...Model Rail Magazine is a useful magazine in the world of model railways in both "OO" and "N" scales. Its layout review with pictures gives an excellent view of the work gone into creating the layout and details the equipment used. The magazine also reviews new model that have come out onto the market in both scales and its detailed breakdown of the locomotives I have found to be very useful in my purchasing of the locomotives. The technical breakdown of the engines would interest the more serious modeller to improve the realistic feel of the model for myself it is interesting to see how much can be done with the models. At the back of the magazine is the directory which gives a good selection of mail order shops and web-sites that will sell too you direct and covers most scales and specialist models. Advantages: I enjoy airfix
Disadvantages: it's a little fiddly

Advantages: Lots of Features and known to play all DVD discs hassel free
Disadvantages: Sadly like everything, It's started to get pretty dated to the newer range of DVD Players

...Well, this is one of Sony's mid range prices. This model contains lots of features with good quality sound and picture. This model came out with the first range of Sony's DVD players. This model has been around some time now, but you will still find it one of the best in the DVD market. You can find this model for between £300-400 nowadays, which I am sure some people might think is dear to others, but this model and most other DVD models in this price range have had no trouble playing DVD's at all. (Not like some models around the £200 or less mark) PROBLEMS?...Well, the only known problem with this 525 model is the term known as 'LIP SYNC'. Advantages: Good workhorse producing quality print at a reasonable price
Disadvantages: Newer models have seperate drum and toner so price for these parts tend to be high

...I have used Brother Laser printers in the course of work for some years now and can only say that they are great. The older models such as the Brother HL8E are fantastic work horses and just keep on going and going producing very good quality print at a very low cost per page. The newer models such as the HL-760 are also excellent however have one drawback when compared with the older models. The newer models have a toner and a seperate drum. The older models had the two things combined, yes the toner on the newer models is cheaper but when you need a drum and combine this with the toner the cost is much higher than with the combined older model. This aside I would still highly recommend these machines. They are easy to use, problems which are few and far between are easy to sort and you can contact Brother technical for advice...
