Personally, I believe that this product should be used as a help to keep the water safe and fresh for our fish, however I do not believe that it should be used as a substitute for a regular tank maintenance scheme. On the other hand, the water changes do not need to be as large, I change roughly 10% every fortnight and since I started using Easy Balance, the amount of unwanted nuisance algae has reduced greatly in both my tropical and goldfish tanks. It should be noted here that Easy Balance is not a substitute for a water conditioner, and so new tap water will still need to be conditioned to remove chlorine and chloramines from it. ...Having asthma, sensitive skin and Psoriasis means that I need to be extra careful with what I use for all sorts of personal care - every bottle of every substance is scrutinised to boredom for any trace of something that might irritate an already irritable skin/scalp or be too perfumed for my breathing aparatus to cope with. I tend to be able to use shampoos but not their corresponding conditioners, as so many manufacturers just have to add lanolin, or wool alcohols, or another obscure sheepish derivative to try to improve the moisturising/shine creating capacities of their conditioners. THIS IS JUST SO FRUSTRATING, as my hair is quite fine, and there is loads of it and it tends to get quite dry, particularly when the weather is a bit wild and windy. ...Boots No.7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation Cost £11.00 but for me this is totally worth it ! Ok so Boots promises that it "Give your skin a powder-soft finish" and "It glides on effortlessly for a barely-there feel and keeps skin shine free all day long with a soft, natural-looking finish" And it certainly does ! Most foundations make me look orange as Jodie Marsh so I decided that I would go for the lightest shade which is 'New Ivory' . All the colours are (in lightest to darkest order) : New Ivory , Blonde , Almond , Buff , Tan and Suede . Pretty good selection there , one for all skin types I reckon ! I applied this with a small make - up sponge on all my face and it covered up all my inperfections and stopped my skin from shining for basically all day ! ...I had stuck with the same make of shampoo for a long time and was happy with it, but as a hairdresser(long retired but the basic rules don't change) I know that changing brand can often give excellent results because however carefully you rinse, (this applies to laundry products as well), a residue will remain. A change of brand means a change of formula which will strip out any residue giving your hair a new shine. This is what advertisers rely on. I spotted a special offer of Clairol shampoos and decided to give it a go. I chose the moisture balance for normal hair. As I have got older the awful greasiness I suffered from has gone, thank goodness, anyone else remember Sunsilk lemon? Broke my heart when that was replaced with a new brand. I'm not quite sure why my skin and I don't get along so well, and I'm not about to start listing the rigorous routines of cleansing and soaking and exfoliating and moisturising and brusking and everything else that I have to go through just to avoid looking like a diseased cut in a butcher's window (yes, here's where you breathe your sigh of relief). What I am going to do is tell you about the best foundation I've found, working under the not entirely illogical assumption that if even my skin can be placated by L'Oréal's Ideal Balance make-up, yours can too.
