...Actually it is the Kenwood Mini Chopper but that was not quite so catchy. The Kenwood Mini Chopper is one of the handiest gadgets in my kitchen (and I love gadgets). The marketing blurb says that it is useful for chopping nuts, meat and fish, blending fruit and cooked vegetables and making mayonnaise. However, I would recommend it to anyone who likes to experiment in the kitchen, and this is why. I make a lot of Continental dishes based around Filo pastry, cheese and or meat, and I find that this little gadget is ideal for testing quantities and mixtures for flavour and effect. Also, when mixing herbs for background flavour I can test quantities of Coriander, Basil, Oregano and garlic to make sure that they bind together and do not overpower. ...I originally bought this product after breaking my previous mini food processor and am delighted with it. I am not entirely sure as to whether to call it a chopper or a blender as the gadget performs both functions brilliantly. The first thing that attracted to me to this product was the price. I was looking for a cheap and cheerful little chopper primarily to use to chop food finely to make soups and sauces for one or two people. The second thing that attracted me was the shape of chopper. It is a very groovy looking gadget and nice to have something with more colour than just white or grey! I rarely use the blend or whip function/blade but it has been fine with whipping cream. The chopper is amazing. Having broken my previous kitchen gadget I am always a little dubious of what these small choppers can cope with but this one has faired... Read review

...This is a great addition to anyone’s kitchen, I really couldn’t live with out mine. While I was at university one of my housemates had one of these mini blenders and I was so impressed that I had to buy one for myself. It has so many uses, its great for coffee beans, spices and seeds, but it can also be used to make bread crumbs, dips and even mayonnaise. It has a small removable container making cleaning a breeze, the blade is even removable so you can get rid of all traces of food no problem, and its eve dishwasher safe. Because its so small storage isn’t an issue, the cable is long enough so as not to be restrictive in use. In use it pulses and you are advised not to pulse for more than 30 seconds (which is more than enough for most jobs). Ive had mine for 2 years now and it gets used regularly and is still... ...This is a mini chopper which is really useful if you just want to make a small quantity of something like pesto or houmous, or just chop an onion. It is inexpensive (I paid £19.99 for mine) and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen. Its maximum capacity is 350ml or 150g. It has two speeds, though I must admit I don't use the lower speed much. It's not that powerful - it has a 300w motor, but it chops things like carrots really evenly, without a slush at the bottom. It has a nice design with a cute curvy bit where the motor is and the bowl bit is one of those rounded ones. It is a bit of a faff getting the bowl back in after you've taken it out, which is a bit annoying. The blade is stainless steel and you can put the bowl in the dishwasher. ...As all mums like to do is make sure that their baby has the best! For my daughter I attempted to use a hand blender without success and ended up using my big blender which required me to make big batches, which sometimes meant I had too much of one product! When Murray came along, I had moved my big blender into teh attic and borrowed my Mother in Laws Moulinex Mini Food Chopper. She told me that it wasn't a very good blender as when she had tried to use it to blend some food for my nephew it didn't work well! Ermm... well I wasn't aware that you were meant to blend 7 month jars up! Anyway I headed home with this blender. Chopped and steamed the Carrots for my baby boy. Then came the test! I placed the carrots in with some of the water it had been steamed in. Then placed a sort of stopper in to prevent the food going to high up... Read review

The chopper attachment is actually an enclosed container with a fast rotating small metal blade (not unlike a mini food processer) you simply place food inside, fasten the lid securely, place the motor on top (locking in position) and away you go - this is definitely my favourite part of this appliance - was great to puree all sorts of hot food without the danger of splashing and burning yourself - it is the perfect size for making an ice-cube tray of baby dinners! As far as cleaning goes, simply remove any attachments and wash with your regular washing up (beware of the sharp blades though - I found this out the hard way!) and then just wipe clean the motor shaft. I am unsure if it is dishwasher safe as I don't have a dishwasher... Read review

...No reviews for Chopper ? Can't believe no one on Ciao has reviewed this classic Australian film Chopper yet, so it looks like I will be the first to do so. Chopper (DVD) Chopper is based on a true story about a notorious Australian criminal called 'Mark Chopper Read' who allegedly committed nineteen vicious murders and got away with it and surprisingly enough he wrote his autobiography whilst in jail which became a best selling book called 'From the Inside'. The film starts off very quickly,realistically and violently with 'Mark Chopper Read' played by Eric Bana (who I must say plays the part magnificently) serving one of his many prison sentences and it's not long before you see the wicked sense of humour he has and his dodgy mates. Chopper has a mixture of violence and humour and at times very funny indeed... Read review

...I have been looking for a way in which to get fit but wanted to make it fun and something that i would enjoy and have the motivation to do! I thoguht about joining a gym or going jogging but decided that buying a bike to ride to work on would be a great idea. I am into the whole retro scene and the fact that the chopper was being re issued was a twist of fate!! I decided to buy one and see how i got on, to my disgust i got home a d my dad told me that he had sold his old chopper from the 70's just a few years ago and that if he had known i could of had it. Anyway i settled for my 'new' chopper and went out for a ride. The brilliant thing about it is that you wont see anybody else riding around on one because i think most people would be embaressed.
