Nike Air Turbulance
Review of Sport in General by
RuthHolohan
Advantages: Trendy
Disadvantages: Not sure if I like them or not.
...Redesigned for 'Fall 2001' the Nike Air Turbulance (64.99) is apparently the next big thing in trainer cool. Forget your classics and your Cortez, Turbulance is "For the High school and college runner who wants to perform and be the coolest looking too". Even if they do say so themselves (!).
According to Nike's telesales brochure, the Air Turbulance is made of mesh for 'running breathability', has moulded hinges to the forefoot for a 'snug running fit' and has a 'large volume airbag' for ''"unmatched" running cushioning'. What does this mean to your average trainer consumer? Well it means these are super-trendy canvas running shoes.
Lets get back to the 'moulded hinges'. Thats the all-new feature. What the hell are they? I hear you ask! Well basically the Nike Air Turbulance is more of a sock than a trainer because it has...

Review of Nike Total 90 T.F. by
mercedes007
Advantages: comfy looks good
Disadvantages: None
.... The laces lace uo slightly to the side of thee shoe so that maximum feel of the ball is enabled. The laces come in the right length to just tuck under the tongue, making them look good once again. Many people have commented to me since I’ve had them, that they like them, so public opinion seems to be good on these boots.
When Nike said the lace placement would make the feel of the ball better they were right, it makes you more confident about kicking the ball, and more often that not, the ball goes excatly where you want it.
There many types of Nike total air 90, and they first made thier appearance in the 2002 world cup on Roberto Carlos, which also helped the publicity of the boot. I think that as far as value for money goes, these boots, all kinds of them would reach 10 out of 10. I would recomend them as a present for a football loving...

nike mercurial iv
Review of Nike Mercurial II SG by
betterthenever
Advantages: light good looking
Disadvantages: scrath easily
...I am not doing the nike mercurials 2 i am doing the nke merurials iv . I had to do do it with this image as there was no other ones for the iv
Introduction
Nike mercurial vapour iv is the new boots made by nike released this year . It is endorsed by the very best players like ronaldo drogba and many others . The nike mercurial vapours iv are the lightest shoes made by nike or anyone yet .
The look
The nike mercurials look absaloutly stunning . They are availabble in two colours at the moment from the shop but for a lot more money you can now personalise them to any colour you want from nike id which is something that i would strongly as the shoes are new and not many people are wearing them so if you change the colours people might think that they are fake
The nike mercurials are the best looking nike boots yet the colours...

The football shoe for a real football player
Review of Nike Total 90 F.G. by
jeffe
Advantages: Great control and looks good
Disadvantages: Studs wear out quickly
...This shoe symbolises everything that Nike stands for. Performance, style and superiority. When I put on my Total 90 shoes I just feel different. I feel like a real football player. Even on the pitch, my ball control improves significantely and passing/shooting the ball with the outstep is much easier than with a conventional football shoe.
The shoe is also really eye catching. Mainly because the laces are situated more on the outside of the shoe. This, together with the nice-looking pattern and colours and the fact that there is two Nike swooshes automatically make you attract people's attention (and I don't mean by your football skills).
Another good thing about Nike's Total 90 is that it is very comfortable to play in. It is sufficiently padded on the outside unlike other football shoes and so it does not hurt when you shoot...

Nike Golf Balls Distance Control
Review of Nike Tiger Woods Golf Balls by
titch_40k
Advantages: added distance and control
Disadvantages: a bit expensive
...opinion on the balls that I bought rather than Nike golf balls overall. I bought a sleeve of three Distance Control Nike golf Balls. These were designed to give extra distance as well as accuracy in the air. Through extensive research these balls produce optimised spin for shot stopping control. They reduce driver spin for less hook and slice for those big hitting shots. This is all thanks to the responsive and durable ionomer cover and a high-energy polybutadiene core for added distance and accuracy.
I recommend this product to the golfers who need to get that extra 20 odd yards from their iron shots and the drives. Also if you have slicing or hooking problems Distance Control golf balls are the ones for you. I must express how much these golf balls cost they are not cheap but are worth the investment if you feel you need it!!
With added...

Racing without much on yer feet man
Review of Sport in General by
tom_knowles
Advantages: Nowt to them
Disadvantages: Colour, painful 2 wear, will not be in shops much longer
...distance spike (800/1500) that can be used by those on other sides of the spectrum (400/5/10k). The weight is not specified by the manufacturer, nor on any sports shoe web sites i have found. But... i have a breakneck pair of New balance road flats weighing in at 190g (Jesus-nothing there), and the Nike Jasari babies come up even lighter!!! I guess around 150-60!!! (size 8).
There really is nothing to them. A spike plate, heel wedge and a little meshing to hold the foot.
SPIKE PLATE
This is nothing special, no new spangled design like some of the recent Nike, Addidas spikes. However it does have some bizzare pre fixed titanium spikes. ADVANTAGE- lightness, less fiddling around. DISADVNT- once they have worn down the whole shoe needs to be replaced. However i have had them for a year and the spikes only just need replacing. In most cases spikes...

My best investment-by a sports shop assistant.
Review of Sport in General by
RuthHolohan
Advantages: Hardwearing
Disadvantages: Expensive
...I'll admit it now before I start, I'm a trainer sales-person. Yes, thats my job and I'm writing to tell you how great a pair of trainers are. I guess you might say thats a bit dodgy of me and I'm just trying to get you all to go out and buy a load of over-priced rubbish but NO! don't think about it that way. See, I spend 40 hours a week testing out the newest and trendiest sports gear when I really should be selling it and I'm going to write about a pair of trainers I bought back in 1996 that I'm still wearing.
Nike Air Max Classic Leather. Currently retailing at £84.99 and a terrible rip off as i'm told several times a day by the irate parents of stroppy 15 year olds who just won't wear anything else. Don't listen to them - these babies are the best pair of shoes I've ever bought. And I've bought a hell of a lot of trainers as I...

Good clothes, bad service
Review of Footlocker (Shop) by
scottyk
Advantages: good range of clothes
Disadvantages: customer service, queues
...Footlocker is one of those shops that when you walk into one, you know that most of the time you will find good stuff to purchase. It is the only shop i know of to stock the Nike Air Tn range of shoes and this means that they get most of the custom from all the so called 'hip' people.
When i was looking for a some new trainers over the christmas period i ventured into Birmingham city centre to check out their Footlocker. As you would expect, the city was very busy and it was a struggle to just get in the shop. When we did however, we were shocked by the staff who 'worked' their. After i had decided on which trainers i wanted, no staff came and asked what size i wanted but just walked past them like i wasn't there!
Eventually when i did get served, the addendant brought out a size too small because she argued, " the sizes are one...

Hippychick walks on Air!!!!!!
Review of Nike Air Tuned Max Harmonious II by
Hippychick54
Advantages: Oh so many!!!!
Disadvantages: they are not exactly delicate shoes!!!!!!!
...went back to my doctor who then decided to inject my heel with steroids to reduce the inflammation - That really hurt - but did not make it feel better. I had to insist that I was referred to a consultant for soft tissue problems - that was six weeks ago and the appointment has not come through yet.
Every pair of shoes felt rock hard under my heel - even the softest of slippers felt like concrete with spikes. I began to feel like I was losing the plot.
A further visit to the doctors last week (why am I beginning to feel a nuisance?) has left me signed off work for one month initially, still in pain and still on crutches.
I had been wearing a pair of trainers that my daughter had fetched for me when this first started - but lately even though they had raised my arches - I was unable to walk in them.
My son suggested Nike Air trainers...
