Rather, it is review one particular modern translation of the Bible, explaining the philosophy behind this translation, my experience of it, what I liked and didn't like, and form an overall assessment of this as opposed to other versions. ...I have been with NLT for about the past 3 ½ years, and while they provide good services, such as standard phone line, free internet access, internet TV, cable TV, free calls to customer services (this is very handy as you see later) and free itemised billing amongst others, their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I am surprised they ever make a profit. I have had NLT lines installed in four of my residences. The first two encounters passed with only minor problems like my second line going dead after a few days and being kept on hold for 20 minutes to speak with a customer service adviser. This I thought irritating but was no big deal. When I moved to my Third residence the problems began. ...The Bible Code is a pretty cool book if your into aliens,war and mythology, but that doesn't mean that i mock the things that are written about. What i do think personally is that a person who believes in God and the Bible should be at the helm when it comes to writing this kind of thing. The book itself is quite entertaining but totally lacks reality as there is given no proof that the code is real, just supposition, However i believe there is a real code hidden in the Bible, the real name for it is the Torah Code, which means pretty much the same but is researched by those through history and modern times who are conected by their faith and culture. ...I can highly recommend the BIBLE series of computer reference books. I own 3: Dreamweaver 2 Bible, Access 97 Bible and Windows 98 Bible. They are all in daily use and are invaluable to me as reference tools. They are normally around the £40 ($50) price but are undoubtedly excellent value for money. Each book usually comes with a CD packed with tutorials, help files, examples and other useful programs. As a learning aid to programs they are brilliant and I believe they are second to none. The books are published by IDG Books and there are many titles available covering a wide range of topics. With each book containing about 1000 pages you can't fail to find the answers to any queries you have.... Read review
