STEVE 0-1 MITRE SOCCER LITE BALL
Review of Mitre Soccer Lite Match Ball by
Phoenix7891
Advantages: GOOD SOLID BALL - STAYS IN THE AIR - BOUNCES WELL - TRUSTWORTHY BRAND
Disadvantages: TAKES A WHILE TO PUMP UP - WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TO USE BARE FOOT
.... When you hit the ball correctly you know it as the ball doesn't move through the air it is like an arrow into the direction you booted it.
You can also curl the ball pretty well as the weight distribution in the ball is centre orientated so it will spin and curl if you do it correctly.
It isn't a heavy ball like other mitre balls I have played with where they hardly bounce and just float around the pitch rarely going over waist height but this ball isn't like that.
It is good for free kicks as the ball can either be blasted or placed into any area you want it to with great accuracy.
I have also had some bad times using this ball like for instance after being subsituted I took off my boots and sat on the sidelines. Minutes later the ball flew into my direction only for me to be totally unaware I had taken my boots off ... anyway...

Mitre Mismatch:
Review of Mitre Ultimax Ball by
DigitalThing
Advantages: Is The best you can get
Disadvantages: Expensive
...When you consider a leather football can cost as little as £5 from some of the budget Sports retailers, it may astound some of you to realise that the Mitre Ultimax Pro ball retails at £45!!!
Yes, you heard right. That is a big step up from the prices we pay. Yet the requirements of football may of us require is simply to be round and pumped up.
However, when you are at a sufficient level of play, balls do make a difference.
I count myself as a competent footballer who has found the game to lat in life to make a difference. Perhaps if I had found the passion I now have in my formative years, I could have gone on and done something. Anyway, back to the ball...
The reason I mad the last few statements was to prove I know the difference between a cheapo ball and a good one. A good ball must have tight seams, multiple panels and most...

An Excellent Ball And A Sound Investment
Review of Mitre Ultimatch Ball by
Steboyuk
Advantages: Durability, Quality
Disadvantages: None
...Looking for a high quality match ball? I think you've found it right here. My Sunday league side bought around 15 of these balls about two years ago, and all 15 are still intact and could be used as a matchball today. This ball is excellent to train with, and using a ball of this quality on a regular basis will improve you as a player. It may not be the most classiest of balls but trust me, this will give you the best experience when your using it. Mitre have been known for creating some very durable balls and with the Ultimatch I feel they have nailed it. It possesses an extremely tough exterior which can handle pretty much everything you throw at it - alot of balls will be rendered useless after a single thorn gets lodged inside of it, but with the Mitre ball this is not the case, as the thorn cannot fully puncture the ball...

Mitre Ultimatch
Review of Mitre Ultimatch Ball by
andy2512
Advantages: Quality, feel
Disadvantages: price
...I recently recieved this ball for my birthday about a year ago and I must say it is pretty much as good now as it was when I first got it. I mean I knew mitre made some quality balls but I had never really owned a quality one like this.
I have used this ball on pretty much all surfaces - from astro turf to indoor to normal grass and it seems to fair just as well in all of them. The outer part of the ball is extremely tough and a few misplaced shots into nearby bushes seem to have had no effect. I have even picked thorns out of it but the tough exterior has prevented these having any effect on the ball.
It is also pretty low maintenance in terms of how often you actually have to pump it up anyway.
The ball is a fairly top of the market one, costing around £40 in most shops now. This is because of the top quality though...

Decent enough ball
Review of Mitre Futebol de Salao Training Ball by
fna2007
Advantages: Great in all Conditions
Disadvantages: Price
...Mitre a great football used by many people to play the best football with.Mitre is extremly proper with people around the world to be the football they train with. This ball here is no exception he official training ball of the Confederation of Futebol de Salào.
The ball designed for many great things for the magic of the foot whilst playing the beautiful game. It helps you balance and keep good control on the ball and is also made to help develop close control footwork. So that means more skills and a much better game of football whilst playing with this ball.
The game tested out on all type of condition pitches has proven to be a ball which can last on al surfaces such as astroturfs even muddy enviroments so this ball to say the least is well worh its value.
Overall Mitre balls never disappoint for their value on their great...

Good ball, good price
Review of Mitre X-Treme Ball by
Paul123123
Advantages: Revolutionary ball technology suits all weathers. Suits everyday use.
Disadvantages: Not developed enough for competitive matches at high levels.
...This Mitre X-Treme Football is relatively new to the ball market and brings with it a revolutionary high-performance level that is aimed mainly at everday training use. It is also suited to all weathers and the price of this ball does not reflect this - good all weather balls (like this ball) usually sell for over £10 but you can pick this up for under £9 online. The Mitre X-Treme Football has been developed for use on both natural and artificial turf and for this reason is is ideal for high school use (and indeed primary and infant use (as the ball comes in sizes 3,4 and 5)).
Technical features of the ball include a woven back 100% PU and this enables the ball to maintain it's power and performance even in the most extreme conditions. It does tend to swerve esxtremely, especially in windy conditions but this is a feature that most...

Ideal match ball
Review of Mitre Max Ball by
beanie8844
Advantages: cheap, excellent durability
Disadvantages: none
...I currently play for a team called LM United in the Kingston and District League based in Surrey. It is a requirement of each team to have two high quality matchballs ready for use before each match. The balls that we use are of the 'Mitre Max' variety and I have no complaints about them. The Mitre Max is a FIFA approved football, infact one of the most popular FIFA approved footballs on the market. It is made from high quality PU leather and features a 26 panel design. We bought ours online for around £20 each so they are of mid-range price wise but offer top performance. You can purchase the mitre max in either a size 4 or 5 and can use them on both natural (grass) and artificial (astroturf) surfaces. I would definately recommend the mitre max to anybody who is thinking of buying a decent football for their team as it has excellent...

Pro ball

Advantages: Maintains it shape, correct weight, feels great when you strike it.

Mitre or mitre not
Review of Mitre Duo Shield by
milesy19912007
Advantages: extensive protection to shins and ankles
Disadvantages: last seasons style, baulky and hardly a fashion statement.
...The good points about these shinpads are that with mitre you have peace of mind over the quality and durability, at a premium. These shinpads have ankle protectors which will help to protect your ankles from serious impact injuries, they will not however prevent twisted ankles etc. The good thing about them is that they are now relatively cheap and do provide you with good protection around £8 online.
However now to the bad side they only have a very simple design and are nothing flash, they weigh a relatively large amount compared to more modern counterparts around 0.4kg in size large. Where their addidas equivalents weigh just 0.26kg and believe it or not these slight variations can be the edge you need to get to the ball. Especially for the slower runner for whom i would advise to buy the lightest boots and shinpads. A good pair...

Maximum quality matchball
Review of Mitre Pro Max Ball by
spdavies
Advantages: Shape and pressure retention
Disadvantages: Price
...The mitre pro max football is a professional, high quality, high gloss matchball, developed with top professional clubs and engineered to mitre and international match ball standards. Maximum performance is achieved from balanced linings and an exclusive 'maxloc' bladder system, designed to maintain pressure for 3 times longer than a conventional bladder. The soft touch surface allows for maximum player control. The ball is manufactured as a 26 Panel design, maximised for shape retention and truer flight, available as a size 5 only in a standard white, mitre design.
Mitre provides a whole range of balls at with various levels of performance and according price. However, as a buyer of equipment for my club, I can highly recommend this ball above all of the other ones for a similar price. It provides a consistent level of performance...
