Nike Golf Balls Distance Control
Review of Nike Tiger Woods Golf Balls by
titch_40k
Advantages: added distance and control
Disadvantages: a bit expensive
...opinion on the balls that I bought rather than Nike golf balls overall. I bought a sleeve of three Distance Control Nike golf Balls. These were designed to give extra distance as well as accuracy in the air. Through extensive research these balls produce optimised spin for shot stopping control. They reduce driver spin for less hook and slice for those big hitting shots. This is all thanks to the responsive and durable ionomer cover and a high-energy polybutadiene core for added distance and accuracy.
I recommend this product to the golfers who need to get that extra 20 odd yards from their iron shots and the drives. Also if you have slicing or hooking problems Distance Control golf balls are the ones for you. I must express how much these golf balls cost they are not cheap but are worth the investment if you feel you need it!!

Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Balls
Review of Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Balls by
silkyuk9
Advantages: Very very long
Disadvantages: expensive to lose
...I tried a Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Ball in a match play knockout yesterday, I play off 21 and my opponant was off 12 so granted i did have a few shot in hand. I have never used a Nike one black (the ball is white however) but was very impressed with the result. I found the ball which has a thin urethene cover and a enanced 408 dimples very long to hit, Longer than my usual PTS Solo golf balls. I was very impressed with the length and how straight it flew in the air.
Off the tee I only missed two fairways but the length was very impressive. I won my game 3 and 2 and to be honest I didn't really need the shots. Really though i found the combination of the balls and my Ping G2 driver excellent. on the greens my ball did truely roll further and felt very nice to hit. I felt the disatnce almost with my first putt, and was never 2 foot...

Nike is great
Review of Sport in General by
jolal999
Advantages: fashionable, comfortable
Disadvantages: a little expensive
...I bought a pair of Nike trainers two months back and I have been very happy with my purchase. I bought Nike Air Turbulance, this brand was very popular and I could see why. Its not the shape of classics but a more sporty shape. It is different from other trainer on the market. I find them very comfortable to wear because of the padding. The trainers cost me £60 when i bought them, i would imagine that they have either risen in price or remained constant but i doubt whether they would go below £60. I think that they are worth the money because they are so fashionable and also not too expensive. there is also a wide range of colours for that trainer which i found good....

Probably the best firm ground boots ever
Review of Nike Air Zoom Mercurial F.G. by
beanie8844
Advantages: Lightweight, Long-lasting, Comfortable
Disadvantages: Little protection from injury
...As a football coach who also plays competitvely twice a week my choice of football boots is extremely important. When playing on soft ground I use the new Adidas F50+ boots, but when the ground is hard there is no substitute for the Nike Air Zoom Mercurials. With a pricetag of over £100 they are expensive, but will prove tremendous value for money in the long term. I've had my pair for two years now, but you wouldn't know it apart from the studs being slightly worn down.
The best feature of the boots is how little they weigh (approx 185g), giving you the feeling of being able to run faster and accelerate away or towards an opponent. The shape of the boots and the soft leather make a great contact surface with the football for accurate passing and shooting. They are also extremely comfortable to wear.
The only negative thing you can...

Mercurial R9
Review of Nike Air Zoom Mercurial F.G. by
zarniwoop
Advantages: durable, light, comfy and waterproof
Disadvantages: bit expensive
...These have to be the best boots I have ever bought and used. When I ordered my boots out of my mag I though they would be like any old boot but boy was I wrong. I've always chosen Nike boots over any other one even though most of my friends prefer adidis. Since I play quite a lot and mainly in the wet (I live in Scotland), they needed to be waterproof and they had to last because of the price.
These Nikes are the lightest I have ever worn. I don't know what material they are made of, but it's darn good and lasting even though they feel like they can be ripped apart by bare hands. I have already used them for a month and they are still nice and shiney after a little wash.
The main reason I bought new boots is because my old pair of nike didn't last very long and my toe burst through them. On all of my other boots, they weren...

Expensive but worth it!
Review of Nike Air Shield Shinguard by
hiphop600
Advantages: Feel great
Disadvantages: Expensive
...I have been playing football for many years for a club, and so I have gone through a fair share of shin pads, varying from make to make!
In my time I have worn shinpads by Umbro, Adidas and Puma but these definately do not compare to the new style of Nike shin pads. Nike have bought out many shin pads in their time which have been average just like any other shin pads, stiff and heavy. This can distract you in a match as you feel you have to keep adjusting them but recently Nike have brought out a reveloutionary new type of shin pad, called Nike air shin pads.
Instead of the normal hard plated shin pads, these have plates covering the front with air as well to cushion the impact of any fierce tackles! They are excellent - light, comfortable and provide the protection necessary!
Eventhough they are on the expensive side of around £20...

After loving I now hate
Review of Sport in General by
edsnothappy
Advantages: Look pretty
Disadvantages: Dont last, too expensive, poor customer service
...In my youth (HA I'm only 19) the only trainers I ever wanted were Nikes, because not only were they cool, they were also very good looking. But now after my last purchase I have decided that I now hate Nike trainers.
My most recent buy were a pair of Nike Air Winter Waffles (I know, what a rubbish name). These trainers lasted 3 months before the air system burst. I have had this problem before but always thought that it was I being too hard wearing. But come on people 3 months for a pair of £70 running trainers is abysmal.
Other problems I had with these trainers were that the logos came away from the trainer and all the paint from the plastic parts of the trainers came off.
Being a bit of a moaner I decided to contact Nike and say how disappointed I was with their trainers, but alas not a single email address for British customers...

My views on the Nike Sparta Football
Review of Nike Sparta Ball by
garsbfc
Advantages: Excellent leather
Disadvantages: Pain for goalkeepers
...these are my views on the Nike Sparta ball. there is not very much to write about when describing a football, however i will do my best to share my opinion on this ball.
firstly my experience of this ball has been a positive one. the ball is made from an excellent leather which gains good leverage with a decent kick. this is important as some balls, no matter how hard they have been hit, will only travel a certain distance before descending.
when i first bought the ball, about 6 months ago, i only used to play with it on grass, as i didnt want to scuff the leather so that the patches wore and started to fall off. however for the past 2 month i have been playing with the ball on concrete regularly and the ball is still intact. this shows the the robustness of the ball and the quality of the leather it is made from.

Nike Air Turbulance
Review of Sport in General by
RuthHolohan
Advantages: Trendy
Disadvantages: Not sure if I like them or not.
...Redesigned for 'Fall 2001' the Nike Air Turbulance (64.99) is apparently the next big thing in trainer cool. Forget your classics and your Cortez, Turbulance is "For the High school and college runner who wants to perform and be the coolest looking too". Even if they do say so themselves (!).
According to Nike's telesales brochure, the Air Turbulance is made of mesh for 'running breathability', has moulded hinges to the forefoot for a 'snug running fit' and has a 'large volume airbag' for ''"unmatched" running cushioning'. What does this mean to your average trainer consumer? Well it means these are super-trendy canvas running shoes.
Lets get back to the 'moulded hinges'. Thats the all-new feature. What the hell are they? I hear you ask! Well basically the Nike Air Turbulance is more of a sock than a trainer because it has...

Just do it
Review of Nike Championship League Skills Ball by
martynlong22
Advantages: Good for Strikers
Disadvantages: Bad for Keepers
...If you don't own a Nike product these days you are certainly in the minority. The Nike advertising machine has really gone into overload recently, with big money adverts featuring top footballers the norm. You've all seen the one with Edgar Davids and those stupid sunglasses, well their new range of Footballs have been even more contraversial. Keepers claim the new lighter ball swerves too much, while unsurprisingly strikers are haling it as their saviour! Well the first time i came across the ball i could easily see a dramatic difference to ordinary balls, i shocked even myself with the speed of the ball as it flew through the air at the speed of light!
It is undoubtedly a great ball for outfield players, the pace is dramatic while the unpredictable swerve plays havoc with even the greatest of goalkeepers.
The jury is still out...
