to digital DJ'ing by using the Numark iDJ2, however, even though almost all my music collection has been transferred onto 2 external HD i have decided to carry on using the CDS200 unit when I convert so I can still play CD's CD-R's if needed. ...This is a marvellous invention for people who suffer from headaches and migraines. Many migraine sufferers find that the excessive heat that builds up inside the head during an attack can be relieved by applying an ice pack. This is soothing and reduces the pain and most importantly, can prevent a full migraine developing from the first symptoms. When I have an attack, or one is "pending" I use a iced gel pack which sits in my freezer till needed. This is great so long as I : 1) am at home 2) don't want to do anything except lie down and hold the pack in place This of course is not always possible or convenient. Kool 'n' Soothe consists of an adhesive patch which holds a strip of cooling gel against the skin. ...This game is amazing, once you start playing it, it is very hard to put down and do something else. I missed homework deadlines, was late for work and skipped dinner because i found it so brilliant. The opening sequences to the levels are kool, showing you the story of this woman. Before you even enter the levels you can test your guns, test your fighting skills and driving skills. The Goldeneye sequel some said, this is much better than Goldeneye. The multiplayer levels are also mind boggoling including levels from Goldeneye, and they also let you play against the computer so that you can have some great practise, so that when your mates are around you can kick butt....
