...A skateboarding game? I was dubious to say the least. But then I played it...! Once you've got the hang of it (which doesn't take that long), it's extremely playable. Basically you play as different skateboarders, with the aim of getting 30 video tapes and three gold medals with each of them. There are nine levels, three of which you earn medals on and the other six you earn tapes on. You have to do this for every skater, and for each one there's a video clip to earn. On these you can see that the tricks you are doing in the game really work (or not, as the 'Bails' video clip shows - OUCH!). I have seen the second Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, which looks even better - and I will be playing that just as soon as I've finished the first one!... Read review

...Just bought from ebuyer. I got the best price in the UK. and it is very good digital camera so far I owned. the previous one is olympus C-8080. I have to say C-8080 was an excellent camera with dog's good quality pictures. however, the menu system is awful. naives have to learn some to gain the fluent operations in C-8080. Canon powershot pro1 is excellent in easy operation. the menu is very simple and almost there are all buttons on the camera corrsponding to the menu functions. the manual focus is good,like the normal camera operations. but the len is little bit longth when you shot telepictures. the focus is slow in dark light. movies clip is not as good as c8080 although they are using the same frame rate per second. overall the performance to price is good now.... The babyliss pro 230 has a 5year gurantee which is good as one pair of straightners only had a 1 year gurantee and a day after it ran out ( Would You Believe ) They Decided to break and the company would not accpet them back to repair or even look at Which was a bummer !! I would recommend the babyliss pro 230 straightners to anyone thinking of buying a new pair of straightners as these are just lke Ghds but cheaper. ...Excellent picture quality.... A little long winded install as there is a huge software bungle to do. The software allows face tracking which enables the camera to zoom and alter, so your face remains central.. I presonally have turned it off, as I thought it was a little distracting for the picture to constantly alter is size. Can be used as a motion detector, still camera, and video camera. Multi purpose stand, which can allow attachment to various surfaces... I have been amazed at the quailty of the picture even under some quite dark lighting conditions. The Video recording function, allowing you to record and save clips of any length is very good, and the files can easily be emailled as the file size is reasonable. I have used the camera with both MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger, both work easily and simply. Giving a good result... Read review

...My son wanted a doodle pro as his sister was also putting it on her xmas list,so we got him this one last year.He was into the Disney Cars film ,and that was really all he was into, so what better than this.Cars and a doodle in one.We bought ours from Toys R Us,as that was the only store i found selling it. It was great...required no batteries,didnt take ages to get out of the box...and my son loved it. It has a handle so can be taken wherever you go,and comes with 2 car templates that fit the screen and then kids can copy the template,but my son didn't really use the templates much,but are a great idea for doing great pics.The pen is also shaped as a tool,and included is Lightning McQueen that when ran over the screen leaves tracks,this car then clips back onto the board for storage. ...We purchased the Jane Slalom Matrix Pro for our son on the grounds that it fitted all criteria we were after, namely it had a lie flat car seat, it converted from pram to pushchair and it looked good. We have just moved him into the front facing pushchair (he is 5 months) as he was out growing the carry cot and was wanting to be more upright. Overall I have been happy with the Slalom, the main reasons being: * the frame is relatively light and fits into the boot of my Clio * it is very easy to manouevre and even the tightest of corners can be navigated one handed * the ability to move sleeping baby from house to car to buggy etc has proved indespensible * changing from pram to pushchair has been easy to do My bug bears would be that the carry cot is heavy to lift especially when baby is getting bigger although it is easy to click... ...I am writing a review on the Hair Straightners Babyliss Pro 230. I have really curly hair and have been holding out for such a long time to see if the GHD straightners will go down in price, cause i am not paying £100. But one day i was walking around Gorgons pharmacy when i seen their selection of hair straighners - my friend told me that the 230 ones were really good, and just as good as GHD's - she spend almost 20 mins trying to convince me, so i gave in and purchased them for £40,they were down in price from £80 even though i still didnt believe her. ...My old hedge trimmer has finally bitten the dust, it was no longer safe any more as it refused to switch off straight away when I took my finger off the trigger. Mind you I must have had it for about 20 years so it hasn't done badly! So, time to look for something to replace it and a catalogue fell out of my Saturday paper showing the Garden Groom which is said to be safer and more effective than a traditional hedge trimmer. ...A really good buy for about 30 pounds. It comes with 4 hair clips to use to partion your hair which is really handy if you want that professional look. Straighteners glides through hair really easily and detachable comb allows the hair to be straightened without combing the hair first, as it goes through knots and tangles as well - a real plus if u have long hair. The extra long cable is good too so you can be mobile. Warm up only takes just a few minutes - with maximum temperature of 200 degrees. This is good as with any higher temperatures hair tends to burn and the quality of your hair rapidly deteriorates. However there was a wierd smell when i first used it but it disappeared after a few uses. Plates are wide enough to do lots of hair at once - which is good if you are in a rush - but if you are looking to curl your hair... Read review
