...I'm not really into Horror films, but my daughter has a massive collection, and I occasionally watch them. One of my favourites is Return of the Living Dead Part 2. Basically its a zombie film. The army accidently drop a barrel contains the zombie gas, and it rolls into a sewer. A couple of local bullies discover the barrel, crack it open, which has diasterious results. The gas drifts over the local cemetary, and it happens to rain as well, which washes the gas into the ground. The gas has the effect of bringing the dead back to life, and the cemetary comes to life. Most of the towns people have been evacuated, except for the people living on a new estate, which has been forgotten about. These people become the victims, and at the end there are only a few people left to try and fight the living dead. This film is a comedy film... Read review

...in the hallway. Unfortunately someone had left the guts out of the freezer over the weekend, and after the scene was shot the cast and crew ran away gagging. All the Zombies received the following for their time: a cool hat that said "I was a zombie in Day of the Dead", and an autographed copy of "The Dead Walk" newspaper, and one dollar. The film was actually shot in a limestone mine near Pittsburgh. George makes an appearance as a Zombie pushing a cart, he is only seen from the waist down, but can be identified by his plaid scarf, which is wrapped around his waist. The book that Dr Logan gives Bub the Zombie to play with is Steven King's novel Salem's Lot. Final Word. ----------- If you love gore and Zombies, you'll love this film. I wouldn't say it's greatest movie in the Living Dead series, but it is the goriest of the three... Read review

Advantages: Haunting storyline, a conversation starter for months!
Disadvantages: Ended too quickly with little explanation

...for seeing the dead ever again because that would definately mean he would be safe. The vengeful spirits of the film made me want to sleep with the lights on and the lost souls meant I had a whole night spent thinking what I would do if I was faced with the same situation. A beautifully crafted film with only one let down - the end. Everything ties together to provide the film with an emotional and action packed final scene but instead it all happend too quickly and nothing was explained about what had been happening for the last hour and a half. I personally like films that make me think, but having to come up with the plot of the entire film myself left me feeling very let down. A film to see if you like other suspenseful horror films such as Ring (Japanese original) or Ju-On (The Grudge) but expect to be left thinking that you have missed... Read review

...In general its a good game with good game play and shoot um up action. Movement seems a little slow sometimes. You can collect a good selection of weapons that function like the originals (no special outrageous weapons). The bar room brawls are different and work well. I struggled on some levels but managed to clear them thanks to the 'retry' option you get. Some levels you'll complete very easily and quickly and you'll be left thinking 'was that it !!?' It would have been a much better game if it had a multiplayer option or coop mode. Buy it second-hand if you can as new its still £20+. I got mine for £12 which for the amount of time spent playing was well worth it.... Read review

Advantages: Great FX without the use of CGI
Disadvantages: Not enough splatter compared to Evil Dead 1 and 2

...by cult favorite inventive director Sam Raimi, who would later direct bigger budget movies (but less inventive and more hollywood-like) such as Spiderman, Darkman, The Quick and the Dead, A Simple Plan, For the Love of the Game and The Gift. I always thought that Hollywood destroys inventive underground directors... Army of Darkness picks up where Evil Dead 2 left off. Don't be alarmed if you haven't seen Evil Dead 2 (or Evil Dead 1 for that matter). The opening scene of the movie, serves as an introduction and retells Evil Dead 2 in a matter of minutes (if not seconds). By the way, to make things even simpler Evil Dead 2 is a remake of Evil Dead 1. Sam Raimi's beloved actor, Bruce Campbell, make's a comeback as Ash, the anti-hero of the first two Evil Dead movies. Disadvantages: Acting isn't the best

...main characters in the film, excluding Sam Raimi and producer Robert Tapert as the two fishermen and the ‘fake shemps’ who stand in after some of the cast left before last principle shootings could be finished. The acting, actually, pretty bad but that adds to the charm of the film and seeing as its meant to be a comedy hamming it up doesn’t do it much harm. Bruce Campbell, 21 at the time, tries hard to mimic the actions of someone filled with terror and totally distraught and its quite funny to see him do this. There is little character development for any of the people though Ash does change over time, from becoming a relative coward to a mini hero by the end, and paving the way for the sequel. ...Masada is such a fascinating place to visit, especially if you are interested in archaeology or Jewish/Roman history. The history behind Masada is quite interesting. There is much anti – Semitism now, and it was active back in the Roman times. The Jewish people were always causing problems with revolts against the Romans, so the Romans had decided to try and get rid of the Jewish nation. In consequence of this many Jewish Zealots made a fortress at Masada to protect themselves. Anyway, by the time the Romans had managed to build themselves a ramp up the side of Masada all they found were a few women and a couple of children left as the rest of the Jews had committed suicide instead of giving in to the Romans. ...Well, what can say, a superb, a magnifecent, a compelling movie. Gladiator is a film set back in the times Caeser, in the time where men wore leather skirts and the times where there were Gladiators. The main character Maximus, was the general of the Roman Army. But eventually he left the army after the new emperor wanted him dead. Maximus was then captured and used in the brutal Roman games, Gladiator. This film has some very gruesome scenes, men get chopped in half and heads being lopped off. This film also has some stunning computer graphics of Ancient Rome. ...The NORELCO 5855 XL is one of the best electric razors that i have ever owned, it has an excelent rechargeable battery that doesn't go dead after a few uses, and it has a meter that lets you know how many charges it has left. It also remover the hair much better than my previous razors (braun, remington, panasonic). I have never had a better razor, or used a better one. The 5855 xl also comes with an excelent leather travel case that is very nice when you go on a trip or just overnight.... Read review
