...This is not a site I would usually bother with as I have stuck with Internet EXplorer since the early days occasionly using Netscape Navigator , OPera and Neoplanet. One of the major plus points I spotted early was that this site has lists of all browsers available but rather than being biased towards Windows there are also lists for other platforms such as the mac , amiga ,unix and os/2 . If you have a browser that uses plugins there is a section devoted to all the plugins available in different categories and again these are divided by category or by operating system. For all you stat freaks there is a page listing the percentages of people using a type of browser to view the site and these figures are interesting if somewhat predictable. Entertainment is okay! It includes some games which can be played in stand alone mode, and some can be played in online mode. How amusing it is! Need help? This is the most outstanding thing to figure out here. This OS supports its users to get help online. Supposing someone find an error message, then the OS can direct you to send the error message via email! It seems that Windows is serious in servicing his customer. Windows 98 is a relativly stable OS for the average user. It requires a minimum of at least a P3 500, with 64mb ram and 1Gb hard disk, making it open to the majority of PC users. However, running high spec games and applications (such as Half Life or 3D Studio Max for example) can cause the pc to 'hang' or crash, which can become tiresome to the more advanced user.
