...This fantastic game imported from the States, has to be one of the best puzzlers I have played in a long while. You guide a ball of mercury around mazes to reach your goal without losing too much mercury and move onto the next of 72 levels. You need to complete puzzlers that are either a race, (against the clock) percentage (amount of mercury required) or task (activate beacons without running out of time or losing too much mercury) The mazes include changing colours using paint sprayers, mixing balls of mercury together to make different colours, teleports to other parts of the maze, plus a host of other gadgets to make this an original puzzling experience. It opens with a tutorial that starts off easy and gets gradually harder as the writers include more obstacles and mazes. At the end of the level, there is a "boss" level... Read review

...Greatest Hits III brings the trilogy of Greatest Hits albums to an end. It was long awaited, but it was definitely worth the wait. This is the first album to be produced by the group after the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury. Some of the songs on the album are from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, so it includes songs with George Michael and David Bowie. It is definitely worth buying, if not only to just complete the trilogy. It is another classic by one of the most successful groups of all time and a fitting end to a great legacy.... Read review

...This game is a lot of fun if you are patient. Basically, you control a blob of Mercury liquid and have to reach certain locations by pouring it, changing colours and dividing it etc. The graphics are very good for the PSP, the Mercury flows and moves as a real liquid would, and the levels all look good. There is not much sound on the game other than a few sound effects and the music (which gets a little annoying, but can be turned off). There are 3 game modes, all involved in completeing the single player game. Time (where you have to get any amount of mercury to a certain place), Task (where you may have to change colour and get to checkpoints etc.), and Percent (where you have to reach the end with a certain percentage of your Mercury remaining). The game is easy to start, but gets harder quite quickly, and often gets frustrating... Read review

...This last album from the full line up of Queen was a remarkable album when one considers Freddie Mercury was dying. The lyics of the variuos tracks all testify to a different way of feeling and all demand a closer inspection. "I'm going slighty mad" must have been Freddie's humor coming through in spite of his difficulties and "These are the dyas of our lives" sum up what many people must feel when faced with the end. The most moving track for me must be "The show must go on", the power of Mercury's voice hides his frailty - yet on listening to the song, it never fails to give me goose bumps when I listen to the power behind the lyrics and consider how close to death Freddie Mercury was.... ...Back in 1991, with the first phone line in my name, I was so keen to dump BT I booked Mercury on day one. Mercury was good: lower tariff, full itemising way before BT, phonecards that worked. Nothing too much trouble - well aware, I suspect, of being very much number two to the BT monolith. Then along came C&W and it's never been the same. Sudden attack of the jobsworths, account errors... and C&W almost never the cheapest. Hope NTL can clean up the mess. Meanwhile, get a Eurobell box for local/national calls and use One-tel for international. (above applies to Mercury/C&W indirect service - but I gather it's little better direct or by cable)... ...Mercury FM is the latest incarnation of Radio Mercury. Based in Crawley and serving Surrey & Sussex the station has been round for years and somehow it has managed to keep relaunching itself without changing at all! It plays middle of the road music for anyone who doesn't like silence in their life. For that is the only purpose it appears to serve. I have never found anyone who listens to Mercury - they simply "have it on in the background" so that its not too quiet. Personall, I'd rather keep things quiet. Sure enough, every now and again you tune in and think..."oh, I really like this song...I wonder if this is a new DJ?", but every time you find that after the next 60 seconds of advetrs they'll be playing something you've never heard before...or worse hoped you'd never hear again. ...Ten17 was Harlow and East Herts local FM Radio Station playing a mixture of music 24 hours per day 7 day a week. It is now known as Mercury FM and is now a part of the Mercury group. Presenters and programming schedules remain largely unchanged and they continue to provide a local service. I regularly wake up to the dulcet tones of Gary Mulligan on his breakfast show and take part in some of the on air competitions too. For a local radio station it must score at least 8 out of 10. I can't say too much about the afternoon shows as I am usually at work and can't listen to them. Mercury FM as it now is, is the channel of choice though when out in my car. They provide regular informative travel bulletins throughout the day and both local and national news stories. A useful addition to our community.... Read review

...I recently purchased Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii, although the Mercury Meltdown games have existed for many years on various gaming platforms this is the first I have ever played yet alone owned. The game can be best summed up as an annoyingly addictive and surprisngly difficult arcade / puzzle game. The concept is fairly simple, you control a ball of mercury and on each of the 150 levels you need to navigate to the finishing grid while trying to pick up bonus point items. The score for each level is time based, there is a 'par' score and points are awarded depending how much you beat that par time by. If you fail to make it in the time you can still finish the level just you don't get any points for it.
