Hp's Premium Photo Paper.
Review of HP Premium Photo Paper - glossy photo paper - 20 sheet(s) by
Credance100
Advantages: Excellent high-quality photo paper, produces high quality prints.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.
...Last week, I was asked to journey to my local Office World to buy paper for some holiday snaps. After some shelve browsing I came across the Hewlett Packard Premium photo paper.
I bought it purely due to the fact the packaging seemed to reach out, and in one swift promotional swing, forced me to purchase the product. Well okay I'm exaggurating, the main thing which attracted me to the product was the price tag. Office World have always been pretty good on prices, and the 6.79 I paid for a 10 sheet A4 pack of this left me feeling most impressed, infact I picked up two packs worth to cover all the pictures!
The paper's appearance is of particular high quality. Its extremely glossy, and resembles the sort of paper you find on the covers of magazines, yet much thicker. Of course, I was highly skeptical of the results when used...

I'm in love with... Premium Glossy Photo Paper??
Review of Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper - resin coated glossy photo paper - 20 sheet(s) by
ILoveBargains
Advantages: The quality is excellent - looks just like "proper" photos
Disadvantages: You may have to fiddle with photos before printing to get it to fit!
...As I'm pretty new here I'm taking on all the comments people have given me as they come. Thought this review could do with an edit - hope it's better now!
I bought this photo paper along with my new Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer. Being slightly new to the exciting world of "print your own" photos, I thought maybe the paper made by the same company as the printer (which, incidentally, is excellent also) would be a safe bet for the first time. I am happy to say that next time I'll be buying it again.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a new digital camera that takes photos of a sufficient quality to print A4 size. Of course, the traditional charming 'family and friends' photos that you take when first trying out a camera have to be printed and shown off (!) so I finally got round to setting up the printer and getting out the paper...

HP photo paper is photastic!
Review of Hewlett-Packard Premium Glossy Photo Paper by
sadoldbag
Advantages: Good quality paper produces a shop quality print
Disadvantages: Tear off side can be a bit ragged
...This product is premium quality photo paper with each sheet weighing 240 g/m² (which is quite heavy). It is pre-cut on three sides like normal paper but with a perforated tear-off tab down the fourth side so you can handle the print without touching the photo itself. It aims to give you a finished product that looks like a traditional glossy photograph and claims to be optimised print quality and reliability with HP inkjet printers.
"What the manufacturer says about this product: (taken from their web site)":
The HP Premium Photo Paper is designed especially for home users who want the look and feel of traditional photographs when producing reprints, enlargements or photos for sharing as well as business users for whom high quality, high impact outputs are vital. The traditional-quality 240 g/m2 weight gives your digital photos...

Just like the photos from the chemist!
Review of HP Premium Photo Paper - satin-matt photo paper - 20 sheet(s) by
richard_richard
Advantages: Gives a similar look and feel to traditional photos
Disadvantages: Quite expensive for 20 sheets of paper
...Hewlett Packard produces this premium glossy paper to work specifically with their range of Inkjet printers.
We use HP 940c and HP5550 deskjet printers at my office, and so this paper is very handy for use with these printers, especially when our HP 4500 colour Laserjet printer is tied up with a big print job from someone!
This paper can be purchased for around the £14.99 mark, although if you shop around you may find a cheaper price than this.
Specs
The paper has a satin-matt photo glossy finish to it.
According to HP, the premium status of this paper indicates that it should give very high print quality and allow your deskjet printer to run at its highest resolution..
The weight of the paper is 240 g/m2, which means that it is about the same thickness as a traditional printed photograph.
HP claim...

Digi camera, photo printer and...
Review of Epson Premium - glossy photo paper - 20 sheet(s) by
malekowie
Advantages: Good feeling of real photograph.
Disadvantages: Running out fast.
...for your printer? Don't know?! That is the mater! If you want to achieve best possible result with your printer, buy best possible Photo Quality paper made by your printer maker! No compromises, otherwise you compromise the quality too.
My Epson Stylus Photo R800 prints exceptional photographs, both colour and b&w. It has been designed to, but I need to help my printer to achieve its best by using suitable media. This is the key, suitable media! Since I can't remember when, I have always been using Epson cartridges and photo paper, and have very successful achievements with the prints. At the beginning I have used roll paper, but I dropped it of due to time consuming process of cutting the prints. Later on I discovered pre-cut 100mm x 150mm (4" x 6") Premium Glossy Photo Paper. It was a great relief, no more cutting, just collect prints when...

No more high street developers for me, at last i have found a photo paper that is compariable with the professionals.
You cannot rely just on the paper for good photo prints you also need a high megapixel camera and photo printer.
Camera Richo Caplio R1
Printer Canon Pixma IP5000
These have both been reviewed by me.
The photo paper is non-perferated so if your printer does not do edge to edge printing you would be better off going for the perferated type.
The paper is bright white and very glossy...
