Disadvantages: becoming too developed! not all beaches are with fine white sands

...and clubs/bars but with very little beach to swim. Big and Small La Laguna do not offer much in terms of beaches but have complete diving equipments and instructors and places to stay. Don't even think of swimming if you are staying in Sabang beach for the water is murky and there are too many boats docked there. Sabang on the other hand is more famous for the bars and clubs (including adult fun), so if you are taking your kids and some friends better stay at white beach! Next to white beach and still "fresh looking" is Tamaraw beach, another long stretch of shore perfect for swimming and beach sports. Peak season for Puerto Galera in general though is around April to early June, so better make the reservations or you will be sleeping under the stars! ...The Hills is my guilty little pleasure. There's backstabbing, friendships, boyfriends, clubbing, making up, breaking up, in fact this programme has everything! The Hills is actually a spin-off television series from the very popular show, Laguna Beach. This show followed a bunch of high school students through their life in Laguna Beach, California, a very affluent, beautiful area right on the coast of Southern California. One of the main characters was Lauren Conrad, often referred to as LC. She, in my opinion is quite a pretty, nice mannered girl, if somewhat spoilt. She has the clothes, looks, long blond hair and drives a very nice convertible car. I do like her and I think she is quite entertaining. She often seems to have a rough ride where some of her friends are concerned but that is life, and more importantly that is life... Read review

...I am now driving my second Laguna 2.0 RT and would have the same car again next time I change. The car is good looking, handles well, is more than fast enough and is comfortable to drive. I drive over long distances and the car is ideal for the company rep doing lots of mileage. The Laguna offers good value for money, with all the desired extras in a car of this range. The only downside is that the air conditioning isn't the best but it does the job. The car does have a tendency to pull to the left and both my Laguna's have done this. The dealers backed up this tendency when questioned. Despite this (and I don't notice it anymore), it is a great car to drive and I would recommend it to anyone.... Read review

.... Our first experience of the beaches was when we were travelling up the coastal road from San Diego and joined onto the Pacific Coast Highway at Dana Point and headed on along Laguna Beach and Newport Beach before heading into Hollywood, where our hotel was. Our next day of exploration was on the last day of our honeymoon and we drove out to Santa Monica and then up the coastline where we spent some time just past the main area of Malibu beach, before sadly heading back to the airport. Whether you are into lying on the sand soaking up the hot California sun or surfing in the Pacific Ocean, there really is something for everyone in this area. I have to say that we prefer to wander along in quieter areas, spending quality time together and watching out for wildlife and birds rather than the busier sections of beach but we wanted... ...I visited the Laguna Park 2 apartments for a week in November 2005. I hope you find this review helpful! On top of the already great features at the Laguna Park 2 you can also use the facilities at Laguna Park 1 at the bottom of the hill. Location the Laguna Park 2 apartments are on the outskirts of Playa de las Americas near Costa Adeje. It is quite a long walk to the beach, and about 10 minutes to bars and restaurants. If it is the very lively part of Las Americas for example Veronicas strip this would be too far out. It is on "cardiac hill", you have to walk down a slope to the pool from most apartments. It would definitely not be suitable for those with walking difficulties as the hill is just too steep and long. There are a couple of lifts but whether they are working or not is a different matter. ...My parents have owned a Renault Laguna since 2004. We decided that since our accident, we would need a car with a very high safety standard. The Laguna ticked all of the boxes with its excellent five-star european safety rating and sufficient boot space. In general, the Laguna is a good drive which is very smooth and durable on lengthy journeys but there are some major problems. The main two problems that we have experienced is that the tyre sensors always break and we have to take it in to our local Renault garage for repair at £75 a time. We have now stopped going to the garage and just put up with the annoying unfixable sensors. The second problem is fixings within the car seem very cheap and can be removed very easily and many of the speaker covers etc. within our car are virtually hanging off. Overall though, I believe... The show isn't scripted and everything that happens within the show is actually the girls' real life. Fans of Laguna Beach will already be familiar with Lauren Conrad. After appearing in MTV's reality programme Laguna Beach, Lauren, (or LC as she was formally known by her friends) has moved to Los Angeles for a new life in the city. The Hills is a spin off to Laguna Beach, and also follows three other girls, Heidi, Audrina and Whitney. The show began filming in August 2006 over a nine month period and shown on MTV before being released onto DVD.
