They increased the capacity and the ground is still getting full all the time. Manchester united are supposed to be one of the biggest football clubs in the world, while they still have got a little stadium compared to the teams that are the biggest football clubs in the world. In Spain there Is Barcelona who are a very big club, they play at the neu camp which holds well over 100,000. Man United could comfortably beat almost all of the international teams on the planet except maybe Brazil. Club football talent has become so centralized in the top clubs that this crazy turn of events can now happen. ...Manchester United, undoubtably the most dominant team this country has ever seen. I belive that they are never to be caught. Nowadays the team with the most money wins and Manchester United are the richest club in hte world. They have peaked at the right time (early 90's) and have become good when the money entered football. There is no way any other team is going to catch them and they are just going to be building a bigger gap from the rest as the seasons go by. You just wait and see them rip the rest of the teams apart as they cruise to another title. I think it is ruining the competition, and maybe a Super League would be the answer.... Read review

...If you are a follower of football, it does not matter who you support, you will still enjoy, I am sure, watching Manchester United play. It seems a bit unfair to see them on TV especially SKY TV most weeks, neglecting the other clubs lower in the premier league. I suppose it is done on viewer figures, and as I have already stated the viewing figures for this club must be high. All this shows when you consider, as it was announced today that Manchester United has the biggest income of any sporting company in the UK, it sees off competition such as Ferrari, Williams motor sport, boxing outfits etc, etc. It was also stated that Manchester United as a company are the second largest sporting company in the world, only being beaten by an American baseball company. Advantages: Very good football side
Disadvantages: Alex Fergusion is leaving at the end of next season

...I feel Manchester united are starting to make the priemiership boring as they are so far a head not only in the premiership but the fact their club is almost like a gold mine as you only have to look at their share prices to see that. There is a waiting list to get season tickets and it is basiclly impossible to get hold of tickets to their matches and not to mention the extorntionate prices. You have to give Manchester United credit though as they have done so well with players like Beckham and Cole they have a sort of world class football team. There is also no other stadium like the one they have being Old Trafford otherwise known to football fans as the theatre of dreams. ...As a Pompey supporter it is very difficult for me to admit this, but without doubt, Manchester United are the best football team in England and most probably Europe. They have the best youth set up in England; so they can get all the best young players but pay very little for them. This is proven with the likes of Beckham, Giggs and Scholes. As they are the richest club in the world, they can buy almost anyone they desire. It is a great situation to be in! ...I have lived near Manchester for nearly fifteen years and i think it is a great city. It is situated in a part of the United Kingdom that receives a lot of rain and dull weather, but don't let that put you off. The city plays host to two Premier League football teams, Manchester City and Manchester United who won the treble a few seasons ago which included the European Champions League. Staying on the sporting side of things, Manchester is the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, or at least Old Trafford is. Lancashire were the one-day team of the 90's and are currently very involved in the race for this years County Championship. On the shopping side of things, Manchester has the Trafford Centre which is an immense shopping complex with lots of shops and it also has a whole arena of restaurants as well. ....In my view I think Manchester United can not, and will not be stopped this season in their race for another premiership trophy. Even in the Champions league, they are great competitors. But he has leash to leave Jaap STAM and Laurent Blanc doesn't have him to replace.
