Put a Bit of Metal in Your Life
Review of Zinc (in general) by  vinodgm

Advantages: Numerous benefits especially for those on irregular diets
Disadvantages: None at all

...is essential to the formation of cells. The recommended daily allowance of Zinc is 15mg for men and 12mg for women. Zinc tablets or lozenges are available at all pharmacies and in many cases are available in conjunction with other vitamins or minerals. However if taking them in this way you should make sure that you are getting the required daily allowance. A 50mg Zinc tablet will yield an average of 15mg of Elemental Zinc. A pack of 50 tablets will cost on average around £2.87. Although slightly on the high side the benefits obtained far outweigh this. As mentioned earlier in this opinion those that are more likely to benefit from zinc are those on slimming diets, those with low meat, chicken and seafood intake and those who are vegetarians. So those of you who are experiencing frequent infections, slow healing of wounds, lack of appetite... Read review

The Industrial Oil is also Edible
Review of FSC Organic Linseed Oil by  vinodgm

Advantages: Helps in constipation and other chronic diseases
Disadvantages: Expensive, not very well known, not widely available

...Linseed oil is not something usually associated as edible oil. Rather it is primarily used in industry. Linseed oil is derived from the Flax plant and therefore is also referred to as flaxoil. The flax plant grows to a height of around 3 feet and the oil is obtained from the fruit of the plant, which is a pod/capsule. The oil derived for edible purposes is cold pressed. The later hot press yields additional industrial oil. Linseed oil is the richest source of Omega 3 LNA and helps increase immunity, helps in hair and nail growth and also is associated with healthy and softer skin. It’s primary use though is to help in constipation. The secondary usages are to help reduce high cholesterol levels, helps alleviate those with Enlarged Prostate, Ulcerative colitis (chronic disease that is characterized by bloody diarrhea... Food For Thought
Review of FSC Folic Acid by  vinodgm

Advantages: Numerous see op, Pregnant women,
Disadvantages: None

...development as the body's requirement for this vitamin increases. There are two different forms of folic acid. These are the synthetic form and the natural form. The synethetic form is found in multivitamins and fortified bread and grain products including many breakfast cereals. The natural form is found in leafy green vegetables like broccoli and spinach and in some fruits and juices, like orange juice. Chicken liver and beef liver also provide high yields of folic acid. However as mentioned earlier in this opinion, many of us do not get enough folic acid and indications of deficiency include: Sore tongue, which is red Apathy Anemia Digestive problems Fatigue and tiredness Graying hair Insomnia Memory problems Restless legs syndrome Paranoia The best way of ensuring that your body gets the required amount of folic acid... The MG renaissance starts here
Review of MG Sport & Racing by  Solex

Advantages: Good racing
Disadvantages: Loosing popularity and Vauxhall keep dominating

.... After months of testing, re-testing and then a bit more testing, the MG team revealed their ZS saloon to the world. After watching Vauxhall dominate the BTCC so far it seemed MG had come up with the answer to halt their speeding progress into the record books. With Anthony Reid - yes the driver who lost the 2000 BTCC because of a certain kamikaze Belgian going by the name of Vincent Rademaker - and Warren Hughes - one third of the MG Le Mans driving line-up - at the helm the expectations were high. The ZS made its first race appearance at the penultimate round of the BTCC. Wearing its mysterious black livery complemented by a rather lurid green paintwork, the EX ZS had definately made its style stand out among the dull Vauxhalls and Lexus's. Its striking paintwork didn't really match the cars performance as it sruggled to keep up... Read review

Review of MG Metro by  zef

Advantages: affordable fun, its goning to be a classic like Golf GTI
Disadvantages: only 4 gears, rust can be a poblem

...You can pick up a MG metro really cheaply nowadays. But although they look sporty and have nice interiors (especially MKIs) the problem with them is security and that is why there expensive to insure so make sure you get one with an imoberliser. Nice shape and MG graphics on the body, very easy to get spares and the A series engine is very easy to repair. Nice car for nipping around town but rattly at motorway speeds. Look for the ones with the high filler caps as these take unleaded petrol, but don't have alloy wheels unlike the MKIs which I think look better aswell. Rust is the main killer but the front wings are bolt on so easily replaced. Not really a speed demon but quite a nippy accelorator, If you find one in good condition, it is a lovely and involving drive.... Read review

Dont Stand So Close To Me

...before using garlic supplements. Which Brings Me To Kwai. Kwai High Strength One-a-Day garlic tablets are made from Chinese garlic cloves and are guaranteed to contain a high level if allicin. (Each tablet contains 100mg of dried garlic and yields 0.6% allicin.) The tablets are coated to help avoid odour. Good Long Term Investments
Review of Member Advice on Investment Trusts by  gorvifal3

Advantages: Easier to trade than unit trusts, lower charges than unit trusts, you can buy assets at a discount, performance tends to be better than unit trusts
Disadvantages: The share price of investment trusts can be more volatile because of discounts and gearing, generally higher risk than unit trusts

...) and Capital Gearing (14% premium). These three trusts mentioned could be considered the cream of the investment trust universe. The New City High Yield investment trust (6.6% premium) is an example of an investment trust trading on a premium because it is a specialist at investing in fixed interest securities rather than equities. An investment trust discount is said to be healthy if it is between 1 and 10%. However, if the stockmarket has been quite volatile as a whole and global markets have taken a beating, it is not unusual for an investment trust's discount to go above 10%. Since the end of the Gulf war in 2003, stockmarkets have moved upwards. For this reason investment trusts only have discounts in excess of 10% if they have been through periods of underperformance. Examples of investment trusts on large discounts include Scottish Mortgage... Read review

Review of Nature's Time Release Vitamin C by  merlina

Advantages: good value effective formula
Disadvantages: only available by mail order (or phone order)

...Nature's Best is a mail order nutritional supplement company I've ordered from for very many years and believe to be the absolute best on the market - not only on the quality and variety of their products, but also their customer support. They have a huge range of vitamin C products, ranging from bufffered C for those with deliate stomachs, to very high potency products. Perhaps the most useful version, however, to the most people will be their 1000mg time release formula. It contains bioflavanoids (of course) - it's beleieved the body cannot absorb C properly if it's not accompanied by these compounds - which are always present with C in nature. The time release formula means you get a steady supply of the vitamin, which your body uses constantly and can't store. 1000mg may be a rather high dose to start on, and there's a 500mg version...
