Mobile evolution
Review of Nokia 8210 by
winprizes2000
Advantages: size, ease of use
Disadvantages: can't use another Nokia accesories
...This model Nokia is a case of evolution rather than revolution. As with every new model that Nokia introduce the mobile shrinks in size and gains a few features whilst intrinsically remaining true to the Nokia brand.
This is no bad thing as in so many ways Nokia are the clear leaders in the mobile phone market and for good reason. The phones they produce are consistently well built and the easy to navigate menus lend themselves to beginners; once familiar with Nokia menus why switch to another make - perhaps this is why Nokia have such stong brand loyalty.
The voice activation works better than on any mobile phone I have previously tried this feature on and the design is stylish and can be personalized by the changeable front covers.
This is an obvious upgrade for say the 3210 user - the only drawback being the inability to utilize...

Nokia 7650 Has To Be One of The Best Mobiles EVER!
Review of Nokia 7650 by
asif_patel23
Advantages: Camera, Video Camcorda, sat nav tomtom Remote control (YES CONTROL tv, sky, video)
Disadvantages: bit big but not a problem
...This has to be one of the best mobile phones i have ever had. Try Snapshot covers...
Review of Phone covers/holders by
Sarajc
Advantages: Great personalised gift, fun way to use snapshots
Disadvantages: Only available on certain Nokias
...I was searching for a nice stocking filler for my friends and came upon this site - www.virgin.com/createacover - which enables you to create and design your own mobile phone cover. Using their software online, you can upload any scanned-in photo or jpeg from the web, position it as you like on the mobile phone cover, alter the size of the photo, pick what colour you want the mobile phone cover to be, and see a finished copy before ordering it to be delivered to your house.
It's an ingenius idea. You can put a photo of your girlfriend/boyfriend, pet, favourite celebrity, favourite band (and coordinate your mobile ringtone to match). If you have some great photos from a wild night out on the lash, you can use those to put on your mobile cover.
The mobile phone covers only fit on the Nokia 3210, 3310 and 3330 and the Sendo S200...

Panasonic GD87. My 45000 Colors (Screen) partner.
Review of Panasonic GD87 by
Lio_Greece
Advantages: External Screen, Infrared port, Camera
Disadvantages: Dual-Band instead of Tri-,
...A couple of months ago, I was given a Panasonic GD87. It is an "almost-full" mobile phone. It has voice-calling, camera, a "loudspeaker", polyphonic ringtones (as the most of the new mobiles and it supports both midi & these on Sony-Ericsson Mobiles), it has an infrared port, access to mobile internet via G.P.R.S. network. It is a dual-band terminal (900 & 1800MHz).
- Voice-Calling system
You can add up to 10 voice-called numbers. It is not very good as that on Nokia Phones. You say "John" and sometimes calls "Julie".
- Camera
Very good camera. It is almost perfect. It takes good pictures, and has some "special" stuff. You can take black-white pictures, or negatives, or in grey scale. It also has a "Night Mode" which a blue "light" flashes when you press the button to take a picture.
- Polyphonic Ringtones
The polyphonics...

Review of Nokia 8890 by
shak_y2k
Advantages: looks good
Disadvantages: everything even the looks, make the fone look like a toy!
...try either the motorola tri band better value for money and you know you get the best available option rather than a fashion objectthis fone was the given to me by my network provider before i went abroad to america. i required a tri band phone. as i had an 8850 they offered me a 8890 and my fone as a deposit. to be totally honest this fone is is a waste of money. you pay extra for a tri band function. it is the same fone as the 8850 but not dual band and insted tri band!
dont waste your money and time on this fone!...

Nokia 8800 : So stylish! So metallic!
Review of Nokia 8800 by
londoniese
Advantages: Sleek and stylish and very slim, with a sliding keypad cover
Disadvantages: heavy, poor battery life
...radio, video and music players, exclusive 3G graphics and ringtones (including MP3), Java games, email and a handsfree speaker.
The tri-band GSM phone operates in European and American band (GSM 850 or 900/1800/1900 networks) and provides GPRS and EDGE connectivity.
The phone comes with a 64MB internal NAND flash memory for storage of images and music.
The phone's menu is reached by pushing at the centre of the 5-way navigation pad, where Nokia now actually has incorporated a button to improve usability compared to navigation pads found in so many of its earlier models which is good but I still found it a little bit hard to use.
The quality of pictures taken with the camera is average and could be improved and the same goes for the quality of audio produced by the music player.
It features a 3D image engine for enhanced graphics...

An All-round Performer
Review of Nokia 6310i by
MrMetropolitan
Advantages: Superb standby time, Feature packed
Disadvantages: Loses out in style stakes, Size
...with the 17-day battery standby time.
The display is monochrome but larger in size than the hansdets it supercedes. Nokia are pitching firmly for the business user here, there are no concessions to current handset trends like cameras, radios and the like but it does have everything that the business-person could want.
The 6310i is a tri-band phone, so those business trips to the USA are taken in its stride. HSCSD (high speed data-transfer) is a standard feature along with WAP, GPRS and bluetooth. There is also a handy voice recorder for those audio-memos when you don't have a pen to hand. Nokia have carefully ensured that no practical tool is missing and have gone as far as they could in 'futureproofing' this handset.
If you are a business user who travels internationally, uses other mobile devices (laptops, PDAs, etc) then this is probably...

Too Bad It Broke :0
Review of Nokia 6230i by
shaaza
Advantages: Easy to Use, Changable cover, has Bluetooth, good battery life
Disadvantages: like any other mobiles, it stops working if you drop it in liquids.
...your own personal pictures.
---The mobile has a Tri-Band meaning you can use it in many countries including European, American and some African countries.
----------NOTE
---Run the software provided if you want extra features such as picture and video editing tools to your computer. If your computer was made before the year 2000 you might also have to run the software so that you computer recognise the mobile when it has been connected. If you have lost your manual you can still find it o the software.
This mobile is not touch screen like some nowadays mobile
---Do not I repeat 'DO NOT' let the mobile get in contact with any fluids. I dropped mine in juice and now it is no more If you drop it in juice and you do not have insurance on the mobile it will probably cost you more to fix it than buying a new one. That is exactly what...

Great Phone
Review of Nokia 3210 by
the_king
Advantages: ALL
Disadvantages: NONE
...The Nokia 3210 is a great Mobile phone, one of the best out at the moment. It has some really impressive features that other phones lack. And some features that only Nokia would have. I have owned mine now for nearly a year, and in that time many newer models have come out, models that seem impressive, but that are not that impressive so that I would trade it for my own beloved 3210.
You can get the phone on many different companies and many different packages; this is because it is a dual band phone. This also means that it will work from or to Europe, but not in the states or Canada. I think anyway, mine didn’t.
The phone comes with a number of Ring tones, that you can set, but there are not exactly bearable. They are very irritating. You can also get the phone in a number of different colour covers. You can also buy many...
