...I began by breatsfeeding my son for the first six weeks, we then switched him onto formula (not Cow and Gate). He instantly became constipated and unsettled. Someone recommended the Cow and gate milk as it contains prebiotics - to help aid digestion. Basically what they do for my baby is they give his poop a consistancy similar to breastmilk poop which is softer and easier to pass - a big bonus for a baby who feels much more comfortable. The packaging is well designed and I would never go back to usual the old style of packaging. You can make up a feed using only one hand - the excess powder is scooped away by a piece of plastic just inside the lid and the powder scoop is kept underneath the lid - no more rooting for lost scoops and getting powder dirty! ...! You have to think of a name for your dog and then add your name & e-mail address and tell them if you prefer a female or a male dog. You click on the dog to take him home. Once you have chosen the dog and asked to take him home you will receive a license number for your dog and a password (this is your e-mail address) You will receive a confirmation e-mail that will advise you of your license number, in case you have forgotten to jot it down. You then have to click on 'take the dog home' again and then you are inside your little house! This is where the adventure really starts... This is an adventure for anyone who does not have the time for a real dog and wants a bit of fun, no scooping up the poop but you still have to arrange for the dog to go into kennels if you're on holiday! ...Now I want to make it clear that the stools referred to are not mine but those of Bosley, our 11 month old Hungarian Vizsla. Also that the healthy shine refers to his coat and not his stools (you can't polish a turd as the saying goes) These things are important, as any poop scooping dog owner will tell you. You want to be sure of 2 things (three if you are bare handed , the third being that there are no ventilation holes in the bag you are using), firstly that you are picking up something warm (that means it was your dog!) and secondly that the stool is firm, as this is healthy for the dog (cleans the anal gland)and makes it easier to pick up. Euke as we call it seems to provide the latter. We went on to Eukanuba early on after doing a Vizsla taste test of various dry brands. Wouldn't you know it, Bosley has champagne taste... Read review

...I am one for trying new things so when I saw this at a recent show I thought Great less litter changingmore economic, sounded great, I liked the demo wher they poured some horrible smelling liqiud into it and hey presto it was absorbed to leave odourless litter. I took my bag home and and changed it over straight away ( my cats are used to my changing things and didnt look twice at it). The bag states on it that it should do one cat one month with no need to change it ( do your poop scooping though!!!) I duely emptied the whole bag into their box ( thinking this better be good at £15.99 RRP) In they popped and great no catty smells!! then I saw the trail of little glass pellets being dropped as they walked away. It staes on the bag that this should not happen, I have two British shorthairs so it's not like it was tangled in their fur... Read review

Advantages: Masks the smell of poo extremely well!!!
Disadvantages: Looks more expensive at first, but is actually cost-effective

...When my cat was still a kitten I went through several brands of cat litter, trying to find the best. Being a student at the time I got the supreme feline (he demands the most respect), I started with the cheapest and worked my way up. At first I tried the regular, grey clumping litter, which was really messy to empty and left a nasty smell. Then I tried the woodshavings kind of litter, and that flew all over the bathroom floor. Finally, I decided to push the boat out and spend the little extra on Catsan. Ultimately, it works out more economical. At around £6, depending where you shop (online pet suppliers tend to do two 10litre bags for £10.98), each bag lasts between 3 and 4 weeks, depending how hygienic you are! ...Another in a long line of Barbie acquisitions, and given that Little Miss has just become the proud owner of a real cat, she thought it was very appropriate that she should have a Barbie and cat. ~~What do I get?~~ Open up the as ever difficult box, cut your fingers on the bits of plastic and you are ready to lay out all the bits and pieces in front of you. Included in the box are: 1 Barbie doll (Teresa). This time, in my eyes, she doesn't look overly barbie like. Advantages: Calmed my baby's colic, constipation and sore tummy

...Comfort. The box has clear instructions on how to make the milk and how to store it which is especially useful for new parents like myself. I also really like the clip at the top of the box for keeping the scoop so you don't lose it (which I only discovered whilst writing this review). My one gripe is that the scoop isn't very well shaped for narrow necked bottles. You do tend to lose a bit of the formula over the sides unless you do what I do and use a funnel to make bottles up. I have to say that it does make them have fairly runny poops, so make sure the nappies you are using a built to cope with this. It also makes the poop stink to the high heavens… I always know when my wee boy has filled his nappy (and it's not just because I can hear him farting away like a machine gun!!!). ...and don't seem to mind being knee deep in faeces, you need to find something for them to poop in. We already had a cheap, cover-less litter tray from when they were kittens which made a temporary solution, but after a couple of days of them kicking litter everywhere and having the constant urge to clean it every time a little clump of litter caught your eye something else needed considering. You see, cover-less trays are fine for kittens, but they really aren't practical for adult cats - plus, they smell. Straight down to Argos(not my favourite place in the world!) it was then to get a covered tray, ending up with the Pet Friends Katloo. What you get for your money (around a tenner)is a sturdy plastic litter tray, with a hooded entrance, carrying handle, snap on dome cover, carbon smell filter and scoop for cleaning purposes. ...We here it is, my first review. Not in any order of preference. 1. SPITTING IN THE STREETS. I think this is revolting, nasty, disgusting, unhygienic and uncalled for, and I hate to see people who hold their nose between their fingers and blow it onto the pavement. Tissues are cheap enough and easy to dispose of so why don't they use them! 2. PEOPLE WHO DON'T USE A POOP SCOOPER. How many times have you or a member of your family walked in the deposit of a dog, then had it walked all through the house? I never walk my dog without a poop scoop bag in my pocket and it only takes a few seconds to use it, but it's surprising how many people let their dogs go where ever they want, then the dog owner walks away leaving this pile of smelly mass, for some one to tread in and more than likely it will be a small child. ...to happy valley into porthcawl, bus fare an average 70p.olso the taxi service is excellent to and from the site. Dogs are allowed if you seak permision from the camp office first, but must be kept on a leash at all times and a poop scoop or bag must be carried.... Read review
