...This shoe symbolises everything that Nike stands for. Performance, style and superiority. When I put on my Total 90 shoes I just feel different. I feel like a real football player. Even on the pitch, my ball control improves significantely and passing/shooting the ball with the outstep is much easier than with a conventional football shoe. The shoe is also really eye catching. Mainly because the laces are situated more on the outside of the shoe. This, together with the nice-looking pattern and colours and the fact that there is two Nike swooshes automatically make you attract people's attention (and I don't mean by your football skills). Another good thing about Nike's Total 90 is that it is very comfortable to play in. It is sufficiently padded on the outside unlike other football shoes and so it does not hurt when you shoot... ...I bought these off the internet from a shop called kitbag.com, it is full of great deals, boots, shirts and accesories for all of your sporting needs. **Description** These are a great buy for any price, they come in red, grey or blue, they are made by the company, NIke. They are a ferm but comfortable pair of trainers that can be used on grass and Astro-Turf. The sole of the shoe have tiny, stud-like bumps on the bottom, they are especially made for Astro-Turf. The side, Nike tick on the side, with small 'total 90' written on the back of the side. The heel is grey, blue or red with another small Nike tick. The laces are grey, red or blue with a strip of the colour down the front. .... The laces lace uo slightly to the side of thee shoe so that maximum feel of the ball is enabled. The laces come in the right length to just tuck under the tongue, making them look good once again. Many people have commented to me since I’ve had them, that they like them, so public opinion seems to be good on these boots. When Nike said the lace placement would make the feel of the ball better they were right, it makes you more confident about kicking the ball, and more often that not, the ball goes excatly where you want it. There many types of Nike total air 90, and they first made thier appearance in the 2002 world cup on Roberto Carlos, which also helped the publicity of the boot. I think that as far as value for money goes, these boots, all kinds of them would reach 10 out of 10. I would recomend them as a present for a football loving... Read review

...Redesigned for 'Fall 2001' the Nike Air Turbulance (64.99) is apparently the next big thing in trainer cool. Forget your classics and your Cortez, Turbulance is "For the High school and college runner who wants to perform and be the coolest looking too". Even if they do say so themselves (!). According to Nike's telesales brochure, the Air Turbulance is made of mesh for 'running breathability', has moulded hinges to the forefoot for a 'snug running fit' and has a 'large volume airbag' for ''"unmatched" running cushioning'. What does this mean to your average trainer consumer? Well it means these are super-trendy canvas running shoes. Lets get back to the 'moulded hinges'. Thats the all-new feature. ...Schuh is my little piece of heaven on the high street. When a girl can't find clothes that suit her, what is she to do? Shop for shoes, that is what!!!! As the proud owner of nearly 30 pairs of shoes, I am ready to testify that Schuh is my alternative desert island disc! Seriously though, this is a shoe shop based in Scotland that sells name-brand shoes from Acupuncture to Adidas, from Nike to New Balance, from Caterpillar to Converse. It also has its own range of shoes. They sell sensible shoes such as the kind that your parents would allow you to walk straight out of the shop in to the kind of boots that not even the least self-respecting lady of the night would wear - think Julia Roberts in the early shots of Pretty Woman and you have what I am talking about! ...I was thinking I would actually talk about the trainers rather than the advert on the basis that I have been very impressed with my pair of Reeboks’. I play badminton once or sometimes twice a week, so I need a fairly sturdy pair of shoes with good grip which would mean that I have the optimum chance to perform. Reebok have been able to provide me with this sort of shoe and as a result I feel more confident on the court. Previously I had a Nike training shoe which I thought would adequate for the job right, because lets face it badminton is not the most demanding on the shoe other than the factors above. When these had finally clapped out though after two and a half years I decided to go with a pair of Reebok training shoes and I was very surprised with the difference. ...distance spike (800/1500) that can be used by those on other sides of the spectrum (400/5/10k). The weight is not specified by the manufacturer, nor on any sports shoe web sites i have found. But... i have a breakneck pair of New balance road flats weighing in at 190g (Jesus-nothing there), and the Nike Jasari babies come up even lighter!!! I guess around 150-60!!! (size 8). There really is nothing to them. A spike plate, heel wedge and a little meshing to hold the foot. SPIKE PLATE This is nothing special, no new spangled design like some of the recent Nike, Addidas spikes. However it does have some bizzare pre fixed titanium spikes. ADVANTAGE- lightness, less fiddling around. DISADVNT- once they have worn down the whole shoe needs to be replaced. However i have had them for a year and the spikes only just need replacing.
