Wrap around my tail.
Review of Neoprene Tail Guard by
spottydog2
Advantages: Easy and quick.
Disadvantages: Material does become ripped.
....
* * * * * * * * * * *
There are many types of tail protection on the market that are designed specifically for travelling. Some people prefer to bandage. Tail bags are used a lot by people who show and have to keep the tail clean. There are material tail guards available which have a tie to attach to the rug. Neoprene tail guards seem very popular.
Neoprene Tail Guard.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Neoprene tail guards are made from neoprene (you would never have guessed that would you?) which is stretchy synthetic rubber, the same thing that wetsuits are made from. The thickness of neoprene ranges from 2 to 6mm and I would estimate the neoprene tail guard to be around 3mm. The prices range from around £8 to £15 depending on where you buy them from. The material is soft and slightly spongy and almost rubbery but not quite. The one in the picture has 5...

Woof Wear Tail Guard
Review of Neoprene Tail Guard by
sweetpea_sweetpea
Advantages: Soft & Easy to use.
Disadvantages: Only 1 size and 1 Colour.
...I own the Woof Wear Neoprene Tail Guard and I have done for a few years as its so reliable.
Manufactured from soft, flexible neoprene to protect the tail whilst travelling.
It has 4mm PX closed cell neoprene, ergonomic design for easy positioning and fit, it is designed to protect from above top of tail right to end of dock. Has a plush outer finish for unlimited strap adjustment and a secure fit and 4 adjustable high density Touch & Close straps.
I noticed after the first few times I used it, it slipped down my horses tail, not much but the top of the tail started to poke out. I thought it might be because my horse has quite a thick tail so I decided to put a tail bandage under the tail guard. After this the tail guard didnt slip once!! I also think that having a bandage under the tail is a bit more support and protection.
I do...

The Sonny to the Mouse's Cher
Review of Computer Gear Mouse mat Neoprene surface - mouse pad by
badongism
Advantages: Keeps your mouse ball clean
Disadvantages: Can sometimes be eaten by real mice
...yourself doing that rowing motion thing with the mouse to make it move. This is good as a cardiovascular excercise, but has been shown to increase the chances of a household homicide. Secondly, if you have rodents as pets or as infestations, they absolutely love chewing the Neoprene to make bedding. It's true.
But let it not be said that I am not thorough in my reviews. I do believe that theNeoprene mouse mat is the best money can buy, but I have tested it against other things which could be used as a mousemat.
NEWSPAPER: Again, some slippage witht he moseball, and you really need a broadsheet folded in half, so tabloid readers would have trouble. 8/10
OXFORD CONCISE DICTIONARY: Much better purchase with a mouseball, but the shiny cover makes it useless with an optical mouse. 7/10
HAM: Yorkshire ham usually glistens, and so makes...

Cute and Compact
Review of Belkin Sports Sleeve For iPod mini Protective sleeve MP3 player by
Amyea3
Advantages: small, comfortable, easy to use, looks good, prevents scratches.
Disadvantages: If you don't do much exercise it may not be worth it
...You can pick this up now for around £7, I got mine free with the IPod when I bought it but to be honest mine has a clip on the back of the IPod so this protective sleeve is hardly ever used.
The band itself is made of rubber, it feels comfotable to wear and is very lightweight, the rubber band adds little to no weigh to the actual IPod itself. Because it's made of rubber it also ensures that the IPod is protected against it being dropped, dinged or scratched as much as possible. Of course the screen part is always visable so if anythings going to get broken whilst using it, its the screen, which is probably the worse part to get damaged.
The IPod slips safely and securely into the rubber sleeve, which holds it tightly. The band keeps your iPod screen and controls visible and they are still very easy to use when the IPod...

A Rolls Royce of a drysuit
Review of DUI CLX-450 by
wreckferret
Advantages: Quality, telescoping trunk, rock boots
Disadvantages: Price
...I had seen were rear entry, with the main zip running laterally across the diver's shoulders. This means the diver clambers into the suit, pus the arms into the sleeves, the seal over the head and the buddy does the zip up. Tightly, one hopes... The CLX450 has a front zip, running diagonally across the front of the torso, which allows a diver to kit up independently. This is useful when supervising a bunch of novices. Moreover, getting out of the suit is up to the diver, not a buddy!
THE ROCK-BOOT
This replaces the traditional welly-boot that adorns the ends of most drysuit legs. What DUI has done is replace these with soft neoprene socks, making the drysuit more comfy on the feet and ankles. Rock-boots (or old-style canvas basketball boots) go over the top of the neoprene socks and hey presto! you have a waterproof (and comfy) pair...

Not fit for purpose
Review of Philips GoGear HDD6320 30 GB by
joeyjojoe1971
Advantages: looks nice
Disadvantages: just doesn't work
...PC. This is a common occurance.
So far the problems have been software based and could be fixed at some point if Philips bring out yet another firmware update. What cannot be fixed is the basic functionality of this MP3 player. Remember that cool looking buttonless facia? The one that lights up when you run a finger over it? Yeah, that one; the one now covered in unsightly finger marks. Try putting it into the cool looking neoprene slipcase that Philips provide and put it into your pocket and try listening to music. I am assuming that you pressed play before you inserted it into the neoprene sleeve so now for the sake of argument let's say you want to skip track or turn the volume up or in fact do anything. Oh, dear. You can't... That is because it has no buttons and the touch screen does not work inside a neoprene sleeve so out...

Hell yeah - Give me the top
Review of Helly Hansen Lifa Long Sleeve Shirt by
yackers1
Advantages: Great price, dry and matching shorts available
Disadvantages: none
...After the success with the Helly Hansen undershorts I had to try out a base layer jersey.
I have tried dri-fit tops before, and whilst they have been good and locking away most of the moisture, I have never tried one which has kept my as dry as the Helly Hansen Lifa.
Like the Lifa shorts, the top is made out of 100% polypropylene. As with the shorts tha top is skin tight and seamless to ensure that moisture is kept away from the skin and to ensure that there is zero chaffing.
Just like the shorts - the lifa is designed to be a base layer and have another top or jersey put over the top. The advert states ideal for warm to cool days - I think that this top is for cool to cold days since it is very warm. The long sleeves ensure that the whole upper body is kept covered and benefits from the stay dry effect.
Saying this though...

The Thirty-Nine Steps of the Sleeve
Review of Everything that starts with T ... by
stevethesleeve
Advantages: Quick, easy and good for a cheap laugh.
Disadvantages: SO easy a few telling secrets may have been unwittingly revealed...like how I spell my name, for instance
...01. What time is it?
09-23 O’clock hours
02. Name:
Steve (the Sleeve) Thomson
03. Number of candles that appeared on your
last birthday cake:
Not cake...never cake! And not candles either! I’m 40-several in human years though.
04. Hair colour:
Not a lot of it to check up on, sadly. I keep it really short so no-one will notice when I go totally bloody bald. In the meantime, sort of grey/brown...designer grey/brown of course.
05. Tattoos:
None of my own, but I have beeen known to borrow other people’s for a while...just to play with.
06. How much do you love your job on a scale of 0-5:
I’m freelance...some jobs are great, some are dull and worthy, some are just dull. Pass me my plane ticket, and I’ll tell you how much I’m going to love my next trip.
07. Favourite colour:
Flesh-tones
08...
