...this dell laptop is very good for first time computer users. it offers all of the main features you would expect to see in a laptop and also comes with some optional extras such as windows vista home premiam an upgrade of vista home basic. the laptops processor is well known and could easyily run most games and almost ever aplication on the market for example microsoft office. with dell laptops such as this it is also possible to get a built in webcam in a wide range of colour if it is desired. the laptop however is not the fastest laptop on the market at the moment and is not as good as the dell inspiron 1501 another model of laptop from dell.... Advantages: Features, design, brand name, fast.
Disadvantages: Breaks, battery not covered in warranty, sony repair service isnt the best.

...This laptop was my second from sony, and it will definately be my last. Yes, this laptop has some good features, a good processor, able to cope with computer games well and a blu-ray disc drive. But.... My first laptop which was the SZ series from sony went wrong when it was almost a year old. Basically what had happened was that there was power to the laptop but it would not charge the battery as it did not even recognise the battery as being connected to the laptop. As the laptop was just under a year old, i sent it off for free repair to sony. The laptop was gone a month, which is a terrible pain for people who require their laptop for work. But the most annoying thing was, when it came back Sony had not repaired the laptop at all, yet on the paperwork claimed they had. The company i bought the laptop from offered to give me... Advantages: Good Looking and a decent sized laptop with all good features
