Hot shaving tip for all men
Review of Aqueous Cream by
waterfront85
Advantages: Cheaper and more beneficial than foams or gels
Disadvantages: Comes in quite large tubs so you need room on your bathroom shelf
...Whilst it is well known that aqueous cream is a good emollient for skin conditions, did you also know that you can use this wonder cream as a soothing shaving cream?
Use just like a normal shaving cream, foam or gel, aqueous cream will give you as good a shave as any of the other high street products that are out there, and for a fraction of the price.
A large tub can be bought at all good chemists for around £2, and it lasts forever, and does not use any harmful CFCs. The cream goes on cooly and moisturises your face as you apply the cream.
So before you next decide to buy an expensive foam or a gel, why not consider aqueous cream, especially if you have sensitive skin. I had a skin complaint earlier this year, and the specialist who treated me recommended the cream, and suggested that I also use it for shaving. I have used...

Face cream is now acceptable for males!
Review of Nivea for Men Moisturizing Lotion by
sam_mule2k
Advantages: Leaves skin mousturised but not too greasy!
Disadvantages: Dont drop the glass container!
...For a while now i have suffered from irritating and unsightly dry skin. I get this mostly all over my face. I will come out the shower and my face will feel tight and it becomes pale and flakey. I used standard nivea for ages but this I felt was too thick and left my skin feeling greasy. On a hot day with a bit of sweat, my skin would go horribly greasy. If you suffer this problem like me then this is the cream for you.
---Description---
The cream comes in either a blue glass tub containing 50ml or a 75ml plastic squeezy tube. I prefer the glass tub as you don't need much of the cream for a small area like your face and the squeezy tube can sometimes be somewhat uncontrollable! The cream is white in colour and is thinner than standard nivea cream. It smells great and very masculine. Dont worry about smelling like a ponce tho, it isnt...

Man Cream !
Review of Nivea Intensive Cream for Men by
SRowlands
Advantages: Protects & moisturises the skin
Disadvantages: Your girlfriend may "borrow it" !
...Only a few years back, us guys would have had funny looks if we admitted to using facial care products. Just imagine the scene, after a brutal and bloody rugby match, rushing back for a group shower experience, drying off and then pulling a jar of moistureiser out of the locker and applying it to your face. I get the feeling that the result would be along the lines of name calling or the dreaded towel-whip !
Times, however, have changed - and cosmetic and skincare companies, such as Nivea, are introducing ranges specifically for men. This review is for just one product in their range - Nivea For Men Intensive Cream.
The Product -
-------------------
The cream comes in a 50ml Glass Pot, with a protective foil seal. When peeled back, the cream itself looks very appealing - pure white that resembles fresh dairy cream. There is a very...

fantastic beauty classic
Review of Nivea Skincare Moisturiser Crème by
Star92
Advantages: loads of uses
Disadvantages: none
...I have been using this cream for many years, and will continue to do so for many more!
It is easy to find on shop shelfs, its classic blue and white packaging stands out. Its cheap, easily available and has loads of uses!
The cream is thick and white, with a pleasant smell. It is rather greasy so I wouldn't recommend it to those with oily skin. I use it to take my make-up off (it even removes waterproof mascara and 'superstay' lipstick), plaster it all over my face for a lovely moisturising face mask, on my lips when they are chapped and just as a general all over moisturiser. Its suitable for the whole family, men and women.
It may not be as fancy as the other creams on the market but I think its brilliant! Cheap, brillaint quality, fine for sensitive skin, moisturising and easily available :)...

Men and E45
Review of E45 Problem Skin Cream by
pbyron
Advantages: Doesn't smell and gets just the right look
Disadvantages: none
...Now I know most men won't go near any fancy moisturizer or at least admit to being within 3 feet of a bottle, but it's a fact that today's world has an adverse effect on most skin, irrespective of gender.
I have been looking for a facial cream that will stop my face from ‘the crumble’ look and doesn’t have that long lasting female aroma for a very long time now and I think I’ve finally found something that fits the bill. Of course, it’s a lot easier to experiment with these creams when you have a wife who actually already uses them , but most of the ones I’ve previously tried all seem to have a certain ‘smell’ to them, which puts me off using them straight away, or are far too oily and make my face feel like it’s ready to be stuck in batter and deep fried.
E45 is one cream...

Kissable soft Skin
Review of Clinique Cream Shave by
TomlinsonSE
Advantages: Smooth silky Kissable skin
Disadvantages: Expensive
...Beauty companies are bringing out new men’s skin care products all the time, to fill a new niche market. The modern man wants to look good, and Clinique has brought has brought out its own for men range. It’s a designer range of men’s skincare products in plain manly packaging, with a designer price tag to match. It is quite a large range and includes moisturisers, eye creams, face wash and even soap.
Clinique for men is my hubby's Favourite Shaving Cream; he loves it (so do I), no more razor rash with this cream. I must admit that for all its benefits it is expensive at £8.50 for a 125ml tube, but it will last for a month. Its does make a good gift though; you can get gift packs from most stores for around £20 - £25. There are various gift sets, with slightly different contents; most contain the shave cream, plus post shave healer...

The Best Moisturiser for Men!
Review of Nivea for Men Oil Control Moisturiser by
bhavpatel83
Advantages: It really works, smells good
Disadvantages: None that i've found!
...I have naturally dry skin on my face and shaving daily only makes matters worse. Without using a moisturiser my dry skin is easily visible.
I decided to start using a moisturiser a couple of years ago. This cleared the problem of dry skin, but many of the moisturisers left me with oily and shiny skin. I even went to my doctor and she prescribed me a cream, but the problem still occurred.
I then found Nivea for Men Oil Control Moisturiser, and my problems ended. I know this sounds fake, but it really worked for me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The moisturiser comes in a green tube, which comes in a box. The box isn't something that you need to keep, as everything written on it is also written on the tube. Included in the box is a leaflet which provides information on the other...

The ultimate male face moisturizer
Review of Nivea for Men Moisturizing Lotion by
dazzlin69
Advantages: A moisturizing cream that really works and doesn't leave the skin shiny and greasy.
Disadvantages: A little pricey
...I suffer from dry skin on my face and because I have pale skin red patches can often appear around my nose and upper lip area. For years I have tried product after product but never really found one that I was entirely happy with. I also tried a prescription from the doctor but the stuff prescribed made my skin VERY greasy and shiny.
I started using Normal Nivea cream for men and although it did moisturize the skin I felt it left my face looking a little shiny for a few hours after application. Also on a hot day if I started to sweat at all I found it made my head start to itch a little.
ANYWAY, one day I saw a new nivea moisturizing cream for men and although more expensive and in a smaller tube than my usual cream I thought I'd give it a go............
I was literally shocked at how well it worked! All i needed was a very small squeeze...

MEN AND FACE CREAM? RE-REVIEWED
Review of Nivea Intensive Cream for Men by
Puma1000
Advantages: Can be used on most skin types (Greasy/dry/sensitive) without any adverse affects.
Disadvantages: They've pretty much got it perfect from the off.
...---General Overview---
Face cream for men has actually come of age and the pharmaceutical companies must be rubbing their hands with glee. Having used some sort of face cream most of my life due to a mild skin problem I have had no problem transferring my use over to commercially advertised products rather than a cream advised by the doctor. The reason I could do this with Nivea cream is due its neutral fragrance (so no irritable alcohol) and it has also been dermatologically approved. However even creams recommened by doctors have caused irritation due to the sensitive nature of my skin (it is very difficult to pinpoint the exact reason for this) but this product has created hardly irritation since I have used it, which is now around 4months. I have found I can use it more regularly as it is not as strong as creams given...

Best facial tanner for Men
Review of Clarins for Men Self Tanning Gel by
afraser
Advantages: Great colour produced
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...Clarins Men Self Tanning Gel can be bought for around £17 and is one of the more expensive self tanning products.
This product is designed primarily for the face and neck area.
For your £17 you get a 50ml tube of product , nicely presented in a usual Clarins-style box.
It is best applied in the morning, after shaving.
The Self Tanning Gel is more like a cream, white in colour, with a pleasant smell. It applies very easy and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and moisturized.
I found the colour produced to be excellent, not orange like many other products out there, nor too intensive that the next day your friends will be asking 'have you been on holiday?'. You get results quite quickly, but not as fast as other products I've tried.
Overall, Clarins for Men Self Tanning Gel is certainly the best tanning agent for the face I've ever...
