Print quality is fantastic, but we did run into several problems. The first problem was faint grainy lines, caused it appears be the paper feeder. These were worse on generic photo paper than on HP's own paper.
The second difficulty was the paper tray and phototray feeder. According to the manual, you can leave paper in the main tray and insert a sheet (or number of sheets) of photopaper into the photo tray. You then slide the photo tray forward until it stops, and media...

The birds will love you!
Review of RSPB Defender Feeder by
numberthree
Advantages: See birds close up
Disadvantages: Price
...they are selling silver ones. Having said that the peanut ones always used to be green, but their colours vary now too.
Both of these types of feeder can either be hung using the large hook at the top or screwed on to a pole that can also be purchased from the RSPB. These poles are around 1.7m tall and cost £9.99. I have all of my feeders hung from a pergola and can enjoy the birds feeding quite close to the house. A real must I feel to add to these feeders is a tray that attaches to the bottom. This catches most of the fall out and birds are very messy eaters! These plastic trays are also available from the RSPB for £5.95.
Feeding birds in your garden at this time of year will help them overcome the shortage in food over the winter and mean that they will be in tip top condition when it comes to breeding time in the Spring.
So, these feeders...

Typcially good HP Printer
Review of HP Deskjet 710c by
mvc1982
Advantages: Fast and reliable
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky, no USB
...presents a very crisp and clean printout. As well as ordinary printing paper, there’s an envelope feeder, and the machine copes with a wide range of specialist media including photo paper, transparencies, labels and iron-on transfers. The paper tray holds up to 100 sheets of standard paper.
In the few years that I’ve owned this model, I’ve had no complaints with its performance at all, and would recommend it as a typically reliable HP printer....

Another Great Shot From The Canon!!
Review of Canon PIXMA iP 5300 by
Craigshadow12
Advantages: Fast Printing, Vast Special Features, Cheap In Price
Disadvantages: No Media Card Reader :(
...at a very fast rate. The great thing about this machine is the option to still print your rich black and color texts, while still printing some of the best color rendered photos ever!
The iP5300s paper input tray slots in under the printer and can handle up to 150 sheets of standard paper. There is also an upright input tray that comes out on hinges to place a further 150 sheets of specialist media or photo paper.
Another good Feature of this machine is the low cost printing. These work out at around 1.8p for a mono text page, 5p for color documents and 7.4p per 10x15cm photos. At these prices you can’t afford not to buy this!
