Waterproof protection for cameras.
Review of Lowepro Nova 1 AW Soft case Camera by
wildtinsey
Advantages: Well made protection.
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to access.
...This is a compact camera case but capacious. I have used it for both a slr like digital camera (panasonic fz10) and also a film slr fitted with a wide angle lens but will take an slr fitted with a small zoom such as a 28-80mm. If you have a larger zoom you would require a bag such as there toploader zoom bag which i also have (TLZ).
It features a pocket on the flap, 2 netting pockets on either side of the bag, a internal pocket under the flap, the main section housing the camera also has another pocket.
All these pockets are large enough to hold a variety of objects such as spare batteries, film, memory cards etc.
There is a handle on the top of the bag, a shoulder strap and also 2 belt loops so it can be transported by any of these methods.
It is very well padded but still lightweight.
The camera is inserted with the lens down...

A Lowepro for a digital
Review of Lowepro D-Res 8S Soft case Digital photo camera by
confusion
Advantages: Fits the camera perfectly
Disadvantages: Boringly efficient
...of searching for the right dimensions, a quick email to the company from e-bay, a quick response pointing me to one I’d missed on an auction (I wouldn’t admit this to everyone but the camera dimensions of 90 x60mm can also be 60mmx90mm!!), a ‘buy it now’ transaction and in two days I had my camera case – all in price including p&p, £10.
What did I get for my money?
Manufacturer: Lowepro www.lowepro.com
Case, called a pouch, which describes it very nicely has a ref D-Res 8S (Digital Resolution Series)
Internal dimensions 100x65x40mm
External material: water resistant nylon crossweave, mostly black, the zipped top in silver grey with the obligatory manufacturers logo.
Internal material is a soft, lightly padded brushed nylon in grey. One full length internal pocket.
Attachments:
Two loops on top for the shoulder strap provided
A wide belt loop...

My little bag
Review of Lowepro Rezo 10 Pouch Camera by
mumsymary
Advantages: keeps my camera handy
Disadvantages: ?
...Do you recall reading about my little Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z750 digital camera?
Now you can read about the lowepro rezo 10 pouch that I carry it in.
I was lucky with the vouchers for Jessop's that the insurance company gave me as they gave me more than ample to replace the camera and accessories that were stolen from my house.
When I purchased the camera I wanted a bag of some sort to keep and carry it in
The nice man in the Jessop shop showed me a couple of bags and I choose this one. It cost me £10.99. This was the smallest cheapest bag in the rezo line
So why did I choose this bag?
I choose a black one but you can get a green or an orange coloured one for the same price
Here is the information about this pouch and the reasons why I choose it
1/ The fabric this pouch is water resistant ( very important as I often get rained...

Excellent to keep that expensive camera in!
Review of Lowepro Rezo 160 AW Shoulder bag Digital photo camera by
stiffy249
Advantages: Different compartments holds all your camera kit
Disadvantages: none
...This bag is excellent
I brought it for my digital camera it holds both of my lenses for my camera also my charger and cables including the manual
It is excellent quality for the price
Comes with all different compartments and easy to access each item.
I brought mine from amazon they also have them in currys but there is a big price difference between each retailer
Lowepro do some excellent bags for cameras and camcorders superb quality and sitched very well.
Far better quality than quite afew bags on the market, they have a fluffy inside on all different sections of the bag which prevents scratches on your equipment
I give this 5 out of 5 stars as i cant fault it.
Well worth the price and i would say quality is superior...

A fantastic Landscape an Wildlife Lens
Review of Sigma EX zoom lens - 50 mm - 500 mm F/4.0-6.3 by
benzas
Advantages: Fantastic zoom range, exceptional image quality
Disadvantages: Heavy to carry, difficult to hand hold at 500mm in low light.
...I recently purchased this Sigma 50-500mm f4-6.3 DG EX lens for my minolta.
It is fantastic!
Lets get the negative things out the way so we can focus on the bountiful positives.
1.) It is heavy. Weighing in at nearly 2Kg this is no lightweight piece of kit, but all that weight is necessary for the size and quality of optics used. If you have a good bag like a lowepro or tamrac, then it's really quite easy to trek around with it all day on your back, or hand carry it using the tripod mount/handle.
2.) Due to the aperature not being fantastic, this isn't the best lens for low light fast action photography. There are long telephoto lenses (up to ~300mm) with a wide f2.8 aperature throughout for low light and high shutter speed, but these neither have the range or flexibility of this lens. They cost a lot more too.

Secure care for your digital camera
Review of Lowepro D-Res 25 AW Soft case Digital photo camera by
eddybennet
Advantages: Sturdy manufacture, with excellent padding and secure straps
Disadvantages: A bit too much padding makes it bulky to carry on a belt
...Lowepro began as a hobby for a keen climber around 30 years ago, and has since turned into a vast bag and case company. Having revolutionised the strap systems on rucksacks to allow for self-adjustment, Lowepro moved into developing a range of cases for amateur and professional photographers.
The D-Res 25 AW (All Weather) is a mid-priced case, but provides the level of quality you would expect of any Lowepro product. With internal dimensions of 9cm x 6.5cm x 15cm it is more than adequate to house longer-than-most digital cameras with a zoom lens.
The main body of the case is made of black reinforced nylon, and is classed as being "water resistant", although I have had it in quite torrential downpours and found it to be completely waterproof. The top cover of the case, which unzips via two Lowepro branded steel and plastic zips...

Bounce Bounce Tigger
Review of Bounce Bounce Tigger Game by
dllegal
Advantages: Colourful Cardboard Box
Disadvantages: Doesn't work and is unplayable.
...Absolute rubbish. Poorly made. Numerous reports on the net (search "Bounce Bounce Tigger Problems"). Almost impossible for children under 7 to use as tigger doesn't click into place easily - needs to back to redesign.
Taken 3 back to Toys R Us and the assistants can't get them to work either. (Now, after the third replacement, ToysRUs have refunded.
Even when the tigger does click in place, you're supposed to move a slider. 9 times out of 10, any movement of the slider results in tigger popping up without anything on him.
The speaker on every single one we've had has either been wholly defective or works only at random.
If this is the new quality of Ravensburger Toys, then they're in for a de-listing!
If I could rate Zero stars, I would. The worst toy I have ever bought....

Lowepro the best choice
Review of Lowepro Rezo 20 Soft case Camera by
oldwasp
Advantages: compact light
Disadvantages: None
...Lowepro Rezo 20 :~
Bought this camera case due to the fact that when my new Fuji F31fd camera arrived it was not supplied with a camera case which personally think is a bit of a joke.
But this has turned out to be a good thing as the Lowepro is probably much better than any other case I have seen before.
Price :~
The price varies but the cheapest was on Amazon for £7.44. This was not with free p&p unless you spent £15 in total. So just buy something else so you are entitled to the free p£p
Size & Material :~
The bag is 4.5"x3.5"x2" the outside is black. This is made with a Water-resistant Stretch Polyester. The camera compartment has a soft inner to prevent scratching the camera.
All the stitching and material seems well made and I'm sure it will give me years of use.
The case is not hard and if you dropped the camera there seems...

Lowe-Pro Magnum
Review of Lowepro D-Res 8S Soft case Digital photo camera by
Nige7Whit
Advantages: Very high quality costruction and features.
Disadvantages: Quality comes at a price, sometimes.
...I have been using one of the Lowe-Pro Magnum bags for about 3 years, for my 35mm outfit, and I can't fault it for construction or capacity.
There is a larger bag, the 'commercial' but I don't think many people would need this large a bag, unless they carried LARGE lenses on a regular basis.
I can fit my 2 Canon EOS 5 bodies in (one fitted with 70-200mm f2.8 lens, and a pro flash, plus up to 2 extra lenses plus other gadgets and stuff. I always find that manufacturers over estimate the lens capacity of their bags (they must be using thin lenses), as the lenses I use are quite 'fat' being f2.8 zooms. The latest version of this bag has removeable end pockets (mine doesn't) to allow you the choice of adding other 'sliplock' accessories, such as lens pouches, film pouches etc in place of the pockets. I find that the integral pockets...

A Brilliant Kettle, "With a Filter!"
Review of Brita Acclario Water Filter/Kettle by
Chazzer3
Advantages: Kettle and Filter in One, Safe, VERY rapid boil, Brita
Disadvantages: Can be top heavy when filtering
...of the kettle, and stickers etc. Then you have to wash all of the parts to remove packing bacteria, as you have to with all plastic products. Once you have done this the kettle is very easy to use, put in the Brita cartridge and fill with water, then press the concealed on switch, (hidden behind a slider on the handle, thus preventing boiling whilst filtering), and the water boils. Overall the ease of use is very good apart from un-packing the product.
Durability = 10/10 est.
I’ve only had this kettle a couple of days but from the feel of the build quality you can tell that if you were to accidentally drop this kettle the firm build would easily keep the kettle together. Overall the durability should definitely be very good.
Manual = 10/10
The manual of this kettle is very helpful, it has good illustrations...
