...Colgate is undoubtedly one of the most established brands of toothpaste in the UK and indeed worldwide. But did you know the company is 200 years old? No neither did I - just take a look at their website if you don't believe me! When it comes to toothpaste, I am loyal to two main brands - Aquafresh and Colgate. I tend to buy several tubes of whichever one happens to be on offer when I go shopping. My latest purchase was two tubes of Colgate Oxygen for £3 from Tesco - a saving of 88p. I had not bought this particular variety before, but was intrigued to find out how well it fared compared to my usual Aquafresh toothpaste. Colgate Oxygen toothpaste comes in a standard sized box, with the Colgate logo embossed across the front. ...Oxygen 2 in 1 pads. I started using oxygen pads 3 weeks ago, And that was due to a friend, ( Ana-one half of DoubleTrouble) she gave me one to try! My first thought was very rough, and made my face feel as though It had been stripped...The sting was unbelievable..lol They really cleanse your face, Makes it feel so fresh. Also contain anti-bacterial formula, which does effectively Remove dirt, oil and grease. There are two sides to these pads, the starter side and second side. First side exfoliates your skin, removes any dead skin cells and muck. Second side is a deep cleanse to open the pores helping your skin to breathe properly. I have really sensitive skin and when started using oxygen pads, was very doubtful at first, as any thing I usually use, I come out in blotches, so i was very sceptical about using these... ...As im a music Producer, I use a number of Midi Keyboards when i go to studios. M-audio keyboards are levels abouve the rest within the industry. I previously i owned the smaller version of this the Oxygen8 v2, which i loved, howeveras i was progressing as a musician, it was limiting me on the mellodies i was composing as there wernt enough keys. So i upgraded to the Oxygen 61 which is what im currently using. Im extremely happly with it so far, and feel that it meets all of my requirements not just as a Midi Keyboard but also as a Controller Interface for software like 'Reason'. The Modulation and Pitch Bend Sliders are very useful while recording to generate different effects. ...As someone who doesn't have problem skin but gets annoyed with the spots I do get, I went out in search of a new facial cleanser. Being the penny-pincher I am, my search took me to Home Bargains where all the products are supposed to be sold at half the RRP. Scouring the beauty shelves, I came across an attractive-looking whte and silver duo-pack of Oxygen daily facial wash and daily cleanser for the bargain price of just £1.99. Not expecting a great deal for the amount I paid (even though it is a branded product) I set about using both products on my face religiously morning and evening for a week. I expected the facial wash to keep in with the "pure and natural" theme and be clear but it looks artificially blue. You only need a very small amount to lather your face as it foams up quite well. ...I received these speakers as a Birthday present in March from a friend. I was thrilled with them as I had been desperate for a docking station or speakers to play my iPod on. The speakers: The speakers are very attractive and compact yet produce a rich deep bass sound, which is not always present on speakers of this size. They are very lightweight and fold to close at 15 ounces and 8 inches wide, 5.4 inches deep and 1.2 inches thick. The box the speakers come in quotes "With four AA batteries your speakers will play continuously for twenty-four hours" which sounds brilliant but in my experience on 2 x AA batteries they will play for 19 hours. With a beautifully crafted real wood veneer, a very modern looking silver alloy driver and a gold coloured metallic tweeter protected by silver mesh they manage to mix the old with contemporary perfectly. Too many speaker's within the S1's price and performance range have a very bland, old fashioned appearance. At the other end of the spectrum very modern and exotically styled speakers do so at the expensive of looking a bit cheap and plasticky. The S1's balanced appearance of old with new was what first attracted me to them . One of the unique features I like most about the design is the fact that the round metal mesh protecting the tweeter can be removed, in the same way you would remove the speaker cover's. ...I got these speaker is 2004 and they are still going strong. I have taken them on holiday, to school and they are now my computer speakers. They can be used about every where. Amazing peice of kit. ( been half way around the world) Hardley dented at all. Unlike normal computer speakers or portable speakers these include a small amplifier with the volume control and added "bass boost " controls. This is really great as the speakers can be on another shelf and the amplifier can be on your desk so you can control them without moving all the time. -The speakers- The speakers are really great quality and can deliver a vast range of tones easily. Although they are maybe just a little too big to be taken on holiday in hand luggage (they could be) they are still great. They are silver in colour and have light blue mesh over the speaker... ...I brought my set of tannoys 15 months ago and, at the time,they cost £300.Now,with a little searching around,they can be obtained for under £200. What you get in the box is five satellite speakers(two front,two rear and a centre speaker) plus a seperate powered subwoofer. You also get wall mounted supports for the two front and two rear speakers and all the speaker cables(i changed the cables to 79 stand q.e.d. speaker cable to improve the sound). Setting up the system is relatively easy:you just need an electric drill for the the wall mounted stands and once fitted,you just connect the cables to your home cinema amp. Easy!! Once you have connected everything,it is time to try out the system. My first reaction and i am sure yours will be the same was one of complete disbelief!!
