...I think this is the show where a guy interveiws and then quizzed stars from the heavy metal world about music. The set is designed to imitate a bachelor flat with a dodgy sofa and lots of posters in the back ground. The guest who usually I have never heard of are usually laden with nose rings and devil tatoos express their hatred for anything that gets in the charts like Blink182 and there upmost respect for gangsta rap and then blaze down their heavy metal rivals. Its on dead late on firday or saturday nights and is only for heavy metal fans to hear their heros talk normal and not about the beast under their beds.... Read review

Advantages: the display bed looked good
Disadvantages: Bed damaged, workmanship appauling, branch staff are rude and not interested once a sale is made

...Terrible - metal parts on bed were welded badly, wood was chipped on numerous places and the veneer was lifting off in several parts. Staff at the branch were rude and unhelpful - not interested once a sale is made, they just referred us back to a call centre, who referred us back to the branch again! They refused to refund & collect, saying they were only legally obliged to exchange on the first occasion - we checked this out and it is totally wrong - it is a legal right to have a refund when the goods are faulty. Eventually got onto head office, who agreed to collect the bed. They now have collected the bed back, but they haven't refunded our money and just tell us to go and sort it out ourselves with the branch. We are now having to threaten legal action. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!... Read review

Advantages: easy to assemble; light weight and fold up
Disadvantages: more dangerous than a tumble out of bed

...wasn’t badly hurt but with the mattress and long metal rods flying up on top of him it could have been very nasty. Although as a normal toddler he wants to climb and jump on everything I would like to stress that at this point he wasn’t doing anything more adventurous than kneeling on the bed leaning on the bed guard. Needless to say we took the guard off his bed and made do with a folded up quilt on the floor by his bed. Despite being upside down, downside up and virtually standing on his head in his sleep he hasn’t actually fallen out of bed so we aren’t using a guard at all. I did write to Tomy about the incident and they said they hadn’t had any other complaints about this product. ...My daughter has always been a bad sleeper and when she got to 18 months she suddenly decided that she hated her cot. She would scream and scream and as she was quite tall for her age we decided that maybe she couldn't get comfortable so decided to look for a toddler bed. I looked at several beds and couldn't believe the price, some were £100+ and although they all claim to last until 8 years I didn't believe them. I put a query on a baby site for advice and was recommended this bed from Kiddicare. It's only £50 and that includes post and packaging. It's red tubular metal and has a small safety rail on both sides and comes complete with a comfortable foam safety mattress with detchable, washable cover. ...When i moved home 2 years ago i needed new bedroom furniture.I looked around for a new bed for my daughters room, the one she liked was 95.00 in argos.As i bought a tv as well they delivered the items free.When the bed arrived my dad put it together for me,it looked pretty easy to do.The bed was metal framed and had a headboard either side.Twelve months later the bed had become loose i thought it just needed tightened.On tightening the screws the bed was still loose.I decided to take the bed to bits to see what the real problem was , on doing this one of the metal slatts that held the headboard on to the frame had completly snapped off.On having a good look at the rest of the bed the metal slatts had never been welded on properly in the first case.They had only been spot welded.I found the reciept for the bed and contacted argos, who... ...As we have three cats who all like to sleep in different places we have tried various cat-beds and found this to be the best one. At first we only bought one as we don't know which cat wants which bed until we buy it and ended up having to buy three to stop the fights so I guess the cats love it too. This bed consists of a metal frame with a thick furry cover which you simply slip over the radiator. Unlike some beds washing the fabric couldn't be easier, you simply take the bed of the radiator and slip the cover into the washing machine - simple as that. The design of the bed is a light yellow/creamy colour with black paw prints over it. The colour of the cover, as well as looking very nice, also allows you to be able to see if it is dirty at a glance and will show up flea dirt quite well (so there’s no excuse not to treat them... .../he comes along. At the end of the day the fact that all of us got a good nights sleep for 6 months outweighs all of the the negatives. A addtional note on the safety and set up of the hammock as suggested by readers of this review: the hammock bed hangs from a sturdy metal frame on a big spring. This sounds a bit scary, but all the parts are very robust and there is an extra safety clip in back up to the spring. I did extensive research via the web around hammock beds and SIDS and could find nothing to suggest that this would either be more likely or less likely to occur in this type of bed.... Read review

..., it did suggest on the website that two people would be needed to put the bed together. As I live alone, that meant waiting until someone could come over and help me. Being stubborn and too independent for my own good, I decided to try putting it together myself. I read through the instructions, or rather, looked at the drawings, sorted out all the parts into piles and started putting the bed together. Who needs men anyway?! Made of metal poles, in crome and black, I found the headboard and footboard easy to put together. All the pieces that were supposed to be there were there. Even better, there were two metal rods that were designed to turn the screws until tight - this way I found that I didn't even need a screwdriver. The most difficult part of the assembly was attaching the headboard and footboard to the two main slats of the bed... Read review

...and it really is very easy to use and feels totally safe. It is made from a metal frame which is covered with a very soft padded material in either blue or pink - not that we need to be stereotypical here but with the choice of colours they are more likely to fit into more colour schemes. The main part of the rail though just has a large white mesh panel. This is very soft if your child accidentally rolls into it and also I think it's good for making sure that they don't feel too enclosed and they can still see what's going on in their bedroom even when they are lying down! The mesh also has a small secret pocket which is lovely for putting in little treasures or favourite small toys when they are sleeping. The bed rail is 91 cm in length which is almost as long as a cot bed or a child's bed but not quite. This is good because with both of our girls... Read review

...Excellent machine, I am so please I actually love to hoover now! The cleaner is solid, but light weight. The metal tubes extend to a fantastic length and the head can be altered so it will fit up my sofa, bed, etc. The cleaning result is amazing, especially for dog hairs. The tools are brilliant, so I now use the vacuum for carpets, hard floors and tiled floors. The tools give great results on sofa and curtains. I use the small brush tool everywhere - skirting, door tops, ceilings and loads more. The S5260 is very simple to use and stores away very well, as it has a side and bottom brakets that hold the metal tube and head. This also makes lifting up and down stairs very easy.
